Boulder Arhaus has a lovely showroom. They deserve a star for that. But once they have your $$ watch out... ---We placed a large order from Boulder Arhaus but needed to return 2 items. We did a return via UPS and had our shipping receipts but the manager at Arhaus claimed over and over that we had not shipped the items back so there would be no refund. ---Arhaus then refused to provide us a refund for these fully paid for products. Visa took on our claim, easily seeing that we paid for the items, but were never refunded. Once Visa forced Arhaus to make a refund our situation went from bad to worse. ---There was zero communication from the Boulder Arhaus manager after this but we learned after months of waiting that our FULLY- paid- for custom rug would not be delivered to us due to us involving Visa to get our refund owed. We had waited months and months for the rug and then Arhaus refused to deliver our rug! --May the force be with you if you need to unravel any accounting/refund issues with corporate Arhaus. Believe me, you will need a forensic accounting audit. We finally gave up. ---I encourage anyone to look at all of the reviews on Google, Yelp and Better Business Bureau. Arhaus has beautiful designs but the quality is compromised. I have purchased 3 big ticket items in the last 6 months and ALL of them were defective or damaged. They tried to deliver a second item as a replacement for one of them and the new item was even more damaged. I finally gave up (I'm a busy person) and took a 25% discount. That should be barely enough to hire a furniture repair specialist to address the issues. I'm finished with them. read more

We spent ~$40,000 on a relatively large order, which included upwards of 20 items. Deborah came to our house and helped us design the look. However, once the sale was done, we never heard from them again. It was our job to keep thorough records on items delivered, items returned, items that arrived broken; they would not help us with mailing these items back, and we had to do further follow ups to find out that we were not credited for items returned. This store is sloppy and lazy, and it comes across as crooked. The kicker is that one of the items that we returned was $1400 mirror that they claim was never received! So, now they taking us to collections over a mirror we do not have! I wouldn't trust this store with a candle, let alone a big order, and Arhaus corporate is just as cold and incompetent. One of our biggest regrets, and we are still dealing with over 9 months after purchasing the items. If I could get a lower score that 1, I would. Truly one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a store, and it is still on-going and unresolved. read more

Wow, what an amazing experience working with Deborah from Arhaus! She was given the task of furnishing and decorating my brand new 6000 square foot home here in Las Vegas. From the moment I was introduced to her, she was completely engaged and genuinely interested in what my personal tastes and preferences were, along with wanting to know the needs of my family and how the home would best function on a practical/every day life basis. For every single room (approximately 9 in total), she used the blueprints of the home to visually design and lay out 3-D renderings of how the furniture would fit. And this was all before I even received the keys! The amazing part of it all is that all of the real furniture (once delivered) fit perfectly! Nothing was too big, and nothing was too small. It was if she had personally been on site and measured on her own. Honestly, I had reservations initially about not having someone physically on site to measure and conceptualize, but Deborah nailed it in every single room! She truly has a gift for utilizing space, and at the same time keeping in mind practicality and daily living. Equally impressive was her availability and prompt responses to any questions or concerns I had. More than a few times on a weekend I would email or text her and she always got back to me quickly and with a pleasant, thorough, and appreciated response. Clearly she has genuine passion and love for what she does. In closing, my home was completely furnished within a month or so after receiving my keys. There is no way I would have been able to do this on my own in that timeframe, nor would I have selected such beautiful, amazing, and well coordinated furniture without the help of Deborah. At every turn or point of contact with this company the customer service was terrible. The web concierge page was inoperative so they never answered any of my questions. I think the company overall,is in over its head. My furniture has taken over seven months to be delivered. We will see if it's damaged or not. I couldn't pick up a floor model that I bought for six weeks even though I pleaded with them because we had a once in a lifetime event where that piece would have been instrumental. They helped us plan and execute a perfect plan for our vacation home AND did it over zoom/phone (we were out of state). The sales team at the Boulder showroom, especially Patty Burnham, are great! We purchased several items for a new home and all their recommendations were spot on for the look we were wanting. Most of the items were in the showroom so we could actually see them. Delivery was very hard to schedule. Multiple people calling several times a day. The quality of the items were as expected for the higher price except for the solitaire chandelier that was broken on first delivery and the second delivery with a 7 week replacement.(Different issues) read more

Patty Burnham and Mamuel assisted me in choosing a number of different items for my future new home which I am rebuilding after I lost everything in Marshal Fires. I am a quite picky client but they were so patient with me, responsive to my requests, open to applying possible discounts, changing orders if necessary, making suggestions, coming with answers and providing clarifications to my questions, notifying me on sales events. Not only they were absolutely professional but also so tactful and and nice to communicate with. The only suggestion which I would have is having more different floor samples on display. The web images do not often reflect the real view of the items. I am also puzzled with the bad experience the others had with delivery services and I hope all will go smooth with my deliveries when the time comes. Otherwise, great experience so far! read more

