This was my first trip to Europe and I traveled with my adult daughter. I booked my tour far in advance, and Irene was very accommodating and helpful. She answered all of my questions quickly and completely, and tailored our experience to what we wanted to see and do. My daughter and I booked a pick up from the cruise port of Civitavecchia and tour of Rome. Andrea was there to pick us up promptly and it felt like we had just reconnected with an old friend. He was very knowedgeable and personable. We were able to see all of the main attractions we wanted to see, and he utilized our time well, avoiding traffic. Andrea made reservations for us to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant where we sampled local food and wine. We were also able to go shopping for souvenirs and learn about the history of the area. We ot back to our cruise exhausted but happy from all we had seen and experienced. The following day, Andrea met us at the Naples port and we headed to Pompeii. He had arranged a private guided tour of Pompeii for us, which we thouroughly enjoyed. We then headed to Sorrento for lunch and shopping. In September 2017, my parents and I used Tiber Limo for a private transfer from Rome to Venice with sightseeing stops along the way. Our Driver Florian was kind and accommodating. His expertise and knowledge of the areas traveled to made our-long journey unique and memorable. Florian arrived early to our hotel in Rome and helped us with our bags. My mother who uses a cane was meticulously assisted in/out of the van at each stop. The Mercedes van used was recent, clean, comfortable, and provided more than enough space for us (reclining seats was also a plus). Our sightseeing stops were spent in Siena and Castellina (in Chianti). Our lunch and wine tasting at the winery was perfect and allowed us to truly appreciate the area and skilled wine making. The entire transfer experience was better than I could have asked for. We arrived on time to our hotel in Venice; forever grateful for the day we were able to have with Tiber Limo. I cannot speak highly enough about Tiber Limousine Service. On my first trip to Rome, Italy my parents and I used Tiber Limousine Service to take us from the Airport to our Hotel (Hotel King). Driver was excellent and on time at the airport to pick us up. After he dropped us off we set out to sightsee. I received a phone call from Andrea letting me know he would be over to pick us up to head to the Vatican. He picked us up and took us to the Vatican. The van we took over was classy and spacious. After the Vatican he picked us up and took us back to the hotel. He told me that he would be back later and he took us on a night time tour of Rome. This is one of my favorite memories of Rome. I LOVED walking around with Andrea just learning all about the city and the history. He is one of the nicest people ever! The next day we went sightseeing and he came to pick us up to drive us down to the cruise pier. When he got to the hotel I was attempting to cancel our hotel at the airport. I was having such a great time in Rome that after the cruise I wanted to stay at the same hotel rather than the one I booked. Andrea told me to hang up the phone since I wasn't getting through to them. I did and he drove us over to the hotel out by the airport so I could run in and cancel my reservation. He's beyond thoughtful! I will have to say I was so disappointed getting on the crusie because I had such a great time in Rome! We board the cruise. We had fun on the Carnival Freedom. After the cruise he promised he would be there to pick us up to take us back to Rome. We got off the cruise and there Andrea was. I was sooo happy to see him! He took us to get breakfast on the way back to Rome. It was like hanging out with an old friend and catching up all over again. He told us where to go to dinner that night and it was great recommendation. Next day he picked us up and took us to breakfast and back to the airport. I was so sad to leave. It was so hard to get on the plane after all the fun we had with him showing us around. BUT.... now we are going back to Europe! We are using Tiber Limousine Service for 2 days (Naples and Rome). We can't wait to spend the day with Andrea being toured around. He is so knowledgable and versed in the history and culture. You feel like you are sightseeing with a friend. Their vehiceles are so clean and comfortable. Another plus to the company is working with Irene! She's also amazing and will make all kinds of arrangements. ALWAYS Wonderful! October 2014 was the third time we booked trips with Tiber Limousine Service and it certainly won't be our last time! We had Tiber meet our cruise ship when we were in port in Liverno, Rome & Naples. Since we had previously visited all these ports, we wanted to see something different. We were thrilled with the tours that Tiber provided for us! We were transported comfortably and could spend as long as we wanted in