I've been told about this place by all my coworkers for awhile now so I'm I decided to try it out tonight. I was very impressed with everything. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us very good advice on what to get since it was our first time there. She kept convincing us different directions to go since everything sounded so good. All the food was extremely good, and everyone had nothing but good things to say about literally everything on the table. Everything was surprisingly light for all the meat I ordered. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and everything tasted delicious. It was a bit pricy, but that's to be expected for the quality of the food. I highly recommend going here for anyone who wants a great Peruvian restaurant, and even those who don't know pervuian cuisine. read more

Hidden Gem in Aberdeen - Cuzco Delivers! If you ever find yourself in Aberdeen, South Dakota--or you're lucky enough to live here--you have to give Cuzco a try. This place is truly a hidden gem in a small but mighty town! We came in with a large group, and the staff handled everything flawlessly. The service was friendly and efficient, even with another big party of ten dining at the same time. Everyone looked happy and well taken care of. The food was amazing--you can tell the chef puts real passion into every dish. We ordered all the appetizers (minus the seafood ones for me due to an allergy), and the rest of the group said they were fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I went with the Ribeye, and wow--it was a huge portion, definitely big enough to share! It came with rice and potato wedges that were crispy, seasoned just right, and absolutely delicious. The rice was also cooked perfectly. Several others in our group ordered the Surf & Turf and the Picanha, and everyone raved about how good they were. And then... dessert! Hands down the best desserts I've had in Aberdeen. Do yourself a favor and try the lemon cake--it's incredible. All in all, Cuzco is a must-visit spot whether you're just passing through or looking for a great night out. The owner is friendly, welcoming, and truly cares about her customers. A HIDDEN GEM IN ABERDEEN!! Worth every bite!! As someone who travels frequently for business and hails from Las Vegas, NV--where world-class cuisine is around every corner--I'm not easily impressed when it comes to food. But coming to Cuzco in Aberdeen was an unexpected highlight of my trip. The experience started before I even landed. On the flight into Aberdeen, I struck up a conversation with a lovely woman named Maggie, who not only raved about this restaurant but turned out to be a hostess there as well. She made such a genuine recommendation that I had to give it a shot--and I'm so glad I did. We ordered the special of the night: a filet mignon with pasta, cooked medium rare. Let me tell you--it was spot-on perfect. The steak was soft, juicy, and just melted in my mouth. Truly one of the best steaks I've had outside a major metro. I'm also a sucker for soups, so I sampled both they had that evening. One was a shrimp-based soup, and the other--I believe--chicken. I can't remember the names, but both were rich, flavorful, and absolutely comforting. Now, I'm a cocktail guy. And the drinks? Spectacular. Balanced, creative, and clearly made by someone who knows what they're doing behind the bar. I wrapped up the evening with rice pudding topped with a special Peruvian sauce--sweet, silky, and delightful. I also tried their home-made tiramisu. It was soft, rich, and decadent, a perfect closer to what I can only call a splendiferous dinner. I want to give a big thank you to Luna and Maggie for their warmth and hospitality. They made me feel right at home, and that kind of service sticks with you. The Mango Loco and the Pisco Sour were yummy I work with a lot of foodies, and I already know Cuzco is going on my return list. Very nice restaurant close by to where I was staying in town. Im from Las Vegas, and I'm well traveled. That being said, the food was delicious. This may be the best filet I've ever had. Super soft, fall apart, excellent flavors. Lastly, i love flan. It's one of my favorite desserts. If you come here make sure you try it, they make it to perfection. read more

Brilliant. If you want to experience Perú's cuisine, Cuzco is your answer. As a half-Peruvian that has been to Perú several times, I can confidentially say that this food is authentic, high quality, and exceptional. Luna, the owner, as well as her relatives that operate the business along side her as chefs are all so personable, respectful, funny, and charming. They were great hosts for my lunch experience. Service was attentive and quick, and the food was just phenomenal in flavor; the ingredients were clearly sourced from Perú. I eat at lots of great places. The Michelin Guide doesn't cover Aberdeen but if it did, Cuzco would make the list. I had a halibut ceviche and a paella, a couple of excellent cocktails.
