I am exceedingly pleased with the Vitrazza glass mats I purchased for my home office (48×48) and my wife's home office (36x36). One mat is on plush pile carpeting and the other on hard wood floors. The products are as advertised-durable, scratch resistant, high quality glass mats. I highly recommend this product. read more

Excellence in Product, Service and Design I must admit I was skeptical at first. As a long- time interior designer of home offices and work spaces I had my doubts about adding a " glass" floor matt. But it was protecting a fine oriental rug that motivated me to take the plunge and buy my first Vitrazza ( a 48" x 48" Prima Collection - Luminoso ), and boy am I a complete convert. The contemporary look, the protection it awards and the ease of use. Fantastic! I had a delivery issue ( the carrier not Vitrazza) and was blown away by the customer service I received- truly Concierge. Shawna, my customer service rep was professional, polite and empathetic. From now on all my projects will include a Vitrazza matt. They are the perfect fit and solution for my interior design needs. read more

WARD ROAD and 52nd…read more Title: Arrogance I visited this Office Depot location this morning and was struck by how empty the store was and how little the staff seemed to value the few customers they had. As I walked down an aisle, an employee came through pushing a rolling ladder. I picked up on his body language and moved out of the way on my own, without him needing to say anything and without any friction from me. In return, he gave me a hard, get‑out‑of‑the‑way stare that came across less like a busy worker and more like a prerequisite corporate entitlement, as if basic courtesy toward a customer was beneath him. It was an unnecessary power trip and set a very negative tone for the visit. Unfortunately, the same employee rang me up at checkout and reinforced that attitude. The first thing out of his mouth was a demand for my phone number, delivered with the same entitled tone, as if he had a right to my personal information instead of it being my choice. When I declined, he acted annoyed, like my privacy rights were an inconvenience to him, not something the company should respect. He then asked what kind of receipt I wanted. When I said "paper," the standard option, he didn't just process it--he ordered me to press a button to confirm it. I did, but being commanded to push buttons at the register by someone already on a power trip is not customer service. It's condescending and completely unnecessary, and it carries the clear message that the customer is there to obey, not to be served. On top of that, I was then asked if I wanted to round up my purchase for a nonprofit, which I declined and commented that he could round down for me instead. That clearly didn't improve his attitude. At the end of the transaction, he couldn't even be bothered to say "thank you" or "have a good day." No acknowledgment at all that I was a paying customer in a nearly empty store. What makes this even more frustrating is that I actually go out of my way not to buy everything from Amazon. I could have just ordered the notebook online, but I was intentionally trying to support something other than a giant e‑commerce platform. Instead, I was met with pride, arrogance, and an out‑of‑touch corporate mindset that seems determined to push customers away. Going forward, when I do stop by, it will be mainly to observe the cluelessness and how misplaced "corporate ideals" can hollow out a store even faster than online competition.

Just five cuts: two boards of 80" or less had to have a couple of inches ripped the entire length, and three boards simply had to be cut to the proper length (i.e. cross cut). Less than 10 minutes of work. I naively thought that they might not even charge me, but I was prepared to tip the worker $10. Total charge = $80!!! My mistake for not asking the price up front. An employee told me a ballast needs to be replaced. He mentioned it after I asked what that annoying sound was. He said that electricians who buy products there said it wouldn't be too difficult to replace. So Head Honchos, I ask you - why don't you get it fixed? It was obnoxious to listen to for the 10 minutes I was in the store, and I imagine it drives your employees batty. Please fix the ballast and your customers may spend a little more time browsing your products rather than trying to escape before getting a headache from all the noise.

Finally my documents are laminated, but the man can't finish my transaction, because apparently they can only do that on one of the computers they have. So, I wait, while he woman is still struggling to finish the transaction from the guy behind me (it didn't help that he insisted on taking a a phone call while she was helping him, either, so she waited for him to finish his conversation while she was trying to ask him questions). The man, then, takes the female customer that was waiting behind me, and I'm still waiting. Finally it's my turn to checkout. Yay! Really, no one was around to help. It was a pretty disappointing experience.

Dave drove to Evergreen, so beautiful and mostly everything was closed. I stumbled upon JP Total Farmer Market using my trusty Yelp App. They were open until 7:00 and I figured we could get some local peaches and maybe a pie. So we parked the RV in the lot and Dave said let's take Freckles with us. So we entered this eclectic Farmer's Market where there were four inviting rocking chairs at the entrance. Dave went ahead and the owner went crazy over Freckles. They were like if you didn't bring her in we would be sad because we love dogs! It's like Freckles knew it too-she was so well behaved and she got some nice dog biscuits from the lady and ate them immediately! Dave bought a beautiful cherry pie that is homemade and ready to bake. I got a few humongous peaches that were so perfect and grown in Colorado. We talked and they had vacationed regularly on Ft. Meyers Beach until Ian did a number on it! It was so nice to meet these ladies who made us feel so comfortable! If I were a little younger I might consider moving to this inviting city! There is a carousel ride and a covered beer garden. The prices are good for the food and we enjoyed a Nutella crepe and a ham and cheese crepe. Had a yummy mulled wine in the little yellow mug . Was very nice warm drink for the cold night. I think the market changes locations at times and it was nice in the Tivoli square area. Fun date night or night out with the family.
