Since then, they've consistently provided incredible service. Annie, Ms. Vicki's daughter, is the best hoat ever. Madi and Chanel usually do my nails, and they are phenomenal. They're talented, detail oriented, and always make sure I leave happy. I've also had appointments with several of the other technicians over the years, and every single one has been fantastic. There was also a 20% off coupon listed online and displayed on the counter. When I asked about it, the woman at the front desk told me they were no longer honoring the promotion. She said she didn't know why the signs were still up or why it was still on the website. During checkout, she seemed more focused on her phone than on helping customers. My card didn't go through the first time, and she barely looked up to assist. I ended up just using tap on my phone to pay and get out of there. I wish I didn't have to spend the time to go back, that it had just been done right the first time, but at least they asked for the opportunity to fix it and they did. A sign at the front desk announced their recent price increases, citing new plastic linings for pedicure tubs and sterilized sets of cleaning tools for each customer as their reason for the uptick. I don't know about the next person, but I'm more than happy to pay the slightly-above prices for a mani pedi if it means that I get to listen to the delightful noise of a technician ripping open a new set of tools for me as they send it into the delicate nail beds of my hands and toes. Speaking of prices, regular pedicures are $20, while an extra five dollars affords you the spa pedicure, which means ten extra minutes of pampering. I've visited twice already and both times, I was happy with the level of care and attention to detail. On my second visit, I chose a pale white color and was impressed with the way Anna carefully studied each nail after the requisite two coats and brushed a third, even fourth coat on some nails to ensure even coloring. Both times, I opted for the spa pedicure. Today, I was a little disappointed by the soft massages and the careless toweling but my last visit had been far more luxurious, with a full callous remover, hot stone massage, and an intense calf and foot massage that made the back of my head tingle in the most delicious way. It would seem that the quality of your spa pedicure really depends on two factors: (1) your technician, and (2) how busy it is. M Nails seems to be a popular destination (in fact, it would seem that most of the cars in the lot are their customers), so definitely call ahead and make an appointment if you can. Also, if their sanitary methods and skills don't persuade you to pay a visit, perhaps the promise of free soda, wine, and mimosas will get you through the door. It brings the salon experience to a new level of relaxation that I, for one, plan to return to again and soon.
