Clean in general. Some out of order machines but can't complain. It was a decent place to wash some comforters !

Owners are so friendly and I always see them there doing repairs and cleaning. The location is great and I feel safe doing my laundry here!

Two loads of washing and two loads of drying, I spent about an hour and a half here watching my stuff go round and round, round and round. As laundromats go, this one is clean, stocked appropriately and a comfortable waiting area. There are tables to sit, power outlets for personal electronics and a restroom. A flat surface or two for folding. Some vending for snacks. There is not much nearby other than a diner. I suggest you stay here and keep an eye on your stuff. Was clean and everyone kept to themselves washers were reasonably priced. I didn't use the dryers.

Always there when I need to wash bulky items or when your washers not behaving close and convenient and always clean!

I don't recommend this place. Poorly maintained and dirty. There are other options. It's an old place...

the laundry mat it's self is very clean however since I've been sitting here I have killed 4 cockroaches and my husbands killed two. It is not water bugs, their roaches. It's nice and quiet and everyone is doing their own things. read more

This laundry shop has a lot of washers and dryers. The most that i love about this place is the area where you can clean your rags and something that is not for regular machines to wash. I just hope other people would really respect this area. read more

Safe laundromat in the Rosedale area. A little bit pricey, but each and every machine is well cared for and clean. I think it is worth the extra quarters. If you need help, look at the signs and somebody will answer the phone to help assist when needed. Nice sitting areas and if you have extra time, you can always go grab breakfast next-door. read more

This is a rant! This place was great. It's not the owners fault it's filthy. It's the disgusting pigs who come in here and treat the place like a sty. They don't clean their mess or pick up after themselves. Dryer sheets and spilled detergent all over the place! Effing putrid behavior! The gentleman who owns this is a hardworking entrepreneur, comes in twice a day to check on things and sweep up. He deserves to be treated better than this. Came to this laundromat closest to my house because my washing machine decided to give up on me during the most perfect time, SMH! The place was clean, I didn't explore enough because I didn't gave enough time so I just used the first machine I seen in front of entrance. I used over 3 dollars to wash a small load. It ate up about two dollars worth of quarters, but right away I called the number on the door. Someone answered and immediately helped me. So therefore yes if I have to, I would come back. This is by far the best laundromat I've seen and been to in Bakersfield! Everyone minds their own business, does their laundry and leaves. It's a clean facility in a nice area, with good music playing. No loiters or interesting characters running in an out of the facility. I live about 20 mins away, but it's worth the drive. Great place to come do your laundry. It is clean most of the time, gets busy in the mid morning and then it gets really hot and more fans or cooling devices should be added, but still a good place to wash. I have been to other laundry mats and turned around and walked out because they are disgusting. I recommend this one to anyone that needs to wash and dry!! This is a great lil laundry matt near our house. We only come here when we need our king size sheets and blankets cleaned. $6 for wash and dry triple loads and $9.5 for largest 6 loads. Worth it because we feel safe leavening our belongings while we run errands. It's clean, they have a tv and bench or bar stool seating. The crowd is diverse and I feel safe hanging out and studying while I do my laundry. Only downside is money gets stuck sometimes and no one directly on site to help w it. But Still coming back just learned the machines to avoid. read more

Thankful for a clean laundromat in NW Bakersfield. We used three of the single-load Maytag commercial washers. Price was $2.75 per load; plus .25 for hot water. Convenient change machine located at center of store. It appears that every machine has a different price; and prices are only displayed when coins are inserted. We didn't see a sign that details what the various sized washing machines will cost. Dryers are .25 for 6 minutes. Each coin reduces the price remaining before "start" button can be pressed. We were done in 35 minutes... and dried the clothes at home. read more

This laundromat is really clean. They have plenty of machines ranging from the household machines to the industrial machines. There's even a special section to the back that is set aside for oilfield wash. The owner walks in often to check up on things and cleans around the shop. He's even added a snack machine recently. Now the only thing that is missing is free wifi! read more

