Excellent product. Every tree was perfect, no brown and the height does not include the 12" 3 gallon bucket. We purchased 60) 5-6 ft trees and planted them 5 ft apart. two rows for most of the 200 ft run. We put mulch on the top to retain the moisture and a sprinker for each. Set the water to water twice a day at 30 min. every 12 hours. We are very pleased witht he service, the shipping (2 day fed-x) and the result. The only negative is Roy does not have a way to trak your shipment but if you add the Fed-X app to your phone you can track the trees without a tracking number. The value is excellent but if I had it over to do I would have bought them wholesale and saved 50% by paying to have them trucked to Orlando from SC. This would have been a big savings even with the $400.00 LTL fee. read more

We ordered 30 American Pillars. They shipped from SC to IA arriving well packed. Each plant was about 11-12". We planted each one as instructed in May of 2022. We lost one plant due to our Lab puppy playing tug of war with it. We've created a screen around our deck and patio since we live in Mr. Rogers neighborhood close to neighbors. The trees are healthy and growing fast. They've been exposed to Midwest heat, storms and winter. We caged them in winter when they were very small to keep the heavy snow from crushing the branches. Two years later some of them are now 5' tall. I highly recommend this garden center. We spent $255 for 30 young trees. read more

First, Roy the owner is a great guy. Good talk about general life. Ordered 23 gentle giant can can arborvitae. Ordered the 2-3 foot and all were 3 foot and some fresh growth. Came nicely packaged and secured and delivered in two days. Look great. Will be planting within a week. No regrets. read more

After having a good conversation with the owner of Thuja Gardens, Roy, I ordered 39 three to four foot Green Giants, and 44 one foot Green Giants. I also ordered 1 Dogwood tree. I placed the order on a Friday, and received everything other than the Dogwood tree by the following Tuesday. The Green Giants were great. The packaging was good, and all the trees looked fresh out of the ground. The pricing I received was better than any other seller on the web could match. For the Green Giants, A+. Regarding the Dogwood tree...it was not received. I tried to call Roy multiple times, and sent two emails advising the tree never arrived. I never received a response to my calls or emails. If it were not for the missing Dogwood tree, this would have been a 5 star review. read more

I was a little leery ordering plant from a website and concerned about the shipping, meaning the condition that the plants would arrive but, I was very pleasantly surprised. Reading reviews from other sources, it seems the management of Thuja Gardens do not handle "complaints" well. To that end, and their credit, they seem to go to great lengths to avoid them in the first place. I ordered 5, 3gl green giant thuja. The plants were all very well packed using ingenuity and quality packaging materials just not seen in this day and age. The thujas' were all very healthy and arrived in excellent condition. The plants traveled from South Carolina all the way to Carson City, NV and arrived in great condition (I'm sure despite FedEx efforts to destroy them). The very reasonable price you pay INCLUDES the shipping AND some fertilizer tables. I definitely recommend and will be buying from Thuja Gardens again. read more