We purchased a bed from them ~24 months ago. The bedroom frame was not made from wood. It was a very low-quality particle board with a veneer and collapsed this week. Maybe I am an idiot to have believed their prices translate into quality. For the money your company charges, this was one of the worst product experiences I have ever had with furniture. Arhaus sells moderately expensive furniture in what I guess you'd call a rustic modern style. Similar price range as Room & Board. Some nice pieces, mostly not our style, but there was a table we liked, so we purchased it. The table itself is well made, sturdy, and beautiful, but our experience with delivery left much to be desired. When we purchased the table, we were told by the store staff that it would be available in about 4 weeks, and that their delivery people would contact us. That was perfect timing for us. Around 4 weeks later, I hadn't heard from them yet, so I called the store. They looked up our order and confirmed that the order was on schedule and that we should hear from them in the next couple of days. A few days later, having heard nothing, I called back. This time the rep said the table wouldn't be ready for another 3-4 weeks. Clearly the salesperson and whoever I spoke to when I called the first time either weren't being straightforward, or didn't have the right information. Given the poor communication, I called the store again about 2 weeks later to see if we were still on schedule. "Oh, well, it's been ready," they said. "Would you like to schedule delivery?" Well... yes. Yes I would. The delivery was scheduled for the following week. The table came in 2 pieces, top and base, that needed to be assembled by the delivery team. Except... the warehouse sent the wrong screws. They weren't even all the same type. Apparently this is a recurring issue as I've since read several accounts of this on other reviews. The delivery lead called someone called the "concierge", who apologized and had the correct screws overnighted. In her email, she said the delivery team would again contact us in the next couple of days to schedule the assembly. I could have easily done it myself, but didn't want to take the responsibility in case there was a problem. A week later, no call, so I called the concierge again, who told me I was supposed to call *her* when the screws arrived. Not what she said in her email, but whatever, fine, not worth fussing over, she said they'd call the next day. 2 days later, no call, emailed her. 1 day later, no response, called again, got voice mail, voice mail box full. Called the store, explained the situation, they said they'd contact the corporate department head, and the next business day I got a text about scheduling the assembly. Assembly guys arrived a few days later and attempted to drive in the screws from below, while the other guy tried to hold the table down. #10s into hardwood, without pre-drilling, from below. I suggested they turn it over but they said it wasn't necessary. After hearing the sound of screws camming out and stripping for a couple of minutes, I asked them to please turn the table over and they did so. The screws they put in before that are cockeyed. Fortunately it doesn't look like the wood cracked anywhere. The product is great, and everyone I spoke with was very polite and apologetic, no complaints at all about the personnel (except the assembly guys who were too lazy to turn the table over and thought they could defy physics). It seems like they've got some real problems in their warehouse and internal communications. I figure for what I paid for that table I shouldn't have to deal with this kind of crap, so I won't be shopping there again. read more

I want to vomit after my experience with their delivery and customer service team. They get a total of 2 stars because of their design skills and helping pick out some beautiful pieces. Furniture was delivered and the delivery company had no idea how to install our kitchen table top to the base. (Which we later came to find out was as simple as screwing in nails....more to come on that). After about 15 (no joke) calls to either the store, corporate customer service and their 3rd party delivery company....which was a week and a half after the furniture was delivered...I was told it would be 2.5 *additional* weeks to get a tech out to install the table top to the base. Unacceptable. Fast forward to additional calls to customer service to let them know that we weren't ok with this, they then expedited a tech to come the next day between 12-2pm. All along, I was told not to screw the nails in myself as there was a special way to install it and it would void the warranty. Assembly day. I work from home and had cleared my call schedule between 12-2pm. 10:15am here come the guys....smack in the middle of a conference call that I had to drop off of. I was livid at this point. The guys...as suspected....screwed in the nails with no special process. Something we could have done ourselves 2 weeks ago when the table was delivered. The kicker? The table isn't level. On to the next adventure. They've ordered another table for us (ETA another 3 months) and questionable on whether or not that one will be level. Just save yourself the delivery and customer service headache and go elsewhere. Please. I think I'll throw up if I ever have to step foot inside the store again. read more

