They sent me inside and the man I spoke to on the phone took a look and we had a loose/unscrewed connector. He also said you cannot over fill the tanks we have. Bruce is just ok, but after 4 yrs of always paying for my propane and the ridiculous price of a "maintenance fee", he had the nerve to call me while I was out of town a few months ago telling me he was "concerned" with him not receiving my payment in full. This was during the government shutdown in which I wasn't working, and I was sending Bruce payments. He acted as if I didn't have other bills. Bruce wasn't rude, but was very condescending. It was a bizarre conversation. Jump to last night, March 2026, we had a power outage, and temps were plunging down below freezing again. The only heat I had available was my propane fireplace, however the remote or something was not allowing the fireplace to turn on. So I called for someone to take a look. I was charged over $150 for a remote!!! So I sent Reliable an email, and I honestly don't know what's going on with Sandra, because she has been extremely rude and unprofessional in the email thread and put words in my mouth, things I never even said. I have email proof of our transactions. And she somehow called me rude for asking why I was charged $150 for a remote. I was told by the technician, Weston, that the decision just came down today to start charging for remotes. So that's what I brought up to Sandra. So either the tech didn't know what he was talking about or Sandra is just in the habit of being defensive. Her reply was snarky and sarcastic. "Well, didn't you ask for a new remote?", which I did not. I also believe Reliable propane charges more than anyone else in the area, so look elsewhere for your sanity and your wallet. Reliable nickels and dimes their customers. Any notion I had of possibly staying with them has been irreparably damaged by Sandra. She is one of the most unprofessional, snarkiest and rudest people you'll ever come across. Any other boss would've fired her for how she talks to customers. I WILL be keeping my $150 remote though.

I contacted the McCurtain County Propane business to fill my cabin's propane tank. The propane…read moredriver (Ronny) had to do a pressure test to confirm there was not a leak. Unfortunately there was a leak and I was told he was putting a red tag on tank and it would have pass a pressure check before the filling. The next day I discovered the propane had been shut off. I called Ronny and asked why didn't he tell me. He told me it was policy to turn it off but never explained why I was not told. Later I got a charge for the trip out even thou we bought the propane from McCurtain County Propane. I got a text message that a charge was put on my card but was again not told there was a charge. The company appears to have trouble communication. The propane deliverer that did the actual delivery was very good - if you use this company ask for Larry.
