This theater is ok. I only go here for industry events. Parking is free. It's a little dated. There is no free soda refills and the snack stand is very basic. There is a small arcade area. The bathrooms are almost always clean and the workers are always nice. I like their popcorn better than other theaters. They need to update their seats, get new carpets and a new paint job. read more

Horrible. We were lucky we got to see the movie in 70mm because the projector ended up working, but we had to just show up and hope for the best since no one ever answered the phone. This is easily the worst theater in Colorado. It's old, dirty, smells, and the seats absolutely suck. I got kicked through most of the movie. The staff were confusing, unfriendly, and honestly seemed completely unprepared. I know it was a chaotic week, but you'd think they would have anticipated the crowds. Great movie. An absolute disgrace of a movie theater experience for the "70mm IMAX experience of The Odyssey" this past Saturday night. It was our first trip to this theater and we were shocked when we arrived to learn the projectors for the movie were broken and it was digital now with their crappy 2k projector backup. They only offered a full refund or a basic free movie ticket (not imax) with restrictions (had to be redeemed in person). We took the refund and grabbed our $60 worth of food preordered for the movie we couldn't go to any longer. Horrible customer service. Every person should have received a free movie ticket regardless of refund or not due to the lack of communication and transparency. Not even an email prior to the 10:30pm showtime even though it broke early afternoon that day. People drove hours here just for the movie expecting to see it and then arrived to a bait and switch tactic. This theater has clear management problems. They were unapologetic and vague about everything. Regal has always been my least favorite movie chain and this further solidified it. If you want to see what a real IMAX experience is like, check out Jordan's Furniture IMAX in Reading, MA and Harkins Arizona Mills IMAX. Plus, they charge $18 for their IMAX 70mm tickets, not $38! Getting the obligatory "we're sorry" yelp reply from manager Addie just made me drop this down to ONE STAR. You're concerned about my experience? GO IN THE MEN'S ROOM and see what your "guests" are dealing with then CALL A FUCKING PLUMBER. Check out the oil in the unlabeled dispenser for popcorn (it ain't BUTTER, honey). Taste it even. Get new chairs. Original review follows ... the only way I could have been more dissatisfied with Regal is getting this SHITTY apology. Movie fans: try Landmark. They actually CARE about their guests. Original review. When you're paying $60 for a pair of iMAX tickets on a weeknight, get it right. The men's room (left side of the iMAX): all FOUR URINALS out of order. So a line out the door before and after. Must be a consistent problem because this Regal has white fitted plastic bags with the label "Urinal out of order" printed on them. The seats desperately need reupholstered. Even little things like the "butter" which isn't even a butter-flavored oil, are just worthless. (Actually: how would I know it's for the popcorn? It's a stainless steel box without a label and push button to dispense. Judging from the taste, I'm beginning to think it was 3in1 oil left out by the maintenance people.) Had tix to a IMAX 70mm showing of The Odyssey. Regal's projector broke on the morning the day before, and Regal made no effort to inform anyone that the showing we paid for wouldn't be possible until we showed up. They compensated us with a Lie-MAX screening and a voucher for tickets on a different day. The concessions were very expensive, the seats were uncomfortable, the screen was dirty, and they started the movie almost half an hour late (but they still made sure to show us some advertisements). Other than if one of the employees had assaulted me, I don't know how this could have gone worse. read more

Drove 40 minutes to watch The Odyssey on 70MM. Walk in and they announce they are unable to show the movie in 70mm, so you can either watch the digital version and revive a free pass for next time or receive a refund and another free pass. I chose the refund. Come to find out, Regal knew far in advance the movie couldn't be shown but didn't bother to contact customers who'd purchased tickets for the event. Instead, everyone takes time out of their day to make the journey to the theater and wait in line for reimbursements. No excuse for not announcing up front that they couldn't show the 70mm version. read more

