I got bids from five tree services to trim two trees and these guys were the highest by far. 2.5x…read morehigher than the second highest bid. They do a lot of advertising so I guess that's where a lot of it goes. Also there's extra cost of having a person just for giving estimates. Downsides could be details not conveyed to the crew or having to explain it again. On the plus side, they were available fairly quickly. Or is that a bad thing? I guess if you have an emergency and need tree work done right away and money is not a priority, give them a call. But if you have time, always get multiple quotes and check their insurance and licenses, don't just trust their word.

Kudos to Ivester Tree, LLC. I had a small job - removing a juniper that was planted 21 years ago. I…read morewas afraid my project was too small for a company like Ivester to even worry about. But I was wrong, in fact, because it was small they were able to fit me in at the end of another project when they had a few minutes left at the end of a day. I had tried removing the juniper with my small 40v chainsaw and realized quickly that it was going to take me hours and then it would be a real pain to get rid of the cut shrub. I had 2 tall aspen suckers that came up in the middle of the juniper. I was going to try to save the aspens; however, once the juniper was expertly cut away from around those aspens, the trees didn't have the trunk strength to hold the trees upright. So the aspens had to go too. I was amazed watching the young man carefully remove the juniper branches from around the aspens without hurting the aspens. The other thing that complicated the removal - when Xfinity burried my cable, they took it through the middle of the juniper so Ivester's crew had to be careful to not cut my cable while they were chainsawing the rest of the juniper. They were great! The young man using the chainsaw is quite skilled. About a year ago, I watched them take out a large tree next to my neighbor's house. It was amazing how they were able to take down such a tall tree without damaging the house or the fence. I highly recommend Ivester Tree, LLC. The staff is very personable. For me, good customer service is as important as quality work and with Ivester Tree I got both. Thanks Ivester Tree, LLC. You guys are the best!

I had a poor silver maple that was infested with burrowing insects, broken limbs, discolored…read moreleaves, and on top of that a Virginia Creeper that had started to take over the left side of it. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed. Happily, I left the worry to Arbor Services and not only did they trim my tree, but also found the pesky insects nest and disposed of it, drilled 50 holes in my ground to add needed supplements, and even called the city to add some insight on how to cut the tree in the future since it's near some power lines. They did all of this and for that amount of work, I was thinking they would say a cost that would make even Scrooge's mouth water, but it ended up being fair and was a great value! I am definitely hoping to work with them again in the future! They are neighborly, professional, and efficient. I would definitely recommend them!

Aaron at Arbor Services was by far the most knowledgeable person we spoke with. He let us know what we were dealing with, what the city needed to take care of and what he could do for us. He got us scheduled right away and our trees look great. He was easy to communicate with and very friendly. He even told us about his time working with the city and trimming the Sycamores along the side of our house. He really understand trees and how to best care for and maintain them. Aaron's price was very reasonable and much less than most of the other quotes we received. We are happy with the service he offered and he left our yard looking great.
