The government (FED and LOCAL) has recourses to help you with legitimate education, FLY-BY-NIGHT, and SCAMS. Additionally, the Consumer Protection Agency WILL investigate, if they suspect FRAUDS. I was not a student but supposedly, a contractor. If somebody promises you a high paying job if you get trained with them, they must deliver. If they don't, they are liable. Many institutions have been sued and paid large fines for misleading consumers.

They have experts on staff that teach these programs, and it doesn't matter how many people are signed up for the class--if they have one person enrolled, they will teach the class! Consequently, my class size was very small, just four of us for the whole week, which meant we got lots of personal attention. You register for class ahead of time on their website. When you begin class, they set you up with a desk and computer of your choice (PC or Mac) in one of their many classrooms. The instructor's monitor is displayed on a monitor beside yours so that you can see everything she does and you can follow along easily. You are provided with whatever necessary manuals and textbooks are required (for InDesign training, we got two). They have a large break room and kitchen with free coffee, tea, and snacks. My class was taught by Joan, who was a gem. She was incredibly knowledgeable about InDesign and just the nicest person ever. She taught us everything we needed to know in those five days. Class ran from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, with two fifteen minute breaks and one hour-long break for lunch. I highly recommend this training school. If you need to learn a particular program, these are the people that will make an expert out of you. I wish I could take more classes here!
