Visiting Steven is like going to that safe place that you have tucked away in your heart from your…read morechildhood. I feel trusted and trusting in his space and can allow my deepest, truest voice to be heard in his presence. There's no judgement from him, only kindness that strives to stroll through some painful past experiences. Steven is a most trusting, helpful, and skilled healer (and an excellent writer too!) He is persistent yet mindful of boundaries. He will nudge you over that small roadblock of your mind and help you to realize how easy (or difficult) it was to overcome. Then you will learn how glad you are to have gone through it. The world seems like a different place after a session with Steven. There should be a sign in Steven's office - Disclaimer: Clarity and mindfulness may follow. Self-understanding, rejuvenation, growth, tranquility, confidence, and mental relief all come to mind. Steven will put years of experience, research, reading, writing, singing, and learning into the path of your winding river. Aptly named: Flow Healing Arts.

I also thought it could be some kind of emotional issue as well, I was desperate and tired of being hunched over like an old lady. What I got was so much more. Not only did my back pain go away, but I got major transformation to boot. My relationships have improved. I started dating (after being single for 2 years), and I'm feeling more present and "in-my-body" than I ever have before in my life. I think every person who wants real transformation should go see this guy. He's not only a genius at what he does, but he really walks the talk. He IS a really grounded, present, and open hearted guy. You just feel calm in his presence. It's a rare find to find a healer who seems to have some of their own stuff worked out, it gives you a lot of faith in what they're doing with you! Anyway, he's awesome. GO. Just...go.

Her "somatic experiencing" works seems simple: light touch and deep nurturing connection, but it goes extremely deep. In the first few sessions, I mostly rested in connection and safety. Thereafter, though, arose some really intense healing and emotional/traumatic release -- once my body felt safe with her, I guess. I was amazed in her capacity to work with and hold the range of experiences moving through my being. I really feel a strong maternal presence holding me, meeting deep attachment needs I didn't know that I had. Critically, I feel very safe with Amy, and really trust her to handle what arises. I have done talk therapy for years. And consider myself quite in touch with my body (yoga teacher certified, etc.). Yet Amy's healing presence is doing deep work in a uniquely potent, efficient, and in-the-moment manner. Thank you!

She is so kind, generous, caring and supportive.  Her approach is not formulaic; instead, she has such a broad and deep knowledge of different approaches,  techniques and supporting materials that she can use in the moment to respond with great care and thoughtfulness to however I show up that day.  Working with her has genuinely changed the way I move through my life, and I'm deeply grateful for the steadiness and compassion she brings to every session.

Told me to "COME BACK WHEN I AM BETTER"…read more I had high hopes, but was let down in all the ways. - They don't know what lactose intolerant means. They gave me dairy multiple times, so I had to skip eating. Bc of that I was then given a small shake - I asked to address this many times but was dismissed - everyone was given the same bland food, same portion sizes, etc - showers are shared by men and women. Men were the attendants during my short time there - One of my medications is $13k/month. It HAS to be kept refrigerated. This is clearly marked all over. I had to raise hell to get them to put it in the fridge before it went bad - meds were changed without discussing with me or my prescribing doctor(s). this is also written on my med bottles too - meds were denied when needed ex I HAVE to have sucraid and hyoscyamine anytime I eat or I end up in the ER - They blew out all my veins on my arrival day trying to get blood work. Demanded they try again the very next day, but everyone knows veins need time to heal after being blown. Have you gone through every self help book in the library and become an expert on disorders and…read morepsychology but can't apply the teachings to your life's situation? Have you gone to therapists, poured your troubles out and then waited a week before the next session, replaying all that you poured out and finding even more stuff to pour out? Have you finished pouring out your troubles to a really good set of ears (therapists) and then gone home and you still cannot deal with your troubles? Liz Khan gives you TOOLS to create the life you want, that you can use RIGHT AWAY. The tool box is YOU and all of these tools are neatly housed in YOU. She helps to unlock the tool box and teaches you HOW to use each tool, in a methodical, effective and wholesome way that works and STAYS! This program cleared the mess in my head and gave me clarity, calmness and consistency up there. It has spilled over into all aspects of my life, ones that I didn't even think needed fixing. Some of the messier and murkier troubles were peeled back like an onion, with Liz's persistence and seem almost laughable now. The price may be high, but a therapist can run much higher and not get you any results. The price tag and Liz also enticed me to work at this program really hard and remain determined. I feel like this should be taught in high school and save people from a lifetime of unnecessary agony.
