The rooms are your basic Residence Inn rooms. The staff is where the shortage is! - either they need training or replacing, they dont fit the Marriott Brand level of care I expect. They are slow to respond, play dumb in understanding simple requests, and dont deliver that "Marriott Brand" experience.

We got to our 3rd floor room and my key did not work. I went back down and got another. No apology. Went back up and that key did not work. Fortunately my wife's key did work and we got into the room. The room was ok except for the AC unit next to the bed which sounded like a 747 taking off every time it would start up. By then it was too late to change rooms and I had 0 confidence that the front desk person would be able to help us find another room. It was all an experience I hope to never repeat and I will avoid this property like the plague even though I travel through the area several times a year. Marriott definitely does not need angry employees serving customers, especially long term (over 40 years) loyal rewards members like me or anyone else.
