Despite not providing a diagnosis, I was still charged for the time spent driving the vehicle, which also used some of my fuel. I understand that intermittent vehicle issues can be difficult to diagnose, but I believe customer service could have been handled better in this situation. A diagnosis is the primary service I came in for, and since no diagnosis was provided, I don't feel the charge was justified. A more customer-focused approach would have been to explain that the issue could not be reproduced at the time and suggest returning if the problem became more frequent or asking me to record the sound when it occurred. That would have demonstrated honesty and a genuine effort to help resolve the issue.

I haven't seen the car for a year when I literally just called him 10 minutes prior he did not know I was on the line. Listening at that point I called him back and asked if he even wanted to do the work all of a sudden, the call was escalated to the point. He hung up on me. I called him back and asked him exactly what the deal was. And he says he doesn't want to do a bunch of work that he's not gonna get paid for and I said, who told you, you weren't gonna get paid. So finally, we get to the place where he says that he's not going to work on my car because he could not sleep at night. Knowing that the air conditioner would cost more than the car's worth. But he can sleep perfectly fine knowing that I have to drive a car without air conditioning make that makes sense, and it only took a year to get that answer.
