Jeb and his team were phenomenal. I had an emergency and they were able to get a car for me and were able to set it all up smoothly for me.

The worst service I have ever received, I rented a car for 10/31 a trip that I planned to be at and had to cancel on the day of because of them. Now i owe money that I shouldn't be paying back I rented a car even though I was 20yrs Old, before I booked the reservation, I called two to three days in advance to ask them if I am able to reserve a car at that age because my father was flying in(Different Airport) and he couldn't pick up the car, and I spoke to a gentlemen and he said yes I can rent the car as long as a I had the right information and etc., I get there and they are saying that I can't rent the car and it made me really upset because I paid for a hotel 6hrs away and my father/ family flew out there and I was stuck back here stranded and left with no car and a waste of money on a hotel that I can't get back, if I can't rent the car tell me the truth on the phone and be honest because I am smart enough to not rent the car, and they said that they called but they never did and it disappoints me the industry that you work in a people just lie about it like I said be honest, now I'm stranded and my parents are 6hrs away enjoying but I'm not there because of this simple situation that could have been fixed over the phone and I could have my father fly to where I'm at to pick up the car, Reservation Team please tell the right info, because I lost money because of you guys and I can't enjoy my weekend with family read more

I had a great experience and was helped by David and Omar. I came into the shop on Wednesday and there was some confusion with my reservation and appointment. Despite that, they were able to get me in a car within 15 minutes! They were very professional and kind. The 4 stars is only because my appointment got mixed up, but the customer service was 5 stars. read more

Wish I could 0-star them. Not sure why enterprise is still even in business, although they do prioritize insurance rentals, so maybe they should just do that exclusively. I made a reservation online 2 days in advance. But apparently a reservation doesn't mean anything. I get a call the day before from enterprise at this location telling me they don't have the vehicle I have available and are unsure when it will become available. The worker tells me she will call around to other sites and see if the have one and call me back later. No call. The next day just Prior to my reservation time, I call back. This time the tell me they don't even have a single vehicle on their lot and the one that they expect back today is already reserved with an insurance ticket. I ask him how long I would need to wait for my reservation to be available, he replies "I don't have anything available and won't have anything for the foreseeable future." I asked home what he recommends, he tells Me "I would call around to the other larger sites and check their availability if I were you." Nice buddy. Ok, thanks for the help. Save yourself the headache of even thinking your reservation means a damn thing to anyone here, and go with Turo! Booked myself a car within hours service was 5 stars Turo puts the people back in service. Enterprise... Horrible customer service. After making the reservation over a week ago I arrived on time and was told I needed to bring 2 forms of mail with my address on it. They lied about not having anything available! Went by this afternoon and they still had the same vehicles on the lot, plus a couple more. Very poor way to run a business! Guess the manager doesn't care about making the company any money. Less rentals means less work for him to do. read more

Had a confirmed reservation for a SUV but when I showed up I was told they had no cars available and didn't know when they would. I drove 40 miles to rent here because it's closer to my home. DO NOT BOOK with ENTERPRISE!!! They did nothing to rectify a mistake they made, except send us to another rental agency that did not exist! Good evening! I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and concern after our experience today. We live in New Jersey and our son attends college in Tennessee. As parents we were concerned with him making the nine hour drive alone. We decided that my husband would drive with him for several hours and then get a rental car and drive home. We have done this once before without issue from the exact same location. I called an made the reservation the day before. The customer service representative was very nice. At the conclusion of the reservation she asked if we would be paying with a credit or debit card. I said that I would be paying with my VISA debit card. This was clearly noted in the reservation. We were relieved that our son would have a much shorter drive alone. We received our reservation and check in through email. My husband arrived to pick up the rental for his return trip. He was told that he could not rent the car without a credit card and that nothing could be done. He contacted customer service and they acknowledged that the customer service representative had made a mistake. We were told there was nothing else that could be done. So, a mistake is made on the part of your customer service and there is no sensitivity or any attempt to rectify the situation? My husband was left five hours from home in the middle of nowhere because your company made an error. He did not bring our credit card as we already were asked how we would be paying. It is unacceptable and a disgrace to be treated this way as a customer. Additionally, I offered to provide my credit card over the phone. We were once again told that we would not be given our rental. So, my husband was left in an unfamiliar location five hours from home. This was incredibly upsetting and stressful for our son. I can assure you that we will NEVER rent from Enterprise again and will share our story with everyone we know. Your company clearly doesn't care about your customers. I am disappointed in this business it is a joke!!! Recently called 3 weeks ahead for a reservation on the day of pick I was called and told that they would not have a car til after lunch. I was leaving to go out of town that morning. So I let that go. Planning another trip looking at prices and found Staunton to be cheaper so booked through them but thought I would see if this branch would match which they did. I went in on Tuesday spoke with Cory he said yes no problem we will have a car on Thursday at 10am. Go to pick up the car no reservations in our name this place is a joke! Had a corporate reservation for pickup on 3/31. Showed up at noon and the door was locked as I reached for the handle. That's right, locked the door on me as I tried to open it. I now am being told I have to drive to Roanoke or Lynchburg to pick up my rental. Guess this will make for an incredibly awkward conversation when I drop the car off on 4/5. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car is the only car rental game in the town of Lexington. I have been renting for them for years, and at certain seasons I rent at least one car a week for several weeks at a time. I have a commercial account as well as an enterprise plus account. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, however they are severely understaffed, always! For years there have never been enough peopleTo man the phones, wash the cars, and check people in and out. More often than not there is one person doing the job of three or four. Because of that they have a high turnover rate of employees, and the wait time even with the reservation, can go into an hour long wait. read more

