Good price yes. You want a written warranty ? Not a chance. Instead of replacing rotted decking around my chimney they just filled it with spray foam.(I have pictures) Now I have water leaking around my chimney into the walls below. I specifically asked for a certain size of gutters and they just installed what they wanted. We were told by the owner that he would come and check into it. A year or so later I'm still waiting. On top of that, what they did install was done poorly. Some to short, all end caps leak ( which I had to seal myself) and on and on. You want a good price ? OK. You want quality work for a little more money ? Pass on this company. read more

I used Tidewater in the Valley last year for a small roof project on our newly purchased old home and was satisfied with their work and the price. I hired them again and had the entire roof on our c.1868 home replaced with a new metal roof, which was deserately needed. Jeff is very responsive, and he and his crew did a great job on the install. You won't find a better company than Tidewater. They put a new roof on our 1850's home in 2016; which was a significant challenge. He originally gave me an estimate for two days and his crew got the roofing done in one. They put a lot of attention into detail and did a great job cleaning up the worksite. I called the owner, Jeff Jones to inquire about an estimate on a new roof. My old roof was three layers of shingles so I needed everything removed and I had leaks so I knew I needed some wood replaced. I also called two other companies on the same day for estimates. Long story short, Jeff's was the lowest estimate, so low I asked him to come back to make sure he didn't miss anything. His guys worked quickly and tirelessly to get the job done, staying until dark on the second night to finish. I am beyond pleased and would recommend him to anyone who needs work done. Let me tell you something about this company. We bought a house on December 2016, we had all Windows replaced. Day1 comes in replace some window, when I say replace nothing is secured just take some of the old put new one, one touch from anybody and everything will fall, smoke iside my house and leave cigarettes ashes behind. I had to call for them to come to at least caulk them from inside, comes few days later does a quick horrible job. Week later they said they are coming to finish everything never showed on the day they were suppose they didn't even call. Their excuse was still waiting on Windows. Finally come back, break a window replace the rest again they didn't caulk all Windows. Wait until the window they broke to replace than come back again they caulk the windows to their low standards. About week later was working on the yard i looked at the windows outside was not caulked.. called them, some came back later that week with an attitude went through it, few days later notice upstairs windows werecaulked from the inside, called them again came back week later with more attitude... I was done with these people until last month when we had crazy rain and hail.. all my windows were leaking inside, I go outside to see the windows and notice the top of the windows wasn't caulked. The wife called and complain, I believe the guy Jeff he is either supervisor or the owner said he'll come either wedensday, Thursday or Friday, like we have nothing to do but wait for them. Guess what again no show no call... I spend money and hired somebody else that done them all in 20 minutes... Please don't even bother with these people they have no clue what they are doing and no customer service at all. This by far the worst company to deal with. I am glad my realtor got to see all this and she is making sure that all her clients will never deal with them. read more

They showed up on time each day and did great work for a great price. We had one fool quote us $17k for a roof, most estimates were $9-10k. They charged $5500. I guess most people don't take the time to get multiple estimates and don't think of getting a company as far out as Front Royal, but it paid off and I highly recommend this company. read more

Jeffrey Jones and Tidewater in the Valley did an awesome job on my roof. I did my thing- got 3 estimates, and was blown away every time. Guys trying to sell me shingles i don't want or need, guys trying to rebuild the roof around the chimney, which isn't needed...and then Jeff shows up. What a nice guy and an estimate that (literally) couldn't be beat! His crew showed up on time, left the jobsite clean, and finished under the estimated time. Thank you Jeff! Very responsive. Had some shingles come off my roof during the last major wind storm. They knew the upcoming weather report was calling for rain and had already decided they were doing repairs before we called them. They answered the phone right away and came out the same day. Their quote was very reasonable and they took care of the 3 areas in less than 20 minutes. They were very professional and courteous. They gave us a current status of our roof.