each place. We were never rushed and didn't "waste" time waiting for others. Besides fabulous tours, our guide took us to amazing places to eat! Having Tiber meeting us in these ports made them more memorable and enjoyable. The second half of this trip we went from Venice to Rome with stops in Verona, Bologna, Assisi, and Orvieto. Tiiber met us in Venice and we were off on another amazing adventure thanks to Tiber Limousine Services. The tour was stress free and packed with interesting places to see and places to eat. It was a fantastic way to end our cruise since we had the opportunity to experience Italy "by land". Again, it was fabulous because of Tiber. I forgot to mention that our guide was Andre . He has a very charming manner and is quite knowledgeable as well as being fluent in English. You are captivated by all that you see because Andre is so enthusiastic. Perfect, Fabulous, 100% satisfied with Tiber Limousine Service. Our group consisted of 5 adults, 2 elderly with slight difficulty getting around. Irene and Andrea planned our three days in Rome to avoid loss of time. We provided them with an outline of the points of interest which we would like to visit. After being in Rome central several times, we decided to explore areas surrounding Rome. We had arrived in port from our cruise and Andrea was there waiting for us. We discussed the areas we wanted to see and time frame we had. Andrea informed us that a couple of the sites were extremely similar and made suggestions. We followed his lead and were happy we did. One of the sites he suggested was Ostia Antico, which was the first Roman sea port. We never heard of this wonderful beauty. Actually we enjoyed Ostia Antico better than Herculaneum. We visited the aqueducts and Andrea, who is a wealth of knowledge explained the aqueducts and how some are still in use. He also explained the phrase, "All streets lead to Rome," We toured the entrance to what the Romans built was the walls around Rome. With Andrea's suggestions and knowledge, we visited sites that we would not be able to or know of. He also made sure of avoiding traffic routes to help us get as much into our visit and sites of Rome. Irene worked with me closely and was extremely flexible with our plans. I would change them almost daily prior to our trip but they were very acceptable of the changes. Andrea would pick us up every day at our hotel promptly. The Mercedes Mini-Bus was always comfortable and equipped with wifi and water. He would drop us off at the sites and wait for us. If you ever go to Rome, definitely contact Tiber Limousine Service. ***WARNING*** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! WE GOT SCAMMED!!! There are far better options than this company. We used them while in Rome and it was horrible!!! Driver spoke very little English, major communication issues, reckless driving, kept using a translator on his phone to communicate, almost got into several accidents between the translator, texting and lack of experience. So unsafe with little kids in the car, we were terrified!!! Left us at the Vatican for over 3 hours, had to turn our cell service on to locate him, gave us wrong ticket information, then had to walk over a mile to get to the van, not sure why we hired a driver. He kept talking about how the other companies/drivers get priority parking and he has to park far away. The few sites we saw, we had to walk a far distance since he was not familiar with parking, streets, etc. Wish we had used another company!!! Most of the tour was drive-by and no time to stop since he left us and then got lost several times! He kept apologizing that we didn't see 1/2 the sites that we were suppose to & then decided to take us back to the ship early...WHAT?! It was the most awful day of our cruise and we cannot get that back. Complete waste of money! The owner, Andrea and his assistant, Irene knew of the situation throughout the day. The driver had phoned them several times to inform them of issues. Both the owner and Irene stated we had to pay in full in order to board the ship, but they would make it right. THEY DID NOT!!! THEY LIED! THEY AGREED TO REFUND 50% VIA EMAIL, BASED ON THE COMPLETE LACK OF CONTRACT/TOUR, HOWEVER, THEY HAVE NEVER STOOD BY THEIR WRITTEN PROMISE!!! NO REFUND TO DATE!!! This was one of the best decisions my wife and I made when we went to Rome. We contacted them via email and Irene always responded quickly with detailed information and a great disposition. The price was the best among all the available options. We chose to have a mini tour at the beginning and the guide that was with us was awesome, thanks Dany! The transportation was always clean and comfortable. By far the best part was the drivers, Sergio and Christian were so nice and friendly, even though they spoke very little english they made us feel like family. My husband and I recently traveled to Italy on two separate occasions to visit our daughter who is studying abroad.
