They have always been great with keeping me informed of issues regarding any change that might have to be made. I really really wanted to write a good review but I was a little disappointed with their standard cleaning and the fact that they didn't show up when I hired them for a bi-weekly. Let's start from the very beginning... I sent a message via Yelp and got a rapid response. Shortly after I received a text confirming time and date from Gloria. The day of the appointment, the 2 ladies they sent arrived about 15 mins early. For a standard cleaning it was really fast! Maybe a little too fast that there were a few things that were missed. I have a 1 bedroom, 1 loft and 1 bathroom apartment that's about 900sq ft and it only took them about an hour 15 mins. I asked for additional things (and was willing to pay extra) but they didn't go through it because they were in a rush to get to their next appointment. Of course I communicated all of this to Gloria who assured me she was going to send a detailed checklist of what is standard vs deep cleaning. She never did. Because the ladies were so sweet and I didn't really mind the little things that were missed, I hired them for a biweekly... well fast forward to today. I had an appointment at 9am, waited another until about 1:00pm and messaged Gloria. She told me she was out of town and would find out what happened to my appointment ... well she stated that the workers assigned to me quit and that my preferred day (which is weekend) won't be available for some time. Though she apologized, nothing else was offered. Trying to give this company the benefit of the doubt once more, I responded on the text if they had any weekday evenings available .... 10+ hours later ..... still no response. I hired Tidy Up for cleaning services at my home. I cannot be more happy. Best decision and investment I have made. Maria and her associate did from basic cleaning to cleaning my fridge, walls, blinds. My kids clothes nicely folded. Kitchen squeaky clean. Kids bedrooms omg!!! My kids ages range 9 to 13 and their room can get pretty cluttered. I work all day and so does dad. Workers were very rude, with a sad face whenever they show up to work as if they were being forced. They rush over everything and don't dust or clean well. The owner would charge you over $200 only for the workers to give you half hazard work. Tables and bedheads were all dusty after they finish cleaning. I googled and found a better cleaning company, the charge is lower and included cleaning of the kitchen cabinets, stair rails and sliding doors etc... There was a huge difference in their cleaning pattern and workers are willing to go extra miles, i couldn't help being thankful that i had to buy them lunch. read more

EXPENSIVE AND NOT WORTH IT! I paid for a cleaning! I did not get a cleaning. A wipe down is not a cleaning! Leaving dust on the floor is not a cleaning. Not cleaning fixtures is not a cleaning. Not mopping is not a cleaning. Not sweeping is not a cleaning. Not thoroughly wiping counters is not a cleaning. Leaving large areas of smears and smudged glass is not a cleaning. My home is very orderly, no clutter. The lousy cleaner, Gisela, who arrived late and maskless, ran through my large home, with three bathrooms, like a speedster. Start to finish was less than 2 1/2 hours. She "cleaned" (NOT) my master bedroom AND master bedroom in less than 20 minutes. Then she went on to other rooms and stormed through them just as fast. They too were "cleaned" just as bad. She loosely wiped around decorative boxes on my nightstands and dresser. I guess they were too heavy to pick up (NOT). She left behind dust, specks, smears, did not vacuum well, missed simple stains on counters, smeared every glass she "cleaned," did not touch the shower heads, and missed several areas. I brought addressed these issues with Lucy, she's a joke! She is defensive, argumentative, and quite ignorant. Poor customer service! This company has no quality standards. Today was my first experience with Tidy Up, my third experience with hiring someone to come clean. The other company was alright, but I wanted someone to come do a deep clean and this page had really good reviews. Their appointment booking system online wasn't working or isn't set up so I reached out via their chat box. They responded instantly, which was a good sign. I really liked that they were able to come while I was at work, so I could just come home and relax. The person assisting me added where I would leave the key in the notes and we were all set. HOWEVER, if I didn't have a security camera which allowed me to see the cleaner come and speak to her, I would have completely missed my appointment because she didn't know. I reached out to the company (by responding to an email I was sent the previous night because I was not provided a phone number to directly contact anyone), let them know what happened and inquired about my total cost for the day (as that had not been provided to me either) and what number would I be Zelle-ing the payment to (also not provided) all while I was at work. The cleaner leaves.... and has to come back because she forgot to lock my door. And makes this big obvious show about putting the key under my mat when I had asked that it be dropped on the other side of my porch where people cannot easily reach it (I left for work at 4am when no one was around to see me place it). So I anxiously have my camera on live feed until I get home. I walk in and the first thing that hits me? The wonderful smell. It smells so clean in here. Things were done which I was not anticipating to be done like she did my dishes, nicely set the pillows on my couch, organized the clutter on my kids dressers, made my mantle look tidy and re-made our beds. I paid the extra $30 to have my oven cleaned and it looks amazing. I am floored at what a fantastic job she did. BUT!! There were crumbs all over the kitchen floor and under the table, sooo did she sweep? So after paying $256 to have my APARTMENT deep cleaned, I came home from work to sweep and mop my kitchen because it wasn't done. There were things on the carpet that either the vacuum did not pick up or she missed (pieces of paper, strings, just general kid stuff) so I got to pick that all up. And there is toothpaste still on my bathroom mirror just in a vertical smudge now instead of those dots from spitting. In general, it is okay. It is not a $256 job by any means. But it is alright. Smells nice though. Update: My email to the company regarding the issues was responded to today which was really surprising seeing as it is Sunday so I greatly appreciate that. I was refunded $30 for having to sweep and mop my floor after it was supposed to have been done and the company rep was very apologetic and did not give me any hassle. Its obvious that they appreciate their customers and if they aren't satisfied that is taken very seriously. I'm still only rating it 3 stars for the other issues and perhaps if two people had come, maybe the house would have more of a "deep clean" to it instead of an organized regular clean. Even though perhaps this was an off day, it is for sure some place to hire. read more
