Super cute spot! Parking is difficult over here so you will have to walk a few blocks. Surprisingly a LOT of stuff in this small store. I called and ordered a birthday cake for same day- luckily they squeezed me in! The cake was like $45 which I didn't think was too expensive. It was definitely too much cake for one dog, we threw half of it out. They were helpful in guiding me through the store but seemed disappointed that all I got was the cake. They always have a huge selection of healthy, tasty, and fresh dog treats that my shih tzu absolutely LOVES!!! The staff is also always friendly and eager to help. The store is small but has so many great, food and dog accessory selections. My favorite part of this bakery is that it feels like an actual bakery. When you walk in, it smells good and if you didn't know it was a dog bakery, you'd think the bakery treats could be for humans! They always change up their bakery designs and flavors. At least every year on my dog's birthday or anytime I'm in the area, I stop by. The prices are also very reasonable for freshly baked goods and if you have any questions about how long the treats last, just ask the staff. As Yelp may or may not know, this house got a new pup and we are kinda obsessed. My coworker told me about a little place in Highlands called Three Dog Bakery and my dog being my child, he is definitely a dessert lover. The space is a bit small, so not the best for social distancing, especially when curious pups are involved. But the staff was fabulous and they have a TON of pet goods from their fresh baked desserts to toys, pet gear, and prepackaged dog food. One main reason we went in also was because they have a DIY pet wash station. They only have one, so it's first come first served, but for $17 you can take your pet to a private room with a heavy duty fiberglass Ultralift elevating wash that can carry up to 250lbs. They have a harness in case your pup is prone to jumping out, free smelly good dog shampoo and even some extra post-wash sprays to keep their coat shiny and smelling extra good. Hair dryer and towels also provided. After a nice bath, we chose some super cute and very delicious looking scratch-made goods slow-baked using only simple ingredients with no sugar or salt! They had cakes and soft cookies as along with some biscuit, hard treats. Got a little bit of both and our little guy loved it all. We loved this little shop and will definitely be back soon especially for a puppy birthday! They make celebration treats too. read more

Unfortunate to leave this review but I hope it helps as constructive criticism. We placed an order online nearly 1 week before pick up. They called us the day after during work hours to retrieve payment (first of all, is it the 1990s that payment cannot be completed online?) Anyway, we couldn't contact them and call the day after and left a message. They didn't reach out until the day after again during work hours. We finally get a hold of them and they claim their "system had a glitch and didn't show the order details." Long story short, I get a bunch of excuses why they cannot fulfill the order 2 days PRIOR to pick up, including; it was my own fault for not returning their call (which I did as a matter of fact...TWICE), they are slammed, they are not planning to bake the flavor we ordered, and of course their faulty system. Finally, I get bombarded with options that we did not want, which actually felt very pushy (as other reviews have already mentioned). I felt I was at a car dealership and struggled to end the call. They just couldn't accept our "thank you but we are no longer interested." My advice, tone down the car salesman talk, and fix and upgrade to an online payment system to avoid issues like this. Invest in your business to increase sales but also to save headaches to potential customers instead of relying on technology (telephone) that was invented back in the 1800s. read more

Yes, I'm the crazy dog lady that made my friends stop so I could get something for my two huskies. You can get the essentials here (food) as well as the extras in the window. My dogs are picky eaters, and the first time I picked up some iced biscuits, they were skeptical. The next time I got something fancier, coated with pumpkin or carob. They were in LOVE!! I'm sure other dog pawrents can relate... I will dump all my savings into spoiling these little monsters. And happy to support a small local business. I keep forgetting there's a bath here too. For a boutique spot, their prices are very reasonable, and they have a rewards program too. Parking can be tough to come by in this neighborhood, and the bakery has specific hours, but I'd go out of my way and make it a whole outing. Lots of great restaurants and bars nearby! read more

Went in to let our Doberman pick out a couple of treats and a toy. Was offered unsolicited veterinary advice from the blonde worker behind the counter. She tried to tell me that my dog was not actually at risk for a heart condition in which we have talked to our vet about extensively and have even seen a specialist for. This all stemmed from her asking me what type of food we fed her even though we were not there to purchase food in the first place. She also corrected me on the name of the food that we get our dog even though I said the correct name. She actually corrected me with the wrong name. And then proceeded to tell me that if I am confused about what food I was feeding our dog that I could go home and do more research and then call and order the food over the phone once I've figured it out. I didn't even go to that store with the intentions of buying our dog food in the first place, so this was all quite unnecessary in my opinion and put a very bad taste in my mouth. I may have considered ordering her food there in the future had I not been made to feel belittled and unintelligent by the staff. I've been there many times before and have never been treated like that. I am so confused because I have had nothing but great experiences there prior to this interaction. We truly were minding our business and being pleasant so I have no clue what solicited her to treat me like that. Super disappointing. read more

We had such a great experience coming here! The girls working there are so kind and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. My pup loved her birthday cake, she got a 5" round peanut butter flavor and definitely tried to eat the slice we gave her in one bite lol. Glad a place like this exists. My dog loved the cake, but didn't like I was treated at the store. I ordered a cake online and went to pick it up. It was Super Bowl Sunday, so they let me know they were closing earlier and wanted me to pick up early. Okay, no problem. When I arrived, I let the owner know that I was just picking up a cake. She started going off on all the stuff her store offered and I politely interrupted her with "oh, I don't need anything else today, just picking up the cake." She goes "okay...well it's going to take some time for me to box the cake up, so I'm just telling you about what have." She then proceeded to give me a lengthy walk through of everything her store had to offer. I get it if she's doing this to take up time while some else is boxing up the cake, but she didn't start boxing up the cake until she finished her pitch. She just talked at me with zero regard for my time. I want to add that I had already paid for the cake in advance, so I don't understand the reasoning for treating customers like this. I wasn't just randomly browsing. I just stood next to the counter and waited. She kept giving me weird looks like I was obligated to look around and buy something else, instead of just waiting. She then asked " does you dog like bones? We have bones over in that corner over there." I ended up also getting a collar and and a birthday hat because I felt so awkward. Three Dog is amazing!! We special order our food through them every week, and Finn loves the lickity-split, and all the other homemade treats! Their brand of jerky is healthy and great for our boy, and in the back they sell shampooing dog wipes that we are always stocked up on! We even ordered Finns 1st birthday cake from them and had a dog party! The dogs gobbled it down and it was a blast being able to give them a fun dog friendly treat! I absolutely fell in love with this place when I found it on Yelp, while looking for a bakery to make my puppy's first birthday cake (yes, I'm one of those dog moms.. but so are you if you're on here looking, too! haha). I was able to customize my cake online in about 2 minutes and then I received a phone call the next day from an amazingly fun lady (whose name escapes me), to go over my order and make sure everything was correct before taking my payment. I am really bummed I was unable to be the one to go in and pick up the cake, but my husband said it was a super cute bakery and he wants to go back again soon, because Lucy had a great time picking out treats for her birthday party.
