We stopped in during our road trip for dinner and had a great experience. I got the chicken soup and it was amazing! So full of flavor and so filling! The restraunt was a shady place, and evreything me and my friends would order they didn't have stocked such as drinks,entrees and so on and so forth. The staff was pretty nice and full jokes, as for the food the entree wasnt to good but the sides were pretty tasty but all in total it was way to pricey and we were definitely over charged as for me and my friend ordered the same dish but had different totals. For example our dish was $7.50 and we both had tea but my outcome was $11 and my friend's was $17. Definitely out of all the Mexican restaurants in Junction Texas there are better setups and Tias is definitely the worst in town (over priced, not stocked on supplies, and qustioning food, nice staff on the other hand ) read more

Well it's a nice environment but very low on supplies. They didn't have much of the things we asked for such as drinks and hamburger. The enchiladas were amazing but the beans and rice were not my tempo. The food was over charged and the service was spacey. The chips tasted stail and the hot sauce tasted more like tomato sauce then hot. Again very homie but for the money that I paid, there should have been better over all service and more supplies on deck too meet my needs. Went for lunch with a friend on a road trip to California. Service was quick and easy. Very polite and personable. Chips and salsa roja hit the spot, crisp, thin, and crunchy goodness. Lemonade was awesome. Got #28 combination. 2 beef tacos, 2 beef enchiladas, rice and beans. Everything was on point as far as i know authentic Mexican. If you want beef beef ask for asada, i was fine with ground beef. $22.75 for two plates and lemonade. Will keep you satisfied for the road ahead. So this place wasn't ALL horrible but most of it was. My family and I were looking for a good place to eat late at night and they were open so we stopped, but right off the bat this place was very mismatched. The interior it thrown together and a little funky but I've been to some GREAT places that were mismatched so I wasn't going to judge but the worst part about it was that everything I was going to order was out. Caldo de Pollo, Menudo and their tacos are made with GROUND BEEF what the hell. You have to specify ASADA in your tacos and its a bit more expensive. I got enchiladas that were good but the other plates my family got we're not very tasty and WE ALL felt a little sick afterwards. Overall not a horrible place but I wouldn't recommend. read more

We went here because a friend said it was good. The day we went--not so much. Food was bland, chips were stale and cooked with rancid grease. The cheese in the enchiladas was of the poorest quality (maybe it wasn't real cheese?). Server was actually great but that didn't make up for the bad food. Stopped here for lunch today. The food was good, the service was very good. The male manager was a little less so. They do charge .50 for each take-out container-FYI. They also are not able to itemize a list of what you purchased. manager was quite inquisitive as to where we were driving from and where we were going which was a little uncomfortable.
