Everything was so good! Spence was our guide at the Silver Springs location. He was knowledgeable about all the local wildlife. He was professional and friendly with our group. We saw manatees, monkeys, alligators, lots of birds, butterflies,fish and tons of turtles. This activity would be good for pretty much anyone that is able to be moderately active. We are in our 50's and I wouldn't say in peak physical health. LoL but it was easy and relaxing while getting a great workout. Highly recommended read more

Said they had dock damage from Tropical Storm Debby, and blamed Viator for not 'informing them they had a booking." Viator does not operate this way, and did inform the tour operator about the booking. They knew they had damage from Debby for over a week, yet didnt bother to check whether they had bookings. They cancelled at the very last minute, and we were unable to book something else to do. Appears to be a very shoddy and disorganized business, I would stay away. read more

Since I live nearby and ground shipping is only 1 day, I expected I would receive it by the end of the week. Nope. On Monday 6/19 I shot them an email asking about "Order Status?". Today is 6/25, no response to email, no tracking number as promised. I was forced to file a dispute with Paypal and was able to get my money back from my bank. Even if you do not have an encounter with wildlife, you will have the most remarkable 2 hours on this tour! I have never paddle boarded before and was a bit apprehensive, however with excellent instruction, absolutely no problem, whatsoever! In fact, I was considering buy one of their quality boards... Actually, still am (Black Friday.) We saw areas of Daytona we never would have seen, had we not taken this tour. Everyone paddles at their own speed however no one is ever left behind. We also learned a little bit of Daytona History (re: the ball park to the hand-made murals.) The weather was SO hot, however we stayed SO cool paddling around. We even got to go for a swim. Amazing surf shop and paddle tour experience in the Daytona Beach area. When it starts off, you pull up to an unassuming surf shop across from a park, in a strip of small shops. It is not a standard strip mall, more like a strip of mom and pop shops in a beachy area. As you walk in, there is everything you think you would find in a surf shop. Boards on the left, accessories on the right, apparel in the middle, with sun bum sunscreen and sunglasses throughout the store. The shop person, Dan, was very friendly and welcoming as well. I was there to buy a paddle board and go on a tour. The tour was led by Dan as well. You drive over to the dock area, and launch from there. Parking is free. Our tour was small, and we did not see manatees, but we did see dolphins, and some jacks going nuts. The weather was perfect, and the tour lasted a little over 2 hours. Dan was very friendly, attentive, and aware of our group. He made sure everyone was getting the hang of it, and was always willing to help. After we got back to the store, I picked up a few things, loaded up my board and headed home. The experience was wonderful, and could not ask for anything more from a tour or surf shop. They obviously cannot control if you see wildlife, but they are on the lookout the whole time and try to make sure you have a great experience. Our group of five had a really great time despite the thunderstorm 90% of the tour. We saw a couple of dolphins, but not much other than that which could be due to the storm. Our tour guide, Spencer, was well informed and easy going which made the experience less intimidating for first timers. We did the 1030 tour today with Tiffany and had a great time! Tiffany is very personable, laid back and professional. The boards are easy to use and the instruction was good. We had a nice and challenging trip out to a small island, came back under bridges and even saw dolphins swimming in the inlet. Gotta check this place out. They make their own paddle boards! We went out for a 10:30 am tour and our guide was really funny. We stayed entertained through the entire adventure. We didn't see much wildlife but the bridge views were awesome. It was nearly a 2 hour tour and we came back just in time to miss the afternoon rain. They offer kayaks for anyone not comfortable paddle-boarding. Lots of fun. And! The guide took photos of every participant and texted them to us. Would go again. Really appreciate the photo and experience. I will say paddle boarding on the waves is nothing like on the lake. Be ready for a lesson in humility. read more

The guys in the shop were very helpful and enthusiastic, they told us all about the dolphin pod they had been seeing, how manatees like to suck on the back of your board or throw a fin up on the board, and about sea turtles they had seen recently. our tour guide was knowledgeable about the area. We didn't see any dolphins or manatees or turtles on our tour. My son is 11 and had a hard time keeping up with the group, so at times we were far behind the pack and couldn't hear much of what the guide was saying. I know a sightings can't be guaranteed when you are dealing with nature but I would suggest a discounted second tour or some sort of incentive to try it again especially since the guy in the shop talked it up so much. read more

