That said, John and the crew were outstanding: friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. At the Key West ticket counter, I encountered a similar issue with one staff member who was dismissive when I asked a simple question (gray hair W/ pony tail) -- her own colleague acknowledged it was uncalled for. Key West Express has a strong business model and a lot to offer. Frontline staff are the face of that brand, and a few negative interactions can significantly undermine the customer experience you've worked hard to build. I'd encourage leadership to address this directly, as it's worth protecting what you have. Overall, I would take the Key West Express again for the experience and a 3hrs vs 6hr drive any day - just get dedicated employees! Lastly, I really don't understand why they have such a late departure out of Key West back to Ft Myers -- hotel check out is usually 11am ‍..... what are passengers suppose to do w/ their luggage -- beside leaving it at the hotel....

Martha Horror is your hostess for the evening which begins at Bistro Soleil at The Olde Marco Inn with a free drink (house wine, bottled beer, water or soft drinks). By arriving at the recommended 6:00pm time, you get time to enjoy your free drink and get to know your fellow frightseers. We had a great group last night! The tour starts at 7:00 pm and is a full 2 hour bus tour of some of the haunts on Marco Island. Martha entertains during the entire trip! With truth, forklore and legends, she gives us a brilliant image of the life and times of the inhabitants of Marco Island. When the bus gets back to The Olde Marco Inn, we got to spend a great deal of time, learning about the history of the inn and investigating the upstairs of the old inn. At time of posting, tours are given on the first and third Friday's of each month; a special Halloween Tour; and private & group tours. You can also do a dinner tour, which I unfortunately did not engage in, but was told was excellent. I've been on many haunted tours throughout the country and this was one of the best!

Then she started chatting with the passenger on the front seat and missed her exit to the airport. She had to reroute and it put 30 minutes into our schedule. Finally we got to the airport she dropped all of us off at the arrival level -- added additional time to our 30 minutes to go to departure level. The whole time she continued talking incessantly with the passenger, talking about her life: her daughter graduating, how she lived in Alaska, how Florida is full of stupid people, on and on .....I feel that she compromised our safety, and delayed our arrival.

This was our first time to take the Babcock Ranch Eco tour and it won't be our last. We went in…read morelate March, which is the FL dry season. Our knowledgeable guide Brad told us if you go in the late summer (wet season), 2' or so of water is flowing through it. So, what you see in the two seasons is different. They also have a nice gift shop, small museum and a restaurant. We saw all sorts of birds and animals. Even though they aren't necessarily exotic or rare, you are seeing them in their habitat. The ranch property really represents FL, more so than some other types of tours. And, it is for all ages and reasonably priced. Our visiting late teenage aged grandsons and friend enjoyed the tour every bit as much as we did. Highly recommend!
