A guy (nightclub promoter) found my friend and I walking down the street near Orange Ave around 10pm. He got us in for friend and I checked in with Yelp for one free drink. Which no one seemed to know about the Yelp check-in for a drink but they gave it to us anyways. The place was dead empty. VIP section was roped off with two people in it. My friend and I planned to stay for one drink, we ended up staying for a few. As the night went on we met a few people who invited us to the VIP area which by then filled up. We were dancing, having a great time. There was a group of guys from a fraternity with mink coats on and gold chains. It was funny to see especially being in Florida! I'll admit I felt a bit older than the 20ish crowd. But I still enjoyed the night! I really don't have anything bad to say except the drinks were a little pricey and the front of the building is an eye sore (its all boarded up, except for the entry way). read more

So we paid 20 dollars to get in get over to the bar and our group starts to order drinks. 2 friends ordered their drinks and another person ordered and was told It was 14 dollars. Weird lady in the bathroom selling lollipops...what the heck. So much marijuana in the air, got high from second-hand smoke! They were letting in underage girls, saw two sixteen year olds get in. The music sucked, my SoundCloud rapper of a son makes better music than those beats. I honestly think I saw Kodak black eating fried chicken near a rat in the VIP section I swear this was so weird I left after 10 minutes and spent 40$ on drinks and the millennials walking around with no pants gross. When you are in the mood for good dance music and bass that makes your breastplate vibrate, (that's your sternum) this is the place! Worth the cover, but if you get there when they open, either be prepared to stand around or get on the dance floor alone because the crowd doesn't warm up until about 11. The said crowd is predominately black, but social and we always have a great night here. The only two good dance clubs downtown are this one and The Beacham, in my opinion. Long lines, not really a problem for girls. Win! Got there early, no lines at the bar. Win! DJ, awesome and they have some resident DJs that are just sick and throw some mad dance music down. However, the management, (and/or the bouncers), really need assistance with their communication if they are going to continue to run a club in Orlando. You can not get away with terrible customer service and run a good establishment. I really hope the management steps it up because this has the making to be a fabulous "Miami-esque" club in Orlando... it's just thinking it's the cool kid on the block at the moment and they need to step it up. read more

We rented out a part of the bar for a party. Had a lot of fun. Music was good and the drinks were flowing. We did bottle service. One issue is they try and pour the drinks way to stiff so that the bottle is empty and you order another bottle. Very aggressive with that. We did have a blast. read more

I've only been to this place for major events and it's always been crowded my review is slightly biased. The venue is very packed. On the first floor, the VIP section takes up much of what would be the dance floor. The dance floor is very crowded and people drunkenly bumped into each other. They do have two nice bar areas on either side of the room. There is also an upstairs area where people can't stand and watch the dance floor downstairs. However, this section is only for people who are in VIP. The music is great but the venue tends to get packed and hot. The drinks are not very strong. I paid $10 for the equivalent of juice with perhaps a tablespoon of Crown Royal. I'll Pre-Game before I go next time. read more

I haven't been out to Tier in a while, but I figured it was nice enough for a bachelorette party. Well, I was wrong. First, our party bus driver called us in to the guest list. When we got there, they couldn't find us on the list. We asked whether they'd be willing to waive cover for the bachelorette party. We figured that we would more than make it up in drink sales. The manager offered us a $5 cover. We almost left, but we finally managed to get in (no thanks to the manager). We got there pretty early. It got progressively more busy around 11:30 PM, and we went to inquire about a VIP table. We waited patiently in line... But twenty minutes later, we were still waiting. Well, when we finally got around to ask about minimums, pricing, etc., the guy helping us acted like we weren't good enough to get a table. Fine. Interesting how there were a ton of tables around the balcony that were left unoccupied. After that experience, we moved on to the next club. ATMOSPHERE: It's a "Miami" nightclub in Orlando. It is somewhat nicer than the other clubs in town, which are more like bars. The crowd was a mix of younger newly 21 year olds through to the thirty-something year olds. Apparently, polos and jeans are acceptable in Miami clubs. There's only a small dance floor in the middle of the downstairs VIP tables. DRINKS: The bartenders were pretty good about serving - even if it was busy. Drinks are pretty expensive compared to the bars/clubs in the area. There's nothing fancy about these drinks. Just your standard club drinks. NO, I wouldn't come back here if I can help it. We shouldn't have had to essentially beg to be allowed to purchase bottle service. We could easily have gone to another club with bottle service, but we figured to give Tier a shot. Turns out, Tier has a lot to figure out about customer service. TIPS: You can get a free drink if you check in on Yelp. I guess it's not free if you paid cover. read more