From my check-in with Dan who has incredible energy for 8 am, to Jacob my instructor who is very attentive, understanding, and motivating. I booked a tour, received a email confirmation to arrive 30 minutes early on 12/31/21. Arrived 30 minutes early but the store was locked and there was a note on the door that said they were short staffed & running 30 minutes late & to come back with a suggestion to check out the coffee shop next door. We were not up for coffee so we went for a walk & came back 30 minutes later the sign was now off the door and the lights were still off and door locked. I called no answer. I waited another 45 minutes to see if someone showed up or a phone call back. Nothing we left. Was so disappointed because we planned the day around this and drove out an hour to get there and waited there over an hour. The next day I was at the beach anyway. So I booked another tour (this was last minute right before it started) received a email confirmation but again no one at the location where my email confirmation said to be. I sent several emails. Never a response so I disputed both charges on my credit card. Still on-going dispute with credit card charge a month later. Not a good experience, no response from them. I've paddled regularly in the Orlando area since July, but this was my first time visiting Daytona and we were fortunate to just walk by the shop Saturday after seeing a sign on the sidewalk and lucky to sign up for a guided tour. Even though I go out several times a week and would be considered more of an experienced paddler, it was very nice to go out with a group and guide who is knowledgeable of the area. My experience didn't match up with the other reviews but it is because our experience was a good reminder that wild animals can't be controlled. Our disappointment came because it seemed like it was a given we would see dolphins or manatees "Best Dolphin & Manatee tour in FL" on the 2 hr paddle board trip but we didn't see anything. Supposedly that is not normal so hopefully your luck will be better. Our 9 year old road along with my wife and the 13 and 11 year old did great on their own board for the entire trip. I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 for 2 reasons 1. I suggest that the team sets the bar low or advertises differently so when you do see a dolphin or manatee it is a bonus. Or if the wildlife isn't out you keep paddling instead of just sitting on the island for 30 mins. 2. Our guide was a college student and wasn't the brightest or hasn't received proper training yet. He was running around verbally stating how stressed he was trying to get our group of 20 set up vs. welcoming us all. He left a large part of the group behind where they were yelling for our group to wait up. He just needed go slower until everyone got the hang of it. This is silly but a styrofoam cup blew off his board and tried quickly to reach for it but let it float off after one attempt. Which was even more odd because he told me he is going to school for Environmental Biology. I still feel guilty I didn't go after the cup myself. He was nice just needs a little more training. Maybe if one of the more proven guides did a ride along with him that would help. AND I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 stars for 2 reasons 1. The equipment was super nice. Considering buying a set for the family. 2. The manager Dan was awesome. He was great with names and our kids. He would be an awesome guide if you get him! read more

Purchased a Jason Ryan and a Red Rail a couple of weeks ago. Customer service was incredible- especially since they had been hit with the hurricane. Really great group of people to deal with. I'm located in So. Cal and they made it very easy for me to look at the boards at their So Cal warehouse before purchase. The guys at the warehouse were super helpful and accommodating. Went on the paddle board tour and it was so awesome! Seth was super cool and was really good at giving us instructions to paddle boarding as it was our first time. My mom has a bad knee and he helped her and showed her a good way to get up and she did it her first try! On the tour Seth made sure to show us where to go so he could hang in the middle and help anyone or chat with everyone in the group(about 15 of us). Seth was really knowledgeable about the sea life around Florida i think he mentioned he went to school for marine biology so that was cool learning unique things about manatees and dolphins. We got to see a cool part of Daytona and went under bridges and by boats, and for the best part... we hung out with a manatee! He popped up pretty close to us and just kept coming up and saying hi for probably half an hour. My sister even got to touch him. This was definitely the highlight of our entire vacation which is saying a lot because we did a ton of things over 8 days but this took the cake! There are some pros, though mostly cons (unfortunately) to the bamboo SUP that I have now had for 1 season. The pros: 1. Beautiful looking boards 2. Reliable customer service (my first board was delivered damaged, so I refused shipment as instructed and a received a replacement board 3-4 weeks later, disappointing, but glad it was handled without too much hassle). The cons: 1. Quality 2. Quality 3. Quality: What I didn't appreciate when I ordered this board was just how poorly it's constructed (note the lack of construction details on their website). In a nutshell, a board should not be compressible using your finger and thumb. Three Brothers SUPs are very compressible and has resulted in dents even with the slightest of 'dings'. The paint chips incredibly easily and I am very cautious with my board, always using the padded bag during any transport. It also delaminates easily (the bamboo bubbles) after a long drive in the summer with the board up top (and in the bag). Lastly, I have significant heal dents (divots from standing) after 3 months of use. I contacted Three Brothers for that latter two issues, and though they apologized, no warranty/action was taken on their part. I've also shown to the board to a couple of local SUP shops and they just shook their heads in disappointment. This board is so damaged from simple open water use, I couldn't sell it if I wanted to. For the price you can do sooooo muuuuch better. I'd check out Boga Boards (or any other for that matter). read more