Very disappointing experience today to view the Odyssey in 70mm imax. The 70mm projector was broken, but theater offered a free pass and a chance to view it digitally. However, screen/projector went out twice while watching digitally, and about an hour into the movie they cancelled it altogether. 300 people waiting in line for a refund. This IMAX screen by far is the best on this side of denver. But that's where stops. I don't know why they haven't updated their seats in the IMAX theater. It's just sitting straight up in seats that seem like the original ones. The floors were clean. Employees courteous on such a busy night as well. Aside from the 70mm projector being broken you can really tell what a crappy theater this is. Super long line to get in. The voucher they gave out to make up for the 70mm projector no working was garbage. You can't use it online, you have to show up and take whatever seats still available like it's the 90's. Stickiest floor ever. The screen had lines in it that you could see when the picture was very white. It's July and They stopped cooling the theater for the last hour of the movie. 200 people in there and you could feel the humidity of everyone breathing. I was sweating. IMAX 70mm projector went down, right during the start of our show Saturday 1140am. I had to wait in line for two hours for a refund, that I didn't get, as I used Regals own gift cards. I finally got that today, Tuesday afternoon, after a few hours of dealing with it, three emails. I also know, they never contacted others that had tickets after this, till Monday, possible Tuesday, that the projector had failed and they were showing it on their really bad regular imax which is regarded as one of the worst in Denver metro. Many traveled far away for this, they could have emailed those fans and they could have done the refund and cancelled the trip, but their leadership chose not too. Regal, compared to the competition in Denver metro, is more expensive in every single way, yet they don't remodel or improve their theatres. This falls on incompetent leadership, not the theatre employees, who did a decent job at the cards Regal gave them. AVOID REGAL at all costs, you have been warned. read more

Only come here if you aren't used to the nicer theaters with lean-back seats and a bar that serves adult bevies. Come here if you just want to pack all the kids in and watch some family friendly movie. The service was really the only saving grace of this venue, although I can see how it might appeal to families. I've recently moved to the Denver area and I am trying several theaters. I have both the Regal Unlimited & Movie Pass memberships. Yesterday was my first visit to this theater. I went to see Red One (I enjoyed it!). It was a 10:50 a.m. start on a Tuesday and I was the only one in the theater. The seat was very comfortable and the theater was clean. The volume of the movie was perfect (sometimes they are sooo loud!). I've tried 3 theaters so far and this is my favorite to date. I got a tub of popcorn as I was leaving (proceeded to spill 90% on my car floorboard ) and the popcorn (no added butter) tasted great too! read more

Hadn't been to the movies in awhile, but enjoyed coming here to see the Barbie movie with my sister and friends. Had reservations for the movie at 3:30pm and it was easy to check-in. I expected the movie theater to be packed but it wasn't and were able to get popcorn and drinks quickly. Only drawback at the concession stand was that the condiment area definitely needed to be cleaned up. The seats in the theater were comfortable but the volume was too high and it seems like the ads and trailers went on forever. Movie was semi-entertaining and it was an enjoyable few hours going to the theater There was plenty of parking in the garage and it was nice to leave without the car being scorching hot! read more

This is for the imax experience. It parking is free but can be frustrating parking garage and surface lots. It's messy for what could be something so simple. The escalators are broken so prepare for stairs. Lots of them. Buy tickets online in the regal app to avoid Flickster fees. The imax is a really big theatre and it's just the place to go for an epic movie experience. Great sound. Great visuals. Comfortable loge seating. I'd say level G probably gives you the best experience. Level D feels a bit like you are in the front row. Exits at the top and bottom but in an emergency no one is going anywhere fast with a full house. Typical refreshments. Popcorn was ok. Alamo is better. The Friday after Thanksgiving is not a good day to skimp on staff. I have never been to a dirtier theater! It was really disgusting. Lines to get in (prepaid tickets), lines for a drink (prepaid), and once inside, yikes! Almost made me want to demand a refund and find a theater that didn't make me want to get a mask and hand sanitizer, it was gross! Overflowing garbage at every can! Garbage throughout the theater itself. The sound quality was absolutely horrible. Perhaps that is one of the reasons all of the noises around me were so distracting, or perhaps there aren't Speakers near the top, and the other ones were not loud enough or balanced enough? - significantly off. As sad as it is, perhaps an announcement to everyone from a human, even recorded!, to silence your phone, mouth, singing voice, crinkly candy wrappers, on and on would be at least a little bit helpful? - ridiculous. And you wonder why movie theaters are struggling. . . Hmmm. So disappointing. The movie was good, (Wicked) can't wait to see it again in a theater that cares more about the experience. read more

