Love the ambiance and the decor! Everything here is amazing. Basically my family and I have been waiting a few years to come here! We kept passing as we went to our Woodloch stay but in times my wife was pregnant sooooo I want able to attend.... well this year we made it. Very happy to be here and at this time I am still here enjoying the wine. It was so amazing I had to do as I'm sipping. This experience is so beautiful. I actually am finally enjoying myself on this vacation as some different point of view. My first summer. Always have been here in the winter but I am having a great time... well I really kept looking at all the construction inside and was very much appreciated. I hate going in places and seeing something that should have been different. Dave is an amazing knowledgeable wine MASTER. Thank you for the tasting or the port wine. If you're in the Lackawaxen area, this is a must! We went in the winter and the grounds were beautiful covered in snow but I'd like to come back when it's warmer to experience their outdoor set up. They have really great tastings for all palettes and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I went with my brothers, sister, and our spouses for a wine tasting at this gem of a winery on a random Tuesday afternoon while on a siblings week on Lake Wallenpaupack. We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting with Dave who was very knowledgable as he is the wine maker. He had terrific stories and the wines were superb! We tasted 5 wines and had a couple glasses on the property while enjoying the views. We left with several bottles of various Reds and Whites to enjoy back home. Hands down the best winery I've ever been to, and I've been to a heck of a lot of wineries. The tasting was only $8, free with a purchase of two bottles of wine, and not only do you get to taste their amazing wine selection you get to keep the glass! The wines themselves were extremely tasty. This is the first time I've ever been able to taste the notes in the wine. Each flavor is extremely prominent but in a good way! The gentleman that did our tasting was very knowledgeable and entertaining. & now on to the cheeses... oh my gosh the cheeses!! They were to die for. They were all local and each one had a wine to pair. All and all I highly recommend this place. It's a beautiful place to sit outside and enjoy nature... with wine and cheese!! The wine and location is great but by far the best is the Syrah (just ran out in June/July 2020 but back again in the fall). Paying $40 for a bottle of wine is typically something I don't do (usually keep it under $30 or less) but this is well worth it. The grounds are relaxing and the staff is treat. I have passed this location for years, never notice what was at this location. Thank God three hammers have only be there for two years. Upon driving in you are greeted by a employee showing you where to park, then you walk to meet another employee waiting to greet you and take your order. I sat and the waiter comes and pours my selection sweet wine. Great scenery to company a great selection of sweet wine. Amazing place for a special event! I visited the winery in August with 10 girls for a bachelorette party and we booked a 90 minute private tasting (~$50 per person) in their cozy farmhouse, which included a dedicated server (we got the owner Rob!), tasting of six wines and charcuterie board pairing. This was one of the most intimate and unique tasting rooms I've visited. The Rathauskeller is a beautifully appointed basement cellar with many wooden furnishings that Rob crafted himself, including the bespoke wine barrel table. There's a huge emphasis on locally produced and crafted goods, including their wine varieties. Three Hammers Winery easily has the most fantastic charcuterie spread I've ever seen at a wine tasting. It's a cornucopia of locally made crackers, wine-inspired cheese spreads, fresh fruits, fig jam, olives, cornichons, dried fruits, nuts, cheese and meats. A little something for everyone! Highly recommend booking a tasting at Three Hammers next time you're in the Poconos. read more

First time here. We came on the 4th of July. What a beautiful winery. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. We did the wine samples. You get 4 wine samples for only $8. Great deal. Your allowed to walk the grounds and you can sit and eat outside if you want as well. Beautiful photo opportunities. They have events every Saturday. Check out their website. Beautiful place, great live music. Unwelcoming staff (or owners?) looks like they live on the property, so perhaps owners. Just rude and no sense of hospitality. Maybe they saw that we are from the city and they're afraid of Covid germs (which I've tested negative 4 times for, but obviously they wouldn't have known that.) Aside from the man who greets you- he is great, the others took no pride in what they're doing. Or maybe they just lack manners? I had a funny experience that I would never have in the city: I bought a $4 cookie for my son that literally broke in half as I was paying for it, and I wanted to exchange it for a whole- and they didn't let me. Cheap, petty, disgusting. I had to tell my 4 year old child the cookie is a puzzle . Left a bad taste in my mouth. And let me tell you- when we go places we don't take advantage of space, we buy lots of food, we got 2 bottles of wine, we tipped the usual 20% and gave $5 to the live musician. These people with their bad attitudes just grossed me out. read more

Went here recently and loved it. My friends and I had a great time. The cheese and wine outside on a nice day is amazing. There is a nature trail over the little bridge in the back and it's a short walk and very enjoyable. The trail goes into the woods and around the lake. We brought a glass of wine and walked it. My husband and I happened upon this amazing winery on a random drive to PA. This was an unforgettable visit. First, the grounds are gorgeous. We absolutely enjoyed the views from the Adirondack chairs - the wine was delish(my fave being the Riesling). The service we received from Justin was impeccable! The wine tasting was very thorough and Justin was very knowledgeable. We spent the afternoon enjoying the grounds and ended up keeping warm around the fire pit which was perfect. I must say, as I watched patrons come and go, the staff was sure to disinfect everything. I observed everything being sanitized and cleaned thoroughly after guests left and the care taken while they were there was even more amazing. I can't wait to return here. read more

We spent an amazing July 3rd Sunday afternoon there. The wine tasting was for two flights of 4 samples each and gave an idea of the very good wines they are producing. Afterwards, we enjoyed a walk through the meticulously maintained property, along the creek, listened to live music, watched patrons play cornhole and sat down to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. She was rude to our party from the moment we pulled up in the parking lot. She treated us like we were an inconvenience and was trying to get rid of us. We fell in love with Three Hammers the first time we went there. It is such a warm and welcoming location with great people and delicious wine. We live about 2.5 hours away but were planning a wedding at Woodloch which meant we were up in the area a lot. Every trip we made up to the area we made a point of stopping for a glass of wine and to restock with "a few" bottles of wine to hold us over till our next visit. The staff is always very friendly. The owners were always welcoming and very happy to show us around and share their story with us. We ended up falling in love with the property so much that we spoke to Rob and Christine (the owners) about having our first look for our wedding on their property and I am so happy we did. We could not have asked for a better backdrop for our first look. After we finished with our moment, Rob came over to say hi and congratulate us. What a great place to visit! Had the tasting( sweet and dry). Chris was knowledgeable without being arrogant as they are at other wineries. Lovely grounds, very nice wine bar. We stopped by for wine and cheese after social distancing at Lake Wallenpaupack. It was a beautiful day, one of the first of their re-opening. We sat outside on a beautiful lawn on a gorgeous day for a wine and cheese sampling. The local cheeses were delicious, I highly recommend the cheddar especially. My husband and I ordered the rosé and the merlot which were both excellent. Being from upstate NY, I'm not a fan of northeastern reds but the merlot was amazing! A little sweeter than I normally drink but nicely complex and nothing like the light reds we usually get from NY. Apparently they get their grapes from all over the states and mix them at the winery. The service was excellent - everyone in masks, tables appropriately far apart, cleaned as soon as guests departed and everyone was so nice. The grounds were beautiful with a small pond and trail through the woods to explore. I am so impressed, we will definitely be back! read more
