Excellent, well run gym. Friendly staff. Big workout area and lots of machines. Only negative are the small locker rooms.

This gym has its pros and cons. I've been coming here for about 2 years now, and I can say I've…read morebeen a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of this gym since certain people have quit working there. Some machines have been broken for a long time that should have been fixed or replaced a long time ago. That being said, some of the staff is so amazing! There's some very kind and friendly people that work there, having small talk sometimes turns into an hour long conversation, and I've made some friends with staff. This is a great beginner gym, and for only $10 or $25 a month it's a great option but there are better options out there for sure.

Disappointing Experience at Planet Fitness…read more I've never felt more unwelcome at a gym than I did at Planet Fitness. After working hard and getting into a good rhythm, I was *kicked out* for... breathing too loudly? Seriously? I get that they want to maintain a "judgment-free" zone, but apparently that doesn't apply to the people who actually put in effort during their workouts. Instead of focusing on creating an encouraging environment for people who are there to improve themselves, they seem more interested in policing how people breathe. It's ridiculous. There are plenty of other gyms that respect hard work and don't treat you like a nuisance for simply trying to exercise. I won't be returning and would recommend others think twice before signing up! I also was not outwardly loud, I could understand if it was drastically louder but it was just a final grunt as I finished my set. Again. Very much acts against a judgement free gym. I felt very judged and uncomfortable.

I cannot say enough good things about Matt and Crossfit Confidence. I consider myself to be a…read morebetter than average gym go-er with respect to strength and fitness, and always laughed at the crossfit Kool-Aid. However, I have felt that something is missing. My wife Joined Crossfit Confidence in February 2014 and finally got me to try it out in May 2014. Crossfit Confidence has been that missing piece of my fitness regime. Specifically the owner, Matt Pantze. Matt is a trainer, a teacher, a coach, and a much needed experienced second opinion on everything to do with health and fitness. I have only been going to Crossfit Confidence for one month and I can say I am in the best overall shape I've been in years. My conditioning is better, and I've lost ten lbs thanks to great nutritional advice. Crossfit Confidence isn't the Kool-Aid drinking balls to the wall cult I used to think crossfit was all about. It's a great place to get healthy and to meet some really quality people. Matt is quickly building a team/family atmosphere with a group of fun people ranging from average joes to one nationally ranked shot putter. Here are some quick pros and cons: Cons: --Classes are early morning or afternoon only, no midday classes. Yet. --Cost relative to traditional gyms; if you are only looking for weight machines, you can find that elsewhere for cheaper --Parking, sometimes you will have to park across the street/in another parking lot. Not that big of a deal to me, but some people might find it inconvenient --Location. Not in the sense that it's hard to get to, or something like that. However, if you don't want to see a delicious pizza place or some other really good places to eat food that is not so good for your waistline, park in the back or show will power when you're done working out Pros: --Atmosphere. Like I said above, Matt is building a great team/family atmosphere where we all encourage each other and all really enjoy working out together and look forward to the next workout --Happy hour workouts. The last Friday of every month we have a happy hour workout after which we have a few beers and grill your favorite animal or tofu ball if you're in to that sort of thing... --Personal training 6 days a week! I cannot express how great this really is. If you think about it in relation to my Con above about cost, you get a monthly membership that includes daily personal training for what it costs for 3 personal training sessions anywhere else. And it's fun. And he knows what he's doing. And it's fun. --Technically sound and safe place to work out. No pushing too hard and ignoring safe habits / technique here. Matt is quick to stop you if you are pushing yourself outside of the realm of injury free workouts. --Cost relative to other Crossfit gyms (even some less than ten miles away). Matt doesn't discount his services but he also doesn't price it so high that you really have to drink the kool-aid to see the value like other gyms --The owners. Matt and Maria are awesome. And fun.
