Bobby was friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, Bobby had a great vibe. My husband and I are very different (he, a selective introvert and me, a social butterfly), yet, Bobby connected with the both of us. In the end, we hired Bobby to be our DJ and MC for our wedding ceremony and reception and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made! After making official contact with Bobby, things couldn't have gone any smoother. A few weeks before our wedding, Bobby emailed us an Excel spreadsheet to prep for the big day- I appreciated this because it showed that he was organized and made an effort to put our needs first. He asked us to provide a list of songs that must be played, but we ran out of time. Instead, we gave him a theme (the 90s-2000s pop/hip hop/r&b) and he played all the songs that we loved. Even better, our dance floor was never empty! Bobby went above and beyond with his service- he made it a point to come to our rehearsal dinner so he could scope out the venue. He made sure the venue had the outlets he needed, where we would set up, where he could park, etc. He even stayed after to discuss lighting at the venue and ways to make it better. I could tell he wanted to be prepared and was willing to put in the extra time and effort to ensure he was as prepared as he could be. For our big day, we had two special requests for Bobby- 1) find/play two popular Thai songs (crowd favorites at traditional Mien weddings) and 2) carve time at the end of the reception for an intimate last dance- and he was able to deliver on both! Aside from the music, Bobby was a lively MC! He did a great job amping the crowd and setting a positive tone for the party. It was AMAZING! HE was AMAZING! We hit it off with Derik and became very excited for him to be our DJ for our October 25th wedding. Unfortunately it was a disaster and left us feeling embarrassed. After reading others reviews I feel inclined as a business owner myself to warn people from future disappointment. We have plenty of witnesses to how this night went and I don't care for your response Derik. What happened on the day of our wedding should've never happened to anyone. Derik showed up late to my wedding ceremony. LATE. All my guests arrived, walked around and began to wonder because no one was there with instruction. Derik was the last person to show to my wedding ceremony and was over 30 minutes late. I personally called him on my wedding day as I waited in my dress 30 minutes late. I don't care what the excuse is. No reply necessary Derik. He then continued to play the WRONG song for my wedding party to walk down the isle which left me in fear of what I was walking down the isle to. Thank god he got that right. My husband and I were told to wait outside upstairs to be introduced by Derik into dinner and as we stood there waiting for over 20 minutes no one came to get us so I said forget this lets go inside. We walked pass Derik as he was talking to our chocolate fountain lady continued to walk upstairs and introduced ourselves. Yet another embarrassing moment. The reception was horrific. He didn't place speakers upstairs so during our reception speeches he had the speakers turned entirely up which cause the sound to be muffled. I wanted to pause everyone and say please bring your speaker upstairs but I was already embarrassed enough. Sadly to say Deriks reply to this is that my wedding event manager told him he couldn't place them upstairs which was false. Lies. Very upsetting. I believe it's the lack of having the correct equipment. Sad. This was my wedding day. After all of this and all the sad moments I decided to write Derik an email with how horrible the whole experience was and asked for a refund of some type because I felt he didn't do the job that he promised. I was even nice enough to say that I realize it was a day and gas he spent but it was horrible. His reply took over two weeks and when he relied he felt he did a great job so no refund. Very sad. I came across this company and was immediately impressed!! Ben had amazing customer service, very professional, worked with our budget and was a God send overall!! Wow! Just wow. I recently attended a beautiful baby shower that booked this company to handle their…read morephotobooth needs. And I have to say I was so impressed! From the amazing backdrop set up to the actual photo booth stand to airdropping photos directly to my phone within seconds, the whole experience was so cool! I've never experienced anything like it! One of my favorite parts was doing boomerangs and airdropping it to my phone and uploading it directly to my Instagram in 2 seconds. But my other favorite part was having physical prints that I can keep and take home with me to remember the day and post on my memory board. They also custom made a photo booth filter for the event. It's like a one stop shop. I don't even need to make a Snapchat filter! Although I haven't booked with this place directly yet, they will definitely be my first option for my next event! The organizer is friendly and responsive. The pricing they offered is also better than most photo booth companies I've worked with previously.
