Favorite chicken taco ever! The salsa was HOT! The beans have a little thicker texture and the type of cheese adds a nice flavor. Rice was good and not your run of the mill Mexican restaurant. Shrimp tostada was light with a little mayo underneath. Guacamole was good but a little spicy( not complaining.) Corn shells were so light, I forgot I was eating them. Best meal all weekend!

This is an authentic Mexican eatery in the back of a store, less than 10 minutes north of downtown Lake Geneva. Don't expect much in terms of aesthetics or ambiance, in fact they only have three tables if you choose to eat there. Yet their food is amazing!! Fresh, full of flavor, and beats the numerous nicer Mexican restaurants that we frequent. My husband said this was the best, and I'd have to agree. We had carnitas and steak tacos, Mexican style with onions and cilantro, topped with cheese, a burrito, and guacamole and some really good chips. We had both their mild and spicy homemade salsas which complimented our food well. This place left a lasting impression and is a MUST whenever we're in Lake Geneva!

Marinated pork tacos. American and Mexican style!

Wow finally authentic Mexican cuisine. One of the best places I've been to. We were seated immediately. Bare in mind the actual restaurant is within a market store. The menu has a wide variety of choices from tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. I ordered two tacos, marinated pork, and they were crazy good. Also you can order American style or Mexican style. American has tomatoes, cheese, etc. like something you would get from Taco Bell. Mexican has just onions and lettuce. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Service was ace, and the environment was an aesthetic. What are you waiting for? Stop going to Taco Bell and go to the real places!

American tacos. Mouth watering. I could eat here every day.

OMG AMAZING. We fed a family of 3 for $16! (7 tacos and 2 quesadillas). This little place is super cramped and everyone is speaking Spanish so I have no idea what they are saying but OMG is the food DELISH. We are staying in Lake Geneva for a few nights and we'll probably end up picking up dinner from here tomorrow night too. Can't beat the price. They could totally charge more because it's worth it. I'm in a euphoric state of taco coma right now. SO GOOD. Tip: There is a difference between "Mexican style" and "American style" tacos. Check out the photos people have posted. American style is cheese and sour cream and tomatoes Mexican style is none of those things. My husband got the Mex style and was jealous of my American ones.

You want authentic Mexican food. You found it. If you haven't been here, now is your time. 5 stars all around

Wow! I wish I would of found this spot sooner 5 I am so satisfied and will be telling friends and family about this place! Absolutely outstanding authentic Mexican food and great service. I get irritated trying to find true authentic Mexican food in the Midwest being out in Southern California for the past 6 years. You guys rock!

2 pork tacos, rice and beans for one meal. Quesidilla on right.

Awesome little 6 table resturant in back of grocery store. We got pork tacos and Quesidilla and both were very good. Glad we decided to try this place for some authentic Mexican food. Unfortunately at shortly after noon they were sold out of tamales already.

First timers. I read a lot of good reviews on this place. I love places like this. Grocery mart with a hidden gem restaurant in back. We ordered steak tacos mexican style, and a shrimp tostada. The tacos were pretty good. The beef was seasoned nicely. Though I like my steak a little more crispy. The tostada was hell on earth. Cold chopped shrimp. Very bland. It was worth a try, also the only authentic mexican food that I know of in Lake Geneva. Head to Delavan for many better mexican joints.

The arrachera plate! So delicious. A little tough, might ask for it well done next time. Still delicious!

Delicious little Mexican joint just a few minutes away from downtown. I loved the arrachera plate and the chorizo quesadillas. The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. It's pretty tiny, but that's because it's behind a Mexican store. The service is super nice and friendly. Overall pretty great!

    Tacos Pastor, mexican style!

Food and service very good. But be advised you can't tip waitress from your credit card. Very unfortunate for her and embarrassing for me.

Ambiance: Ambiance and restaurant decor was one of the highlights of the night in my opinion. Lots of neat items and decor - interesting glasses, art, couches/chairs, leather menus, etc. Food: We had the Peruvian chicken wings and the wagyu beef tacos. I thought the Peruvian chicken wing dish was quite good - 9/10. The chicken was very flavorful and the salad was a decent size and tasted good. The wagyu tacos in my opinion was underwhelming for sure. It really tasted like pretty bland meat and the tortilla chips on the side were almost guaranteed straight from a bag (Aldi blue corn tortilla chips if I had to guess ). I wouldn't personally recommend the tacos. If I were to go again, I'd get the chicken wings again, and get the hangover salad instead of the tacos. Drinks: We had the coconut cocktail, the cucumber cocktail, and I had a beer from Nicaragua. All were tasty, albeit definitely lacking punch, i.e. I couldn't actually tell you with a fact if they contained alcohol. The Nicaraguan beer was super light and I liked it. There was a beer from Czechia but it was out of stock.
