I have ordered from Tides on 3 occasions and they are the best in Hudson / New Port Richey that I have dealt with. The flowers are always full, healthy, and they last a long time...like 1-2 weeks longer then any other flower arrangements I have ordered. I have them delivered to my wife's work and they are always a hit! I have never been in the store or met the people but they are always pleasant and easy to deal with on the phone. As a final note my worst experience was dealing with two different 1-800 type florists so stick with local shops like Tides Florist! read more

From the moment I walked into the shop, I was impressed. I needed floral arrangements for a funeral. Peter was so helpful. He listened to my "story". Then together we decided on the arrangements that I wanted. A week later, when I walked into the service, I almost cried. The flowers were absolutely beautiful! The artistic creativity was remarkable. I thank them for their important contribution to, what turned out to be, a lovely service for the person I loved. Obviously, I would highly recommend them! Disappointing experience today. Ordered a Blazing Sunshine arrangement, which I upgraded to a Premium $96.95 arrangement from the Basic $66.95. What was delivered looks very little like the arrangement I chose, from the colors to its shape to the tacky embellishments that were added. When I spoke with Peter to relay my disappointment, he was intent on convincing me that I got my money's worth on a per-flower basis and didn't seem to care that my issue was that the arrangement looked very little like what I had specifically chosen. I realize that floral substitutions can happen based on availability, but this wasn't the case today. The problem is more about the shop's moving drastically away from the style of the chosen arrangement. When I upgraded my selection, I expected a fuller, larger version of the Blazing Sunshine arrangement based on the website's explanation of what upgrading is, not one with different colors and types of flowers, since Blazing Sunshine was chosen specifically because of its full yellow color and main floral specimens of yellow roses and sunflowers. While the delivered arrangement did have one additional sunflower, the difference between what I ordered and what was delivered was disappointing. The addition of cheesy gold spirals sticking out of the top didn't help. According to Peter, I got my $97 worth, but since I chose a specific arrangement and instead they delivered a very different arrangement, I'm left feeling like I'll try another shop next time and maybe not bother with an upgrade. read more
