We called Thousand Oaks Cab Co./Yellow Cab Co (they are the same company, by the way) and were told…read morethe taxi would arrive within 20 minutes. 50 minutes later I called and asked where the taxi was as it had not yet arrived. I was told "9 minutes" and held them to their word as it was such a specific time to quote. Silly me! 15 minutes after my last phone call Thousand Oaks Cab Co had STILL not arrived. I called the lady dispatcher once again and she said in an exasperated tone that all times are an estimate. I completely understand the necessity of quoting estimates in many businesses but there is a large difference between 20 minutes and 65 minutes (and still no taxi). in this case 20 minutes no longer falls in the category of an estimate; its just unacceptable. I related this to her and she promptly slammed the phone down on me in mid-sentence. If she had been honest and said they were busy and it might take an hour I could, and would have, had dessert and waited patiently. After her outright lies and rudeness I called another taxi company who told me 20-30 minutes. As we were waiting for this new company the original taxi arrived an hour and twenty-five minutes after our original call and we declined out of principal to accept the ride. The new taxi company arrived a few minutes later, completely within their estimated time of arrival! Will Thousand Oaks Cab Co ever learn proper customer service and ethical business practices? Or will they go out of business once they have alienated all their potential clientele? After our experience and viewing the ratings on this site, I cant imagine they'll be in business much longer.

I chose to get a ride with them because I am traveling for two weeks and the airport parking would have been a crazy amount of $$. All good, right? at 10:00 pm the night before (4 hours before the pick up time) I got an e-mail saying they were unable to come get me. No other explanation. At that time, I could not find any other service that would make an arrangement- too close to travel time. I ended up having to leave even earlier and drive my car. The parking is going to cost me an estimated 4 times a car service would have cost. I would NOT recommend this company to even someone I didn't like. Don't do it!!

One of the days that we were in Palm Springs, we tried to call an Uber to go to few places and there was no response from Uber. We went back inside our hotel, to find out what's taking them so long? The guy at the front desk didn't have an answer and handed me this business card and told us to call them and they will be very helpful. So we did. Rosie's taxi arrived in front of our hotel in less than 20 minutes. Jessie, the driver of the black Prius, came to open the door for us to get in. He was a very kind, helpful, and a safe driver. The car itself was in a good condition. Inside and outside. Very clean. The dispatcher who I believe is also the owner of this company, was very knowledgeable and knew his way around very well. We did ask few questions beforehand. They travel all around California. From the airports, to hotels and wherever else that you need to go. He even offered us the business card and told us to call him back once we were done with our side seeing, eating, etc... and he will come and pick us up. Open 24/7. They accept most credit cards, and I don't know about other method of payments. For 2 hours, he charged us $45.00. One last thing, they checked on us online, via text, and on the phone to inform us about the ride..very content and satisfied not only with the driver, but also with the company. I am a person who is well organized when I travel. I have a lot of concerns about missing my flight…read moredue to cab/car services. Here was my experience from start to end. From the start, it was very easy to make my reservation. Whenever I texted or called, I ALWAYS received a response which was helpful for me because I worry about dependability. I was a bit leery because I had to pay in advance. I had not heard of paying in full before the service -but I paid nevertheless. HOWEVER, I was really impressed by the excellent customer service at Rosie Taxi Cab. On the day of the trip, Rosie Taxi texted me 15 minutes before the car arrived to make sure I was ready. Then texted again when the driver was two minutes away and provided the driver's name, license plate number, make/model and color of the car. Plus, confirmed I was in the car after several minutes! The car service arrived on time and was very clean. The driver (Jesse) greeted me warmly, helped with my luggage, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the journey. The attention to detail and professionalism made the trip, pleasant and reliable. I felt extremely safe especially since I was traveling during off peak hours, and the time was extremely early. Excellent car service. Highly, highly recommend!