I bought an entire bedroom set and two couches from here in the past few months. We had a fabulous experience with the store in Boulder! The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. They are not pushy and have the patience to answer all of our questions. The bedroom set was delivered within 2 weeks and is absolutely gorgeous. The delivery team was also fantastic as they had everything assembled and placed where I wanted within 30 minutes. For our sofas we needed someone to consult with us and Lori Cotton was fantastic! She demoed the fabrics and how they are stain resistant so we felt better about ordering such a light color. She answered every one of our questions and was a wealth of information. Since the sofas are custom made we knew it would take 8-12 weeks, and thankfully they arrived less than 8 weeks later. Lori also kept us updated on the process and checked in after they were delivered. Again, the delivery team (Ryder) was super polite, courteous and quick. Not to mention the sofas are stunning! I'm not sure if maybe Arhaus had a different delivery system that received such bad reviews before, but I assure you Ryder has been fantastic. The furniture is pricey but you get what you pay for, and they are beautiful pieces!! read more

Sad to see the overall rating of Arhaus. We think they are great, but judge almost completely on the furniture and not the shopping experience. It is a furniture store, and rather high end, so the sales staff will inevitably want to interact with you a lot. We have bought mostly living room decor including a coffee table set with petrified wood and we love it all. Its not cheap, but you can't find these items anywhere else. We did receive a broken coffee table on delivery once (cracked... it is a Japanese burnt wood piece that is irregular and was probably vulnerable to changes in the climate). Arhaus sells expensive furniture but I purchased 3 pieces for my office. The sellsperson, Lisa, gave me her number and told me to text her with any questions or concerns after my purchase. The delivery was about 2 months out which I understood since covid and all. Arhaus has brought the wrong color desk TWICE now. I also had a furniture leveler stuck in my brand new tire the day after they left and had to have that repaired. I've tried to deal with Lisa who is rude and just ignores my text. I've called the delivery department numerous times with no response. I did receive a message that they would be delivering the THIRD desk in august. That's 6 MONTHS/ HALF a year after I purchased it. You'd think they would send me the next one off the assembly line. Not sure if I'll get get the right desk. My next step will have to be reporting to the BBB. read more

Let me start by saying that the majority of my problems are more likely attributable to the chain and not necessarily this particular store. The folks here were very helpful when I was shopping for a piece of furniture. The difficulty came with delivery coordination, communication, and other mishaps. I took time off to be home for delivery, and when it showed up, it was broken - I never saw it, was just told by the driver that it was broken. He also said someone would contact me. No one did. I had to follow-up myself days later. First off, it seems like everyone in the store has the same email address. Your salesperson will email you from it, but when you reply you may wait...I was wondering everything from "is she off today" to "is everyone ignoring my email?" Then when I finally got hold of someone I was bounced back and forth between warehouse, delivery and store as everyone said I should be talking to someone else. In the end, after another delivery snafu, I finally got the furniture, and I'm rather pleased with it (still not certain it's the exact fabric I ordered tho). I'm not sure I'll shop here again - I've bought furniture from every major company in town (R&B, C&B, Ethan Allen, Macy's, Kacey) and never had such a difficult and long wait just to get something into my home. read more

We LOVE the style and design of furniture at Arhaus but the delivery process takes away from the entire excitement of finding that perfect piece. Buyer Beware: Don't purchase items if you need furniture in any reasonable amount of time and don't mind having to check up on your delivery numerous times. We ordered a bar on 12/31/17 and were told by our sales person that it was in stock and we would receive a call in a week to schedule delivery. After a week, I called to check on the status and was told the piece would be coming from their warehouse across the country. The salesperson explained that I would receive a call once the piece arrived in Denver, which could be between 1-2 weeks after purchasing the piece (not the 1 week wait I had anticipated). I received an automated call and email to select my delivery date the following week and received a follow up email that said my window would be confirmed within 24 hours of my delivery date. I confirmed my 3-hour window via text the day before delivery, moved furniture, confined my dogs and waited....and waited. I called Arhaus after my delivery window came and went and was told that the delivery service tried to call me the day before to tell me that my item was damaged and needed to be reordered but was unable to leave a voicemail. I inquired why they didn't try to call me on delivery day as well, or text or email me (since that was how delivery was scheduled in the first place) if they weren't able to get through via phone and was told by Arhaus that my cell number was the only thing shared with the delivery company. So why didn't the delivery company at least tell Arhaus they weren't able to deliver the furniture I'd already paid for? I requested to have my delivery fee refunded, which I did receive. It's 1/29/18 and still have no idea when the piece will be delivered. read more

Furniture is lovely and absolutely my style. Was very excited to order a table that would be just perfect for my new house. Salesperson was very helpful and professional (I thought at that time...) Wish I had read these reviews before spending the money, my experience with delivery is right in line with many others who have posted before. Was told 2-4 weeks, now at 8 weeks, still no table. I've followed up 8-10 times, was told it was scheduled and confirmed for delivery last Friday 2/16 (note that online status page says delivery window 2/9-2/14). No one came or called, now I've been told sometime this week and that it is still undergoing inspection. Customer service and follow up is non-existent after they get the commission.
