10,000 acres. Large meadows mixed in with forest

It was a day to remember. Rob was our guide and he did a great job. We did the full day open country trip. We had 2-3' of fresh powder to ride in. The snowmobiles are in great operating condition. They also provided boots, snowmobile suits, helmets, goggles, gloves. Make sure you have a neck gaiter. I would recommend this company.

Our best time snowmobiling so far! It was perfect weather and the fresh snow made it more amazing!

Ben our guide was amazeballs! Shay the photographer was the bomb too. It was myself, my husband and our 9 and 14 year old. The terrain was so beautiful everyone was so nice.

Wide open meadows of 8' deep powder, unbelievable!!!

These guys are super professional, patient, knowledgeable and safe! Couldn't say much more besides they are the perfect team of guys and the brats at the top of the trail with that million $ view made the day!!! Thanks Clay and Jeremy!!!

We came to town for a guys weekend. We hired the private tour guide and did the backcountry snowmobiling. Marcos, our guide, was amazing!! Great teacher and very patient will all of our falls and spills. The gear was like new, sleds were powerful, and the people were great. We will hire these guys again on our next trip out to Steamboat CO.

This is a top notch outfitter! The sleds were powerful and built for adventure. We did the pro guide tour and it didn't disappoint! Our guide Marcus was a ex-professional snowcross rider and fun to follow and watch. He taught us how to better handle the sleds to get the most out of our trip. We rode through 4-5 powder filled fields and had them all to ourselves. He knew all the best spots and gave us all that we could handle! He also built a fire when we broke for lunch. This was the highlight of our guys trip hands down. We have been to a few other outfitters over the years and Thunderstruck truly provided a top level experience that can entertain novice riders and challenge the strongest riders. Thank you Marcus and thank you Thunderstruck adventures!

This was when we stopped in an open area and got to play around the with snowmobiles some!

My fiancé & I had an amazing time on the trail explorer adventure 4 hour tour. It was a bumpy ride as a passenger, but overall so adventurous & fun. We were with a group that went fast and didn't stop unless we needed to so that was a plus! Our guide stopped to give us breaks when necessary, and also let us drive freely in 2 separate meadows. A cool experience overall! Highly recommend, especially if feeling extra adventurous.

Have done a lot of tours similar to this but these guys were the best, recommend doing the pro adventure tour with Marcus

My wife and I had a fantastic time in our 1/2 day snowmobile ride with Thunderstruck Adventures !! Our guides/hosts, Marcus and Martin, were the the BEST !!! They not only displayed professionslism but great knowledge and helpfulness. It was such a perfect day to be on the mountain with clear skies and enough snow on top to cut up and have some great fun !! When we come back there is no doubt where we will be booking our snowmobile adventures with Thunderstruck again. Clay was a very gracious host and displayed a true concern for everyone's safety and provided all of the necessary equipment along with some great sleds. Thanks so much for making such a memorable day for us !!

    Family fun!

After a 30 minute ordeal of online chat, phone calls the GM had to call and finally gave us a code that worked. The on-site manager never called or came over that day at all. Vacasa should do a better job of managing this condo complex just because of the pricing to stay here, not sure we will stay here again. Oh am the stack washer dryer in this unit, the washer is on the fritz stops mid cycle. Oh and 1 hot tub is not working. Vacasa your crew is doing a poor job here at Dulany I expect better! 3 Stars !!

Dulany is in a fantastic location for ski in/out. I understand that Christmas/New Year week warrants peak season pricing - and we certainly paid a premium. The check-in process provided by Mogul Ski World and Vacasa is woeful. We had to wait outside the condo for more than 90 minutes after check-in time (check-in time is insanely late at 5pm). What I wasn't prepared for was the shockingly disappointing presentation of Apartment 306. It presents in what looks like original condition with little to no money being reinvested by the owner despite the unbelievably high rate they charge visitors to stay. - No working vacuum cleaner - Disgusting washing up brushes provided - No pantry space (kitchen cupboards filled with "stuff') - Cooking equipment not fit for use (knives, pots/pans should be trashed) - Bathrooms - Heat lamps not working - Ceiling leaking for several days - Garbage bin cracked and leaked over the floor - Laundry - doors removed and not replaced, very noisy and unsightly - Bedroom wardrobe - doors removed Do not stay in this apartment/condo - we have been completely ripped off and disappointed with the service agents - Mogul Ski World (mogulski.com.au) and Vacasa (vacasa.com). Do not use either of these agents.

I still remember the phrase "Champagne Powder" from back in the day, and the light, dry snow and beautiful aspen tree skiing lived up to the billing. I was young and pretty clueless about the broader ski world when I first visited, but with many more years and places since, I appreciate even more how welcoming, unpretentious, and genuinely Western Steamboat felt. I've been fortunate to visit in both winter and summer, and the town is remarkably special in either season. Winter brings the skiing, while some of my favorite summer memories are tubing down the Yampa River and going to the rodeo, experiences that make Steamboat feel like much more than a ski resort. It has been a long time since my last visit, and the mountain has clearly evolved considerably since then. Still, the combination of spectacular terrain, Western heritage, and an unusually warm sense of place is what has stayed with me. Highly recommended.

The runs are long and offer a variety of terrain from beginner to expert. If you're lucky enough to break off in the trees you'll find great snow and sparse crowds. The views are beautiful from every point. It's also convenient to have two gondolas and ski school being moved to mid mountain. Love the apres ski vibes, wide offering of food places and places to grab a coffee or beer. Wish I was there right now!
