We were trying everything! Sitting him in a high hair Giving him ice cream Cutting it in the bathtub. Buying special clippers so they weren't so loud. Nothing was working. So we decided to try the barbershop. Taking him over a dozen times just to get him comfortable with his surroundings was one of the best decisions I made. This was the third time she cut his hair for him to finally feel comfortable enough and not to be scared. The cut took about 45 minutes, which was the shortest amount of time ever! From the moment we walked in, everyone was welcoming and kind--even though I'm sure they were ready to head home after a long day. What really stood out was the patience Obie had with my 6-year-old, who definitely doesn't sit still very well. He handled it like a pro and kept things calm and positive the whole time.