I don't often go to the laundromat any more, but when I do need to go, I dread the company I will be forced to keep while there. Some places are downright scary. And don't even get me started on the cleanliness of those places. Gross!!! So I was very pleased to find this laundromat. It's very clean and I don't have to fear for my life while I wait for my clothes to dry! I was a little surprised to see it uses quarters only. Many newer places have cards to can load money onto. But the change machine worked well and it really doesn't make that big of a difference. Overall I would highly recommend this place. It's a bit out of the way, but it's worth the drive! read more

This place has really been neglected! Very dirty inside! No air conditioning or cooler and it's 100+ degrees outside!! Even coke machine dropped a can that blew up! And it was hot! Come on this used to be a nice place. Half the washers and dryers have "out of order signs" on them!! Owners should have a little more pride and clean this place up! It is the owners responsibility, I agree people in here should clean up after themselves, but it's owners who are neglecting the problem! Trash cans over flowing! read more

Last few visits severalvmachines have been out of order or dirty and the general overall vibe is not a pleasant one. today a homeless gentleman was shouting & yelling "Jesus!, JESUS!!, OH JESUS!" out loud quite loudly, although not in a blessed manner but more in an unfortunate manner. Lint traps need cleaning per dryers. Sad as this WAS a favorite place to do laundry. read more

We just moved to Bakersfield and are waiting for our new washer and dryer to arrive. We read the reviews on this location and decided it look like it would be the smart choice for our area. The establishment was clean, the machines were clean and were in perfect working condition. The seating was for sure better than most places we have seen. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to get their closes really clean, in a reasonable time frame and without having to extend the dryer life just to get your clothes dry. read more

First time I was here a man had 3 comforters stolen, I thought I try it one more time no carts for the laundry.. Not coming back.

So I'm town for a meeting and needed to wash a few things. The washers and dryers - many were broken and those that weren't needed quarters. Quarters this place needs to get modernizing to use debit cards to buy a laundry card you can tap the machines to pay. Additionally the place was generally filthy; build up soap, dust and dirt. The counters were chipped allowing for unfinished plywood to show. Several washers had rusty areas on the tops and near the money is inserted. I have pity for those who must use this laundromat- come on get this passed fixed up! read more

This laundromat is SO amazing! It's so nice and clean and I never have problems. I have only seen two things at most not working when I go there but most the time everything works. I feel at home when I'm there and so comfortable! All the people there are nice and respectful of each other... I LOVE this place and will come here forever! read more

This is a great place to wash clothes. The facilities are clean, and machines work well. Just wish they would take extra steps to enforce a mask rule within their establishment. This my 3rd visit to wash heavy items such as down comforters and rugs. I have always found plenty of parking, well lighted and ample washers and dryers from 1 load to 6, maybe 8 and great dryers. Also has a change machine that will change $1.00 to $20.00 bills and machines for laundry products and snacks. The worst thing is the people who use the place and don't take their clothes out of the washers and dryers promptly after they are done. Also, you always have your slobs who make a home where ever they go.But can't blame Thrifty Wash for their inconsiderate customers. All washer/dryers take quarters and a 3 load wash costs $4.25,$4.50 for a "turbo" wash. Dryers are $.25 for 6 minutes. I can do 2 heavy down comforters using 2 washers and 2 dryers for about $11.00 and approx. 1 hour of my time. Not bad at all. read more

Someone needs to be on the premises at all times for supervision. This would definitely cut down stagnation between clothes being left in dryers and washers where people walk away and leave the premises. Let's face it nobody likes to hang out and do laundry they want to get in and get out. The beauty is sometimes when one has a lot of laundry they could use two machines which makes it a luxury and then they can use two dryers. This place is amazing! A great variety of machines which are new and super easy to use. Incredibly clean and well-maintained. Lots of parking, lots of machines. There are even snacks :) I had some oversized items that wouldn't fit in my home washer. This place is great; I will definitely be back. read more

This laundromat is filthy! The exterior walls look like numerous car bumpers crashed into them. Machines are dirty and expensive. His Waters Laundromat is similar to Thrifty Wash Plus. They try to make a laundromat something other than clean, convenient, and affordable. Their overhead is high and they pass those unnecessary costs onto their customers. Judging by the filth, the owner is probably only breaking even. What a waste of time and money for the customer and the owner. Don't bother doing your laundry here. Places of "business" like this should be boycotted. read more