Like many people I got suckered into paying for tickets to see Nas at Tier Nightclub: "10PM-2AM". They packed as many VIP tables into the place as possible leaving virtually no standing room for the show. By 1:45am, no Nas. I check Instagram to find out that Nas is playing a music festival in Virginia the same night! Nas finally arrives at 2am and sings a tired, half-baked karaoke to 4 songs over a balcony before leaving 15 minutes later. This was a classic bait & switch. First I went with my boyfriend and I am guessing that because of the time, they wanted to charge us $45 to enter, so we didn't enter. Then I went with one of my girl friends and payed $10 at the entrance where they were really hostile, I could almost say they were rude. They dont take card and the ATM that they have charges $5 per transaction. After we go in, we try to go upstairs and they tell us we cant because it was VIP ... then come down and everything is closed for VIP. The only space for non-VIP people was very small, 15 people couldn't even fit there. So in the end we left, we were there for literally 10 minutes after we payed. Since they were rude in the beginning we didn't even waste our time asking for a refund... We definitely were very disappointed... read more

I booked a section over a week in advance for new years. It was a complete failure from the front door on in. The door men were extremely rude to me and refused to help me, especially when I booked the section over a WEEK in advance with a $200 deposit. My friend (a woman) had to get involved just to get their attention and lackluster service. Everything was horribly disorganized along with the bouncers being extremely rude. I booked everything through one of the bottle service girls. So I thought everything was in order. It was like we never reserved the section and the door man was taking my name down as if we were booking that night. After an hour of dealing with the incompetent bouncers, we finally made it upstairs to our section. It was full of people who didn't even book a section and had to be cleared out. At that point I was out of patience and we decided to leave. The sad part about this was that it was Tier's chance to attract black doctors to its services. They failed miserably. We had the money to spend but the terrible disorganization of things and unwarranted rudeness of the bouncers was a breaking point. I refused to give any more money to such an incompetent staff. Maybe someone else's experience will be better. But my party and I's experience was beyond terrible. Tier needs better organization from top to bottom and better security and also recognizing when a group is truly there to have fun and most importantly to them, spend money. But with the exception of our bottle service girl who did the best she could, the entire staff at Tier is absolutely incompetent from management down to the bouncers. read more

Tier is fun don't get me wrong I usually go there but the more and more I go the more and more there seems to be issues. The pay is different every Saturday I go sometimes it's 15$ sometimes it's 20$ then I had to pay 35$ before like come on now let's get it together. I had problems with even the girls at the bar not tending to other girls when they ask for water and being completely ignored and trust me I yell . One of the ladies at the bar opens a case of waters and puts them all in front of people so I grab one and I'm standing there waiting to be ringed up to pay and she screams at me and says did you pay for that like no I'm waiting and I have been waiting she snatched the water from me like girl. Orlando is a bar town and most of clubs in town are garbage.. But this is the best club in town. The staff is friendly and on top of it. They do a good job taking care of people. I will say they shouldn't allow people wearing under shirts and baseball caps inside. That does nothing more than lesson the value of your product. All in all they are doing a good job. The area for regular people is very small and makes you feel like you're totally in the way. Also, they advertised no cover before 11, but then said it was "ladies drink free until 12, but it costs $10", ummm that's a cover with a ladies' special. I'm not a fan of nightclubs but this one was pretty decent. It was a big mix of all kinds of people there. The drinks were not overly expensive which was good. The main setback was how small the place was. Even the VIP booths were small and too many random people would be so close to you. All in all it was still a good club. Tier Nightclub could become a rather happening place. Did it fire on all pistons when I visited this place? Eh not so much. Beer I had was luke warm and the music was ok as its more on the techno side than most other places. It was a Saturday night at around 9PM so maybe it needed more time to fill up but given that we were there with a pub crawl there really wasn't a big crowd aside from those attending the crawl. Layout is broken up into two floors with the upper floors circling around the edges of the building allowing for patrons to view down upon the drunken crowd. First floor has a bar, some couches for loungers, and a dance floor. The dance floor is rather limited in space so don't expect to have a crazy night dancing in a huge crowd. I'd say give this place a visit once it's gotten an identity for itself. For now I'll just wait and see how this place plays out. read more