This theatre is fine. We won some tickets to advance screening of GodzillaxKong. Otherwise I have no idea the last time I went to see an in person movie.. Yes parking is a little tight, I definitely agree with other yelpers on that one. The place is next to Dave and busters and a food hall, so of course parking will be tough. The theatre didn't seem hugely prepared for the amount of people coming. There were two advance screenings going on. Everyone had to stand on stairs and wait for ages. The escalators were broken still as well, and looking back it seems it's been broken for 10 months. Once we checked in, they wanted you to go into the theater right away. Not sure why. So the 4 of us found seats (in the H row, I definitely recommend that or higher since this was an IMAX movie) and then went out another door to go get some grub. Wish they had full food and drink service like some other major theaters, though. 2 medium popcorns, 2 medium sodas, 3 bags of candy, 1 nachos and 1 pretzel bites came to $75. Whew glad I won free tickets to the show, eh? The inside was clean enough until people started spilling things left and right. The seats are ok, they did a little rocking and were cushiony. They didn't recline or anything. The sound is definitely loud, if you have little ones be warned, but we got used to it quickly! Service was friendly and the popcorn didn't have too much butter or salt which was nice. We enjoyed the movie and the restrooms were clean which was a plus for me. I found parking outside as I couldn't figure out how to enter the parking garage. I'm sure it was operator error but I got confused by the VIP parking only signage. Oh well. If your coming here because of the advertised big screens and many seats be warned it's because all of the seats are extremely close together and the vintage uncomfortable seats that do not recline, you can physically hear the thoughts of the people next to you that is how close they are. My wife and I recently watched a movie here as we had numerous times in the past. The seats are about like those in a coach class flight, except the cushions are much better. The seats are very narrow, and you practically have to use the armrests. I have bad shoulders and I hate to use armrests. The entire movie I was constantly moving in my seat in an attempt to make my shoulders somewhat comfortable. Sorry, but if we have a choice we won't go back. Other theaters have reclining seats and the possibility of having a meal and adult drink while enjoying your movie. I know seats are expensive, but if you want to remain a competitive choice it may be time to get new seats. read more

