Visited this store while visiting Boulder in January. Saw a beautiful elephant carving - the shop merchant explained that it was hand carved in Turkey from wood. Gave me a great price - $50 when I bought some other Knick knacks. Recently we knocked it down on accident - guess what? It is plastic - cheap knock off - not authentic and not from Turkey unless they are hawking Turkish plastic items now. I'm very angry that I was swindled. I bought a 9 globe standing lamp in October of 2021. The sales person said it would be shipped immediately and arrive in a week. After many weeks & calls to the store the lamp arrived badly damaged. I sent pictures & after a few calls was told a new lamp would be sent to me. The owner/manager seemed very helpful. That was 6 months ago. I have not received a replacement lamp & now the store and owner are not responding to my multiple calls and texts. This lamp cost a few thousand dollars. This place will rip you off if they have the opportunity. Shop somewhere else. read more

I took some friends into this beautiful store only to be treated like 'dirt' by the sales person, he literally judged me by my look and asked me if I'd brought dirt into his clean space, I was confused as I was looking at the soap for sale, when I questioned what he meant he pointed out my sweater and my friends hat. We could tell our business was unwanted so we left, we will not be returning nor do we appreciate the way we were treated, in these dark times it is love that makes the difference, not fear. read more

Lolo sold us an expensive rug over a month ago. He said they were out of the pads but would deliver it a few days later. He never showed up. We have call numerous times and he, again, said that he would deliver the next day. Spent days at home waiting for him to show up and he never does. Note: Ari did finally show up to deliver the rug pad after numerous calls and my reviews. read more

Buying beautiful furniture items isn't something we often do while traveling, but Lolo facilitated the exception. Nestled on the Pearl Street Mall, its gorgeous Turkish decor draws you in. My husband and I fell in love with a large colorful rug and the staff worked kindly with our budget. Aidan provided features, such as free shipping, that made purchasing as a tourist totally accessible. Love this shop in Boulder. I went in during a recent visit to see my son. My plans did not include buying a rug but the staff gave me a great deal, educated me on the craft of rug making and even let me lay on the rug to get a feel for it. I am a floor sleeper so that mattered to me. They shipped the rug and padding to NC at no additional charge. In fact the padding did not come with the original shipment so I had to call to request it be shipped. I called that Friday and the padding shipped out Monday. Plan on purchasing another rug from this same location on my next visit. read more

Ordered a lamp while visiting the store and was told it would be shipped to me free of charge and would arrive the following week. A week went by and I didn't receive the lamp so I called the store and the sales associate said she would check on the order and call me back. That was a week ago and I have to heard back from the store or received the lamp in the mail. read more

Our experience at Lola was wonderful from start to finish.