The Lexington Enterprise Staff is very professional, accommodating and helpful. Lead by their branch manager, Chad, the service is expedient, vehicles are always clean and the staff is more than willing to assist in the event that issues occur. They also offer a complimentary "clean and wash" service that renters can take advantage of, even while they are renting the car (example: you can drop off your vehicle halfway through the rental period and get a complimentary wash & clean). The branch has a "family feel" to it and we love coming here - we also got a free upgrade during our last visit, which was a plus. Thank you! read more

I decided to rent a car for the weekend totally on a whim. So.... I walked in and Ben was just great; walking me through all the paperwork that was needed to update my information and payment method. While I was there, he handled another customer who was confused and borderline argumentative, He answered all his questions and treated the customer with respect. I was as impressed with his composure and handling of that customer as I was with the efficient and pleasant handling of my rental. My fiancé and I reserved a car two days ago to go away for the weekend. Earlier this morning I received a call from Enterprise asking for my fiancé, my fiancé was at work so I gave them his number expecting them to call him and get it all handled. Not once did he receive a call. Because of this I tried calling, it was busy. I continued to call every hour and still the line remained busy. Once my fiancé got dropped off at Enterprise and waited in line he was told there were no cars available and they didn't know when another car would be ready, probably not today at all. The guy was very rude and not helpful at all. Why would they allow us to reserve a car online if there weren't any available? This place is so poorly run and the staff is rude which is very unexpected for an establishment in Lexington. Never will I even try to rent a car from them again. read more

Made reservation for pick-up from Enterprise and was never picked-up. Attempted to contact the office involved all day. Phone was sent to voice mail and then stated mailbox was full. Contacted the 800 service number and was told they had no other number for this office. Was also told that Monday's are really busy with insurance claims from the weekend and that might be why I was missed. Offered no options or solutions! Because of this I was unable to provide my grandchildren the promised activities. This company advertises it is the company that picks you up anywhere anytime. This "Ben" guy was an absolute jerk and he rented out our vehicle when we left to go pick up a some documentation to rent it.

Chad was very rude to start off, We arrived to the location in the morning.I introduced my self and told Chad(the front desk host) were there to pick up our reservation. He sit there with a blank expression as if I were speaking in a different language. When I asked questions he was very condescending, for an example: I asked if the promotional code had been entered in and in a rude tone he replied how do you think you got it at such a cheap rate. After a while we got our car and it wasn't even the car we had asked for in our reservation. He literally walked around it and didn't fill out a report saying what was already damaged, or go over any of the features. The car was very dirty (pet hair all over seats)and made a hell of a noise when ever we hit a bump in the road. After driving it to Staunton we stopped at the enterprise location there to see if we could get our car swapped out, Unfortunately we could not.. I would not recommend renting from this location, rude staff and dirty cars. I will be posting this review anywhere I can to make travelers aware. read more

After we returned our vehicle (undamaged) after hours, Enterprise filed a bogus insurance claim against us alleging damage. Chad would only refer us to their insurance company rather than reconsider the claim. Meanwhile, another customer has informed me of having had the same experience. Watch out! Photograph everything on pick up and drop off, especially if there is no one in the office when you return. Otherwise you can be charged for preexisting damage, with no recourse.
