We were able to help ourselves to some delicious chips and salsa while we waited for our food. The chips and salsa were not spicy and absolutely delicious. The place suffers from being a military course out in the middle of nowhere that needs to be self sufficient and not having enough members/return customers to generate the income they need. Overall its a fun place for a round of golf. The greens are small, but there aren't many hazards and it's a reasonably easy course to play. What water there is doesn't really come in to play except for the 12th hole, and even that's not too bad if you aim a little bit right! Every so often the drink cart makes its rounds and the snack shop is pretty well stocked for beer, a sandwich at the turn or a sit down lunch at the end of your game. The food is decent, the pastrami burger is overrated and breakfast is not bad!

The greens were fantastic and very fast, and the course was just beautiful. Sunset was brilliant- with a desert Mountain View.
