I submitted a claim with them. I paid they $400 they requested and after a while from the court date I didn't hear back from them. I called a week ago asking for an,update and the guy on the phone told me "you should've received an email" and I never did. The worst part is their communication internally wss horrible because nobody had an answer to what happened with the case. To top it off the person handling my case didn't have a valid reason to why he lost my case. Then told Mr he can contest it for an addtional $800 after I already paid $400 that's not refundable according to them. I was returning to Berkeley from Sacramento while unconsciously I drove 5-7 minutes 92 mph (recorded by Officer) in a posted speed limit 65 mph and traffic flow speed 85mph. The officer stopped me instantly based on point speed without monitoring how long I was speeding and issued a ticket of $477. I hired the lawyer from Ticket Crushers in keeping hope that my fine should be dismissed or reduced as I do not have any past ticketing history and this is the first time I was stopped by police. However, the outcomes from the court by my lawyer did not really make me happy. The lawyer was able to achieve 'no points; and ' no school'. But never request the court to reduce the fine or dismissed the case and issue a warning as the first time violations. I emailed the lawyer just asking ' did you get chance to request the ticket price reduction?' never get the reply back from the lawyer. I paid total $477 (ticket cost ) +325 (lawyer fee) =$802. My realization is instead of hiring lawyer, it would better to go to the court by myself and explain the situation. It will bring much better outcomes if get the ticket first time like me. Never pay for the lawyer, you will pay more. Both will charge you! Best of luck guys to fight the ticket by yourself. read more

Definitely not worth the hassle to hire them and pay them for a service on your behalf because you're most likely going to end up paying for your fine and possibly do some traffic school. This is an emended review. The original review appeared on 2/25/23. After I emailed TC to express my unhappiness with the outcome at trial, the TC lawyer subsequently contacted me. The lawyer affirmed that the officer (who issued the citation) appeared in court. Following cross-examination, the Court regarded the testimony as credible. The Court declined any request for leniency or traffic school - as there was one recent moving violation on my DMV record. The lawyer indicated that certain County Traffic Courts, like Marin County, are reputedly less inclined to allow favorable outcomes for defendants who contest their citations. In two detailed communications, the lawyer made a (courteous) effort to explain the unfavorable decision at trial, along with an offer to refund the retainer fee. Given this very decent (and thoughtful) customer service, I will add two stars to the original rating. Remember: Favorable reviews of services provided by firms like TC do not necessarily predict the outcome for your case. You should inquire as to the reputation of the Traffic Court (and the particular Commissioner) that has jurisdiction over your case. The chances of success may be lower than than you might otherwise believe. read more

I am giving Ticket Crushers one star for removing the point from my record. However, the rest of the service with them has been a nightmare. I received a moving violation in March 2019, and hired Ticket Crushers for help. Apparently, they were able to get the point removed, but they had failed to notify me of this as well as to tell me what the next steps were. (They stated that an email was sent, but I did not receive one.) I then received a notice a few months later stating that the original penalty of $300 has now increased to $614 since the $300 violation was not paid on time. I contacted Ticket Crushers to see what to do next, and they sent me a letter to send to the City stating that I did not receive the information in time to make the original payment, and that the penalty should be waived. I sent this letter to the City and waited. Since did not hear anything from the City after a few months, I reached out to TicketCrushers multiple times for further advice and did not get a response to any of my emails. Today, I received a collection notice for the $614. My issue with Ticket Crushers is that although they provided some basic advice, they not provide any additional follow up. If I had known that the letter that I had sent to the City would make no difference in the City's actions, I would not have wasted my time and energy. I now have to see if this collection situation will adversely affect my credit. Needless to say, I am upset and disappointed in the (lack) of response and help by TicketCrushers. read more