I will never step my feet into his club again. Me and three buddies wanted to see fat Joe. We got here at 10:15. Because it is free before 11. They held up the line and let four people go in from 1015 until 11 o'clock. There was about 100 people in line. I asked the bouncer why they advertised free before 11 then purposely held the line up and he said and I quote, "sorry but we have talent here that we have to pay for". I was in Orlando celebrating my sisters bachelorette- Left before We got a drink because I stood in front of an empty bar and the two bartenders pulled out their phones and were involved in their own conversations rather than waiting on us. On top of that, their bathroom was flooding- we tried to tell one server and she put her hand in our face and said she doesn't deal with the bathrooms. I'm a bit surprised by the reviews here but I would give this place 5 stars over and over. Before last night, I would say I've been to Tier about a dozen other times. It's a bit more classy than the other places downtown & cover would be a bit more, but hey...people are dressed much much better and you don't have 18 year olds creeping on you like at other places. Honestly I would've given this place a 3 star from previous experiences, but last night blew me and my party away. I went to Green Velvet last night. I preordered tickets for myself, my boyfriend and two other friends. We got there around 11:30 and to our shock the line was down the block. I didn't even want to wait in line, not even walk down enough to see how far it went. One of the bouncers said it would be an extra $20 to skip the line. Without question all four of us went to the nearest atm and withdrew the cash. There was no way we were going to miss Green Velvet. We were planning on this night since Tier announced he was coming for their two year anniversary a couple of months ago! To our luck, the guy who said we could pay $20 was no where to be seen. Were we getting played? It seemed like the start to a very bad night. Then, Ruben - who handles all VIP.. said that there were tables available. Within 2 minutes he told us the exact price, how much it would cost between all of us, and where exactly we would be seated. We only got 1 bottle between the 4 of us so we only got a high top, not an actual table. After some discussion, it seemed way worth it. We would be in our own secluded area and we had our drinks taken care of! We went upstairs where we saw three high tops tables in the far left with two VIP tables - one of which was empty. Our VIP guy introduced us to Ashley (who is beautiful by the way!!). Jeremy and Ashley got our bottle, mixers, etc right away. Then BOOM Green Velvet came on. We had drinks in our hands and the vibe was just right. Hey! We were even right next to the AC. #BLESS The night continued and at about 1am another VIP guy said "Hey do you guys want to sit?" All of us nodded. "The VIP girl said you guys were nice so we will upgrade you to a table at no additional cost!" TALK ABOUT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I work in hospitality and coming from someone who handles difficult customers on a daily basis, this one took the cake. We had a great view right by the railing. Tier went above and beyond to provide me and my party the best service possible. I never felt neglected and whenever we needed something, someone was always there to offer service. I once made a VIP table reservation for Gilt a week prior to a show there. It was a mess. No one helped me for thirty minutes. The guy I reserved with was nowhere to be found. No one greeted me or made me feel any different than general admission. I had someone who didn't even work there assist me in getting my table.