I went to see John Wick 4 on Imax at this location. I've been to this theater several times but this visit wasn't the best. There was no one tearing tickets or guiding people to their theaters this day, and the escalator was broken. The theaters are on the second floor so there are a bunch of steep stairs to climb. There is an elevator available though for those who need it. The concession stand was understaffed as most places are post COVID. The wait was long and the employees were trying hard to get everyone their order quickly but it took almost 20 minutes. If you are wanting snacks before the movie I recommend coming early so you have enough time to get them before the movie starts! Imax has reserved/assigned seating but no one really monitored that. Watched a movie here on a summer Saturday night. It was a 7:30p showing and the ticket price was $18.50 (not including taxes & fees). Therefore, I came to expect some basic movie theater amenities, like air conditioning for a fully packed auditorium, but no, that was too much to ask for. It was a hot evening and trying to watch a movie with the a/c on low as well as loads of people sitting around you (I don't think there was an empty seat to be had), it was an absolutely horrible experience! The absolute best IMAX in the Denver area. It's the only true IMAX theater left in Colorado with a full screen and stadium seating. They still have their 15/70 IMAX film projector should any movies be shown in that format (unfortunately, not Oppenheimer... thanks, Universal!). This large multiplex with an IMAX screen is very conveniently located at I-25 & Colorado Blvd. It is next to the Light Rail "E" line. The original lobby is no longer used. Ride the escalator or climb the stairs to the main level where you can buy tickets and get snacks. No alcohol at this theatre. They only accept debit/credit cards at this time. The theatre were I watched "Nope" was well air conditioned, I could hear the blower in my upper seat. The bathrooms were clean. They have a parking garage where they will validate your parking ticket to prevent being charged. "Nope" was a good movie with tension building scenes and musical score in the style of M. Nothing redeeming here, just tons of reasons to avoid. - cleanliness - 1/10 - very dirty, old, smelly - seat comfort - 2/10 - just old fashioned theater seats, not those nice recliners that the good theaters have now - popcorn - 1/10 - tasted burnt and shitty, like they hadnt cleaned the popcorn machine - Parking - 1/10 - extremely difficult, youll need to use a crowded parking structure - price - ? - a medium popcorn and a small drink was 16 bucks after tax...seems excessive? Especially considering the old burnt kernels in there. Leaving as question mark though because I don't know what the norm is nowadays. If you don't buy in to their movie club unlimited movies pass the Ticket prices are wayyyy too much compared to other theaters in the area. While other theaters have loungers, this theater still has what would equate to economy class on an airplane. Small uncomfortable seating. The concession area always seems to be out of the premium snacks like hot dogs, pretzels,or pizza. The staff are always very nice, but regal just needs to give up and close the rest of their theaters if they aren't actually going to try and compete. read more

The film presentation here is usually spot on, though my friend and I have been to two IMAX screenings that failed to begin due to technical issues. Both times we received complimentary tickets to another show and were directed into another theater. Staffing is sparse post pandemic. We have been to two screenings were the ticket takers were the snack staff behind the counter. Staff is typically nice. My real problem with all Regal theaters is that Regal made their current soda contract with PEPSI. Sorry, no one wants a Pepsi with their popcorn, they want a slightly less sweet Coca-Cola. After paying $12 for the movie I settled into the cavernous auditorium with my $10 popcorn. There were about five of us in a huge space so it's a good thing they had us reserve seats. What followed was forty minutes of commercials before we even got to the previews. Some people were smarter than I & planned for this, ignoring the 4:20 start time & showing up a half-hour late. Once the movie finally started, the print & sound were excellent, but even if the movie had been good the irritation of the pitch-fest that preceded it would be irritating. I'm beyond disappointed with this theater. I bought 3 IMAX tickets, and instead of being sent to the IMAX theater, they told me to go to a 3d theater. As I'd never been to an IMAX movie, I didn't realize the error until we were leaving. I emailed regal, and was told in the first email that they would speak with the appropriate people. No offer to make things right. I want pleases, so we exchanged several more emails - one email said that they would add two small popcorns to my account, one said that if I really had an issue, it should have been addressed in the first 20 minutes of the movie (how was I supposed to know that??), and another email offered me two 2d movie passes. I'm beyond livid and think that Regal has the worst customer service I've experienced. In addition, the seats were terribly uncomfortable and I have no interest in a movie theater that doesn't even have reclining seats! The seats in theater 8 were not comfortable, everyone in our group said this and two spaces were sticky. Maybe we sat in an area where it is common to sit and the seats were just worn down, but after watching an excessive amount of commercials and so many previews, along with the length of the movie, I would not choose this venue again for this reason. There are too many other choices that offer full reclining while these are not reclining. There are ticket booths as you walk in, but nobody was there. We went up the escalator and asked two employees who were chatting in the lobby area where we could buy tickets, the answer: the snack bar. Nobody asked for our tickets and if we had purchased them online we would not have understood what theater to go to. read more

Went to see Top Gun today in the IMAX theater. (The movie was great), but the theater not so much. First I didn't get the seats I chose on the app. I should have paid more attention when the tickets were emailed. 2nd, the theater was uncomfortably warm. Lastly the seats felt old. Not like a lot of theaters with the newer seats. I probably won't go back to this IMAX. read more
