Rodney did an exceptional job on our kitchen remodel, which was far from straightforward. We had a…read morelarge soffit filled with pipes and electrical that could have limited the design, but he was able to thoughtfully rework everything into a much slimmer, cleaner look while increasing functionality. What stood out most was his problem-solving skills. He consistently looked for ways to save us money and he was flexible and professional while working through an extended timeline due to unexpected mold remediation. As with any major renovation, there were a few design details to work through, but Rodney ultimately brought our vision to life. The finished kitchen is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We're very happy with the result and would confidently recommend him to anyone taking on a complex remodel!

Rodney partnered with Quality Stone in Virginia Beach, and their service--from selection to installation--was superb. Rodney provided a very fair price and handled every detail, including removing the bar, relocating an outlet, replacing 3 other outlets and installing a new sink and faucet. He even suggested a beautiful backsplash tile and helped me replace a 15-year-old over-the-range microwave with a new Whirlpool at a great price. Rodney is incredibly reliable, punctual, and truly available seven days a week. I highly recommend Full Circle Kitchen and Bath and will definitely call them for out next project

I have had the privilege of working with Monarch Building on a couple different projects. The first…read morewas adding a deck to the rear of the house in place of the old stone patio. The professionalism, quality of work and attention to detail was fantastic. The second project was a bathroom remodel following a failed remodel done by another contractor only 4 years prior. Tony and Terry came in, assessed the situation and presented a plan on how to take care of everything. Again, the quality of work and attention to detail was beyond reproach. Yes, it was an expensive project, but their work justifies the cost. I will without a doubt, hire Monarch Building for all future projects! If you're in need of a contractor, and one that cares about his clients as well as the quality of work being provided, Tony and Monarch Building should be your go to. Icing on top, Tony and crew will even play with your dogs and set them at ease with them being around doing work on your property.

We felt so lucky to have found Monarch Building when we bought our new home. After closing, we had…read moreabout a month before moving in. Monarch was able to repaint the entire interior, replace all the carpet, and convert a combo tile/carpet floor to LVP in the span of three weeks. Their work was excellent quality and Tony was wonderful at coordinating the projects to be sure things were done correctly and in a timely fashion. He was also very practical and made great recommendations that stayed within our budget. We plan on replacing windows in the next couple years, so he advised against any repainting any windows so we wouldn't be paying for them twice. This was our first home and some of these decisions I needed guidance on. Tony and Monarch Building helped us though the process and truly made our home feel like our own.

Got it done in one afternoon and cleaned up the work area. Quote for work and deposit was very reasonable considering he had to get creative with the ramp placement following the curved deck and made it very solid. The family was very interested in how the dog ramp came together. Nick was great about chatting with us while he was working and granny wanting to be the first one to try the dog ramp lol. Thanks again!

BEWARE!!! Never give…read morethis man an advance payment! Hired Home & Land Repairs (Nick) through Yelp for two jobs: repairing holes in the soffit and repairing/replacing the solar panel wiring that squirrels had chewed through, plus installing a critter guard to prevent it from happening again. The agreed total was $850 including parts and labor. He repaired the soffit holes. Throughout the job he repeatedly asked for advance payments, which I reluctantly provided. About two weeks in he requested an additional $800, saying the job was more difficult and the new wiring was expensive. I paid for the wiring myself out of pocket and we agreed to add $500 to the original price. The next day he asked for another $400 advance. At that point I had paid $1,000 up front. He arrived one day several weeks ago to work on the wiring. After a couple of hours he said he was taking a three-hour break and never returned. Later that night he texted that he would be back early the next morning to continue. He did not show up. That was 11 days ago and he has ignored all my attempts to reach him since. This was not the first disappearance. Earlier in the job he left for about a week without explanation. We discussed the need for better communication and he agreed, but the same pattern continued. He has also left my extension ladder propped against the house for several weeks (I had allowed him to use it), a strap still dangling from the roof, and a table set up in the front yard. The solar wiring work remains unfinished and the property has been left in this condition. I expected the work to be completed as agreed and for basic communication about schedule changes. Neither happened. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
