The indoor portion is mostly music and lights. It's actually really well done. You can push different buttons and witness different light and music themes. I was surprised at how diverse the music was and how many musical choices you could choose. The outdoor version changes over time, but this time I was tracking nine fairies or nymphs, or like creatures, that encouraged harmony and love of nature. I scanned all nine spots and got a free little gift at the end. It's a cool, funky little space. Lots of nooks and crannies. A big papasan swing. Alien like animal sculptures. Plants everywhere. I can't remember what I paid, but it was nominal, and worth the little detour here. It's on Broadway, which parts of Broadway are lively and packed, but this one was a little more dead and vacant. The staff is super nice. The prices in the shop are reasonable for work by independent artists.

This theater has a large full bar, but still offers candy, popcorn and soft drinks. I am a member of Landmarks reward program. I received an email offering a mystery movie for $5 + a small $1.25 fee. This would make the movie 1/2 normal cost. The ticket person and the concessions crew had no information. It was R rated. I saw Fantasy Life released in 2024. It involved life & times of a New York Jewish family interacting with a male nanny (Manny?) in New York and St Martha's Vineyard. There was at least 30 people joining me in the theater. They also screen older movies like Red with Diane Keaton and Warren Beatty being screened next week. I plan to return.

Even little things like the "butter" which isn't even a butter-flavored oil, are just worthless. (Actually: how would I know it's for the popcorn? It's a stainless steel box without a label and push button to dispense. Judging from the taste, I'm beginning to think it was 3in1 oil left out by the maintenance people.) Walking distance from the Starbucks at Broadway and Virginia, this is a large, yet intimate venue for music that has plenty of seating in the stage area and also in the bar. We went there for the Jazz Jam they have on Wednesday nights. Unlike the Blue Jam at Rusty Bucket on Wednesday nights, where seating is limited, the place gets packed and loud, and dancers block the view of watching the band, the Jazz Jam is an ideal venue for people who enjoy watching and listening to quality Jazz musicians. The stage is raised so it's easy to watch the performers. Most on stage were either students or professors of music from Colorado University, and all were talented musicians. One saxophone player (a CU alum?) just got back from a tour with the Glen Miller band. The patrons were 20 and 30 somethings and many of them were there to play in the jam. The jam started out with an hour-long set by the Kat Ellis Quartet, a very talented singer backed by a band of seasoned professionals. The food looks good in the pictures and my hamburger had all the right ingredients, but I ordered it well done and it was almost charbroiled. But their garlic fries were great. I would just order a basket of those for dinner next time. Service was good and they kept coming around to make sure our needs were met. PARKING The jam starts at 7pm and we got there at about 6:30. There was still street parking within yards of the front door. There is also parking in the back, off of the alley. It's a parking lot that is shared by the Italian bistro next door. It's definitely a place I want to visit again.

Unfortunately the actual entrees weren't as impressive. The burger was dry (I was told it was hard to swallow by the end of the meal) and the melt wasn't anything extraordinary. Wasn't worth the price. Would come back for the shared plates and drinks!
