My flight...a honey wheat, saison, pumpkin ale, and English cider
    Larissa J.

We were driving from Maryland to New Hampshire and wanted to take a longer route so that we missed all the city traffic and we were so excited to find this cute brewery. It was off the beaten path but they were extremely nice! The brewery is owned owned by a Ukrainian American couple who has been brewing for years - the husband is a fan of al the science that goes into brewing and has been experimenting with different recipes and flavors. They are also known for using local farm ingredients in their brews. You can do flights, pints, or growlers. They don't bottle or can yet and you can't find them in restaurants yet but they have a tasty product and an adorable location. We sat inside and chatted with the nephews of the owners who help out whenever they can! But you can sit outside on nice days...there are picnic tables and lots of land for outdoor games and activities! If you're driving through town, I say stop by and get a pint!

We loved the beer at Shrewd Fox and the service was also so friendly and warm. We met the owner's wife, she was really nice and helpful. Even though it's chilly it was great to drink our beer in the rustic backyard (they don't have indoor seating). Really great beer and great service. Totally safe during covid too

My friends and I were in town for New Years and saw that the brewery was OPEN and immeadiatly pulled in. Excellent decision! This place has AMAZING beer! We had two flights and tried every beer. Some highlights are the Yulan Honey Wheat, Loch Ada Amber, and the Kozak Porter is exquisite. We even bought a growler to take home. Check this place out if you're in the area. It's small, inexpensive, and delicious! Great spot

This is a cool low-key brewery up in the Catskills where you can kick back with friends and enjoy good beer. From about a selection of 8 beers that they make, my favorite was the De Venoge Farmhouse Ale. The place is relatively small and fits only around 10 people. Unfortunately, we came on a rainy day where there was no inside seating available. However, there is pretty seating outside with picnic tables & umbrellas that's ideal for a sunny day.

Found this great little Brewery and they have amazing beer and amazing staff!! The owners were sooooo friendly, very insightful. I definitely recommend this place if your in the area.

Very friendly place. I enjoyed the honey wheat, and the porter was excellent. The website shows a beer, deck and lake - this place is not on a lake. They did have outdoor seating and a corn hole game. I sat at the indoor bar and chatted with the friendly owners.

Great little place. Nice outdoor area. They were out of a number of beers on Sunday so didn't get the full tasting assortment.

We were super happy that they are indoor dog friendly (well behaved/ leashed dogs only! ) The beer was great. I loved Tommy Boy Farmhouse Ale and Amber Waves Amber Ale. We ended up buying a 4 pack of each to bring home with us. I was so pleasantly surprised by their BBQ offerings. It is very easy to mess up BBQ, but this BBQ was so wonderfully prepared. I have been to so many breweries and BBQ joints that serve dried out, over-sauced meat. The offerings from Smok'd were all excellent. During our first visit we ordered the brisket sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. The brisket was super juicy and tender. The pulled pork was also juicy and tender. They offered BBQ sauce on the side if we wanted. During our second visit, we sat in the vault. This brewery is in a location that was formerly a bank. The vault was a nice secluded spot. We ordered the ribs and brisket with street corn salad, mac and cheese, and beans. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the brisket had a beautiful smoke ring. The mac and cheese was super creamy and had a wonderful taste of childhood. It was perfect for a day that had a -23F windchill. Overall, great beer, great food, and great staff. We really enjoyed our time here. I love a great dog friendly brewery! We will definitely return when in the area!

I had a sandwich which I think was brisket, very good. Guess I should have done the first review that day but didn't. Narrowsburg can be kind of disappointing sometimes, so we don't hang in the town too much, but this place stands out. Open late but we prefer afternoons. Literally a few steps from the public parking area. We absolutely will go back. I have a couple of photos but can't find them right now.

The brewery itself is so pretty! The bartender was very nice and she gave us great suggestions, as we'd never been there before. I opted for the sour they had on draft (I believe it was Forbidden Fruit) and my boyfriend had a few different kinds, the Devil's Path and Grass Wagon being two of them. We purchased a t shirt, a glass, and a tap handle for our home collection. I wish places like this were closer to home for us (just shy of three hours away) but at the same time, it makes for a great getaway location.

We had a packed itinerary for the day, but this was directly in our sights so we had to stop in. Just up the road from the main drag through Livingston Manor, it's got a working-farm vibe with updated and sleek equipment. There was no hesitation from the bartender to fold us right into the action, and I'm not a painter, but it was really fun for me to step outside my comfort zone and get crafty while enjoying the company of some really cool people. We had our complimentary pour along with the paint and sip price, and I remember the Oktoberfest (fiance got the sour) being a great, hearty, fall classic that set the tone for the rest of our busy day. They have a nice selection of gear at their gift shop, and their logo'd brown striped retro beanie is on my head as we speak; it's my favorite winter hat. I rarely buy merch while on vacation, for a variety of reasons, but the price was right on most of their items out for display.

The taproom inside feels cozy, and the two young women working were super sweet about getting us samples and drinks. Get the Endless Summer! It's a light, refreshing beer with the perfect hints of cucumber and watermelon and it is absolute heaven on a hot day. The lime lager was also excellent. We took our drinks and went out to the patio area under the tent where they were doing the pizza vending. There was a nice vibe in the air: a mix of folks and ages, but everyone just chilling and having a fun time. Bugs weren't too bad! The outdoor pizza set up is John's of Arthur Ave, which we have always had as to-go, but wow, they are bringing their A-game here with the outdoor ovens! The pizzas are INSANELY GOOD! Like, Razza-style impressive. We were seriously blown away because it's nothing like what we've had in the past from there. We ordered their white pie with ricotta and the "Bronx Bomber." DAMN. Perfect char and chew on the dough, and while we know that the ricotta on the first pie wasn't homemade, it practically tasted it. The BB pizza was outrageously delicious as well: loved the meat and banana peppers with the hot honey, which we're normally not a fan of, but it was perfect here. Cannot say enough good things about the pizza! Overall, a wonderful visit despite a heated conversation about world events at our table! Four very happy stars and we hope to have just as good of a visit next time, which will hopefully be soon.
