I cried in the chair and the doctor continued to work on me, it wasn't until it was evident to all that I was hysterical under the drills they then said "oh it's just a hot tooth" after working on it for 10+ minutes with me crying. Needless to say the root canal was divided in two appointments and completed. Fast forward to 2026, a root canal is needed on the same tooth with multiple doctors asking me "did you go to a specialist the first time?". After the procedure, they informed me that I had a canal that was completely missed in my 2021 root canal and only 3/4 of the canals were properly done. I would recommend finding a different location unless you want a painful, expensive, half done procedure. It's 2026, the doctor is still the same so I'm sure there will be others in the future who will have similar complaints.

She listened to all my concerns and my fears and was reassuring. She made sure I understood all my options and was respectful of my concerns. That made her pain 1000 times worse) Dr. Mears put her at ease, evaluated her condition and set her up for a root canal appointment to follow her 1 week of antibiotics which was necessary to clear the infection. He was amazing with follow up care while on the antibiotics and pain medicine and even made adjustments to her medicine. Even the after-procedure care and communication were top notch.
