I have been traveling to Boulder on and off for the past 2 years. I frequently stop by the Tibert Gallery as I am a collector of spiritual art. At first, I thought the world of the store, but over time I have come to discover very poor practices by the owner. There is a an element of spiritual fraud practiced at the store. Everything is always 20% off. They say they are having a "summer or seasonal sale", but please don't be deceived, I have been coming for 2 years, and every-time I shop there everything is always 20% off. I have an issue with this business practice, given the sacredness of what they are selling, it is not inline with the spiritual principles of the Gods an Goddess of whom they are selling. Also, I observed the owner pray over the objects when tourists purchase them, to me, this just adds to the deception, and in my mind, the owner is a charlatan, or imposter. All of the other Tibetan gallery's is Boulder to not practice these practices. I would recommend supporting a gallery that have more authentic practices in line with the spiritual art they are selling. I will not shop here again. read more

So I hear this is a new location...either way, Tenzin, the store owner was very nice, welcoming, and helpful. I stopped in here to buy a Kata (Tibetan silk scarf used in Tibetan Buddhism rituals, cause I'm a newbie), Tenzin was ready to assist. I had asked Tenzin about different procedures that I had to traditionally do, cause I didn't want to offend anyone. Tenzin was very patient and happily to assist me. I was very thankful. In addition to that, there are so many beautiful items one could buy here, I ended up walking away with a beautiful, round selenite, that was the color of rose quartz, but is selenite.
