Unfortunately we had to cancel the bus at the last minute. I was sure I would be charged a fee for the cancellation. To my surprise American Limo said that they would give me a full credit, if I wanted it and I could use it anytime within the next 12 months. That was the best option for me since I had numerous events planned for 2014. I have used their services this year and I received EXCELLENT service every time. I had a five star experience from the moment I called this company. I talked to Barbara on the phone, who could not be sweeter. She gave me a quote that included tax and gratuity and they were still more competitive than the five other companies I called. Barbara was so sweet, she even sent a card with our driver and wished us a great time on our trip. Love those personal touches! Both our drivers were incredible. The first driver that picked us up on the morning of our trip, called the night before to let me know his name and confirmed pick up time. LOVE THAT. We were heading off to Europe, so we had a lot to worry about already. To hear that was very comforting. On the way back, I turned on my phone when I got off the plane and I had a text from our driver letting me know his name, exactly where he was standing at the airport and he was waiting there with a luggage cart. If I could give my experience with this company a 0 - I would. Booking a wine tour for very high profile network and studio executives, you would think that service would be absolutely ideal - however it was DISASTROUS. - The day started when the bus was TWO HOURS LATE - after calling the receptionist multiple times, he attempted to persuade me that I booked the party bus for 12:00. After waiting an extra two hours, we made our way outside to the bus, where a disgruntled bus driver met us saying "He's been waiting for TWO HOURS down the street for us to come, with no one to call!" (my number was on the reservation) - From there, the bus driver had no idea of the plan - mind you we booked a wine tour and chose specific destinations with the company during the reservation process, far prior to getting on the bus. - it gets worse. THE BUS DRIVER HAD NO GPS! In a party bus which was probably the most expensive vehicle in their fleet, one member of our team had to continuously sit in the front seat with the driver (separated completely from the rest of the party by a wall, no partition window, nothing, completely shut out). What's the point of renting a party bus if we have to sit in the front seat and guide the bus driver?! - We were dropped off at wrong entrances multiple times - the driver had no clue of how to get to these wineries or where we met our reservation. We walked, and walked, and walked to find the correct places to begin our wine tasting. It was hot and miserable. - After complaining to the bus driver, he could only say that he did not work for this company and that he was booked from another company as sort of a 'substitute' as they were completely booked on that day. IF THEY WERE BOOKED, WHY DID THEY LET ME MAKE THE RESERVATION! Anyways, as you can see the experience was horrible and we paid full price for this on top of it. read more

Easy pick up and drop off at LAX. I'm not one to chat so it was nice to just sit back and listen to music while my driver got me to the airport on time safely and uninterrupted. Pros: See above. It was easy. Observations, no star reductions as they are just observations. The reservation system needs improvement, I left a message and got a call back well later; I'd have preferred a call back within 30 minutes or so. I actually almost booked with another company because I didn't know that I would get called back. I don't like that gratuity was added onto the bill; it ends up being a bum deal for the driver as I would have tipped more. Since it was "forced" into the cost I wasn't compelled to offer more at drop off. It's generally pricier than Uber or Lyft for the same ride but the Suburban has plenty of room. It wasn't any cleaner or nicer than many of the Uber or Lyft rides I have picked up in Thousand Oaks (the Suburban had a nice dinner plate sized dent and scuff on one side) so I am not 100% convinced the premium is worth it but the piece of mind can be. read more

We had no idea limo service could be so phenomenal and we are so glad to have chosen American Luxury Limousine. The car was impeccably clean, well stocked, very comfortable, and honestly so brand new feeling we felt like the first ever customers! Richard was our driver yesterday. He was amazing and very hardworking, showing us how to connect our iPod, where all the drinks were, and placing our lunches where they would be cool until we stopped for our picnic. His attention to detail and his friendly manner made us love having him as our driver. He was so much more than a driver. He was an event planner. Richard was very accommodating and even got us a reserved table at Malibu Winery, which is something we had no luck trying to do by ourselves weeks before. He not only walked us to our table, but ran back in forth bringing us water and our packed lunches, and introduced us to the staff that would take care of our wine flights. We felt like celebrities the way we were treated by Richard even more so that he had connections within the winery. He even knew details about the winery like private tours and we felt like we had our own private tour guide. He obviously knows his stuff, the areas, and the things to do. Richard expertly drove around to all the addresses and even was able to drive us to photo-op spots he knew about over looking the ocean in Malibu. He kept us well within our time schedule without making us feel rushed. He helped take photos for us. He was exemplary and I cannot wait to use American Luxury Limo's service and him as our driver again. We are so pleased to have had such a wonderful, stress-free event because of Richard's knowledge and customer-service oriented actions. We found American Luxury Limo thanks to great reviews on Yelp...after being very disappointed with some other local providers. We arranged a wine tour for the day (turned out to be a 12-hour day). Richard was our driver--he's the go-to guy for wine tours in Santa Ynez. We had a couple places in mind, and Richard recommended a couple others. The best tip was a 5-course (not that filling, actually) wine pairing lunch at Roblar. Perfect! The 10 pax limo was just a year old, in perfect condition. Richard went through and even cleaned glasses while we were in the wineries and at dinner! Price was reasonable, advice was useful, and the limo didn't have that worn look. Highly recommend! Update as of January 2014: We've used American Luxury Limousine for another family wine tour of Santa Ynez valley, as well as LAX airport runs. Consistently great service and spotless, new vehicles. I've had to go from LAX to Ventura for business on several occasions and on every occurrence American was there for me, on time and with a smile. Booked with the company for my wedding day. The day would have been perfect if the driver, Edwin, didn't do the following things. So this review is more appropriate for the driver rather than the company itself. Pros: -Driver arrived earlier than scheduled time -Sound system, lights and other equipment in good working order -Quoted price were accurate and payment transaction were smooth with no added/surprise charges Cons: -Driver asked my groomsmen for tips. Even thought the price is exclusive for the duration (gratuity, tax, gas etc... all included in the quoted price). -Driver took off during our bridal party picture session and groomsmen had to pay re-entry parking pass for him to come back in to the park. On 5/14/21, while in Hawaii, received a call confirming airport pickup for that night (5/14/21.) Advised the caller (Page) the reservation was for 5/15. He said he would check and cancel the 5/14 reservation. The next thing I received was an email cancelling the ENTIRE reservation, with a "personal note" that no cars were available for the following night. I attempted to phone numerous times, sent several texts (including the original booking info for the 15th, and sent several emails. No one bothered to respond. When I checked my account, the service was charged on 5/11/21. To date there has been no refund and I cannot reach anyone at the company. Luckily, Rockstar Limo saved the day! They went out of their way to locate a vehicle that could pick us up at the requested date and time and even met us at the baggage pick up at no extra charge (American Luxury charges extra.) read more
