After test driving the car he even offered to do a trade in with our old car and the next day we went back to finalize all the paperwork. He took care of everything for us and the whole thing was so easy. He has helped us out in the past when we had an issue with our other car. Another autoshop told us we needed a whole new transmission, and basically said we may as well scrap it, but after talking to Bahhurs they ended up just replacing the rear differential which saved us thousands of dollars. This car ran for several more years after that without problems. It was for this reason we wanted to buy our car from them as we knew we would not be given the run around. "Doug" sounded very friendly and knowledgeable when my son took and dropped off the vehicle he asked that a check engine light be checked... he ended paying over $280. For basically a tuneup (change of Spark plugs and wires) with the inspection. Buyer beware.... I tried to reason with him... he said his prices were just.... NOT SO! EVERY OTHER SHOP WAS BETWEEN $50 AND 150. CHEAPER. I don't wish him ill, but he should not take advantage of students just cause his shop is the nearest to the colleges I informed him i would have to put this review due to his overcharging my son... he said to go ahead since it wouldnt affect his buisness... I made an appointment on Thursday 10/4/18 for Tuesday 10/9/18 to have the lower ball joints replaced on my truck. I was told the job would take 4 hours. I dropped my truck off at 7:30 am and drooped my keys off in the door slot, since no one was there and walked to work. I called at 9am, no answer. 9:30am no answer and again at 10:30. I wanted to make sure they had gotten my keys and information since no one took it over the phone. The guy that answered didn't seem to care and only said that he hadn't gotten to it yet. Since I didn't get off work till 3, it was ok at that point. When I got off work and walked back to the shop to pick up my truck, the job wasn't even started. The guy just shurgged at me and said he hadn't gotten around to it, but I could reschedule for the following week. My truck had been left unlocked with the keys in the ignition and unattended all day 0 on Customer service 0 on integrity Save yourself the agravation and wasted time and call a different machanic.
