The car wash experience has been great, but the sales tactics suck. My husband and I stopped by for a one time car wash. At the start, the sales person told us with a one time car wash, we automatically get a month free. No mention of a subscription, having to cancel anything or even a receipt saying we would be charged again on a certain date. The team member looked at us oddly when we first refused the free month, and told us it was completely free and we should take the extra car washes. We agreed, he put a sticker on our car for the future washes and we went on our way. We stopped and got car washes a few times during the month, multiple times seeing issues with their scanners causing major back-ups or just having people go straight through with no charge. Today, my husband noted they charged our card for the monthly membership. We got no notice this would happen and were outraged to see an over $30 charge, especially when our 1 time car wash was $16. We immediately went to their website to chat with a useless AI chatbot who let us know it's non-refundable and shared a link to cancel the subscription we didn't even know we had. We filled out the form and on their own website a listed reason to cancel is "unaware of recharge" which clearly illustrates that they are trying to scam people out of their money by not disclosing they will be retaining your credit card number and charging it in the future. To add the cherry on top of this already horribly frustrating situation, completing the cancellation form doesn't mean you are cancelled. 50 dollars a month, horrible experience. This place completely screwed me over and then refused to take accountability for the damages. If you live in Clermont and drive a car, KEEP IT FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, they WILL scratch your car and gaslight you about it. I went through this wash one day and upon exiting my car at the wash i immediately noticed huge long scratches spanning the entire length of my car. I accepted that taking my car through a car wash risked some micro scratches, barely visible and common, but not like this. A long thin line, perfectly straight now marks my passenger side across both doors, and on the drivers door several straight lines clustered vertically, obviously characteristic of the rotating side brushes. I believe that stubborn dirt from a previous car was trapped in the cloth of the things cleaning my car, causing the scratches. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I tried to get the attention of an attendant, walking around near my car for nearly ten minutes before giving up, as there was nobody in sight to speak to me and a sign that said (DO NOT ENTER) in front of the office.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I called to explain my problem, they told me I should have found someone in their office while I was there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Where was I supposed to find this mysterious person, If their office is closed off and not a soul in sight for ten minutes? I have more to do than I filed a damage claim that was sent to "corporate" who wasted my time and denied the claim with no explanation. I had to go pay a bunch of money to buff the scratches. This kind of negligence should be illegal. The scratches were very obviously from an issue with the equipment, due to their machine uniformity and abundance. I noticed that they raised the prices a little bit but I do rarely wash my car so it was ultimately fine. Joe did scrub every inch of my car before I entered the wash tho. I know they don't always have the time to wash like he did but he took advantage of the long line in front of me and since I was also the last car in line he really took the extra time to get it all off. As a new promotion they were offering their best car wash $29.99 for $24.99 a $5 off Promo and it was good for a month, but it would automatically renew unless you canceled 2 weeks prior to the start of the new 30-day cycle at the regular price which should have been $29.99 but no now they say it's $49.99 plus tax!! $53.47 [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as I got the alert for the charge from my credit card company I started trying to contact this company by phone and on their website but they don't call you back and their phone system is horrible, I waited an hour before I got through to someone while I was on hold listening to a crazy recording that doesn't respond to you entering any of the selections offered!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I did finally get through, I spoke to young lady named Jenny who said that they could not do anything because the new period had started and I had gone through three times and that if they were to cancel then they would have to charge me $30 for each of those car washes!! But I broke down the math to her; if it's $50 per month and you can go up to 30 times in a 30-day period then it's really only $1.67 for each car wash and I said; well go ahead and charge me $1.67. times 3 and give me my refund for the difference and cancel my membership,but they refused.
