After spending $1,800 in their shop, they won't even answer their phone nor return my messages. I'm embarrassed to say this is the second time they've done this to me. And that's where you go wrong. The reason why I didn't reach out is the reason you're providing. I've noticed everytime you get a bad review, instead of being compassionate and asking question, you get defensive. And instead of going through that drama, which I personally don't want, I rather warn other people. For 1700 there shouldn't be an ounce of synthetic, I've purchased wigs for a quarter of the price, and they have withstand better than what I was sold. Yes, I was told about the heat, but to add 250° and it still frayed. And you truly think that 1700 is not a scam for that. Again, I have pieces for a quarter the price and I'm able to do more with, and they cost around 300, not synthetic blend. Even the highest quality of synthetic does not fray at 250°. read more

Have always thought of Tiffany wigs as the best place to go for a wig! health made it necessary to purchase a wig pros: Great selection patient sales personnel many choices cons: service the reason that I was not pleased with the service: As a novice to the whole wig experience I relied on the salesperson to guide me. Loved the wig we found. had been so uncomfortable and embarrassed to buy a wig problem was that the wig was too big for my head and kept sliding off. called and was given an appointment 2 weeks away. My husband went me. salesperson acknowledged that the cap was loose. she recommended stitching the wig tabs . she did NOT stitch it! I am handicapped and unable to sew. self conscious to revwal I wore a wig and ask someone to stitch it. my husband and I tried without success to adjust the size of the cap. Frustrated I called Tiffany again for an appointment. Left a message and the call was answered by a receptionist. She said I had been in 3 times( Only 2 to purchase initially and to seek an adjustment to the cap. ) she said there was nothing that could be done. suggested that I wear clips or Bobby pins - again not possible for me to accomplish as I have only one hand to work with. Finally convinced her that I wanted to have help with the fit. was willing to pay to be seen! went in and the salesperson assisted and did some stiiching at the back of the cap. After a bit of prodding! Left but that had not fixed the fit! Frustrated and taken back with the attitude of Tiffany staff. went to a some one who was adapt at making the necessary adjustment. she stitched the whole cap to tighten Finally I can wear the wig with confidence! two things to keep in mind if you go there: not wheelcare/handicap accessible. I called Tiffany's for an appointment in July, the first thing that was said to me was I just want to let you know our toppers start at 750.00 and our wigs start at 650.00 so basically dont waste our time, that should have been a bad sign right the. Sio I did make an appointment. I wanted a topper, i tried on a few and sales woman said they all looked great even though they didn't. After being convinced by two employees I purchased a topper, I said it feels big, the clips were on the side of my head she said it was fine, well after some researched the clips should be on the top of the head, after payping 1100.00 was told sale final,,, This woman just wanted to make a sale she miss lead me. Don't go there you can buy the same wigs on the internet for 200.00.Hair loss is not fun and very stressful. 1100 for a topper never worn. They don't care they just want the sale read more

I'm so sad to write this bad review but I feel I have to. This is a field where the person coming into your store may be going through a hard time in life, feeling sensitive or vulnerable. I had a really tough week and feeling very emotional with my hair. Decided to get up and visit a shop/store where I could look and buy a wig in the hopes of helping me feel better and boost my confidence. I called twice in the morning to make the appointment and no answer, decided to drive and go in. As I walked in I was greed by two ladies. One asked if I had the appointment, I explained I tried calling but no answer. One of the ladies said "well I'll help you , how can I help you". I looked around and wasn't sure how to explain my whole situation to the lady in a few words. So I said "I want to look at some hair , have been having a tough time with me hair" - she looked at me and said "is it an emergency?" I was so confused asked her what she considered an emergency, she then said "if you are not buying the hair today , right now and it's not an emergency I'm sorry but I can't help you" . I was extremely confused and felt so low and in disbelief of how I was treated , not sure if it's because I'm 32 or because I did not look like my hair had complete fallen out.. but I felt very hurt and left the place crying. I'm not sure what she meant with that short interaction we had, maybe it was my fault ? Whatever it was or happened - it just made a hard week harder. I will never, EVER given another dollar of business to Tiffany for Women. I recently required a wig for health reasons for the first time in my life. Rapid onset and quite traumatic. Needless to say I was a bit emotional. I was aware of Tiffany's for women and so I called and made an appointment. The woman who "helped" me could not have been more rude, less sympathetic or less helpful. I was never offered a private room. I was never offered or even saw any tea or cookies. There was no serene music playing in the background. And when I burst into tears because I was overwhelmed with being thrown multiple wigs in rapid fire trying to force me to make a decision, I was told "Well, I'll be over here when you're ready. You can come get me". Thankfully I was not alone and had the support of my husband. Once I gathered my composure the woman did assist me but frequently left to attend to something in the back room. What it was I don't know but she often just walked away leaving me there out in the open only to appear later to say, "well, have you decided". Because she knew it was my first experience in wig wearing I expected her to educate me on how to properly wear a wig, care for a wig etc. Nothing. If it weren't for my level thinking husband (as I was too in shock to think) I would have known nothing. He thought to ask very specific questions and made note of the answers. I was desperate at the time so I did purchase a wig there. To the tune of 600 dollars. The saleswoman made no mention of the fact that my health insurance may cover the cost. (I found that helpful tidbit out from another, very friendly wig shop owner in Westport Mass weeks later.... and it turns out I have coverage). Instead, I was handed a copy of their "no return" policy and told to "read and sign". No verbal explanation. Then my 600 dollar hair was thrown in a bag and handed to me. I cannot and will not ever recommend Tiffany's for Women. To be fair, I have had nothing but great experiences in the past next door at the Tiffany's hair salon. But shopping at Tiffany's for Women is like going over to the dark side. read more

I recently purchased a long wig. When I first began looking, I made it clear that I wanted something shoulder length; layered. I picked out wigs in the regular size at first. It was quite clear by my selection what style I wanted. I ended up needing a large wig, my selection became. Dry limited as is 99 % of wig dealers. It was presented to me that they do cut wigs and that it was complimentary. They also advertised that they could straighten the wig as it had soft curls; I wanted straight. I was clearly under the impression that they would cut the wig to my liking. Once seated in the chair with the stylist, with MY wig, the stylist cut the bottom of wig straight across. When I asked for layers, I was told;"we will only cut the BOTTOM layer. Well, I could have done that! I basically owned this wig now. I was then told that they could not straighten it. After paying for it, they told me that if the wig get tangly within a 4 month period, I can bring it back for a complimentary "defrizzing"----this would STRAIGHTEN the wig. If I wanted the curls back, it would take longer. Ok---conflicting info?!?!!!! I had an appointment. I am NOT happy with a wig that was OVER $1000.00!!!!! This upsets me that companies are treating customers that most have a medical issue like this. We are dealing with enough; let alone once you are in the chair and scissors are applied to the wig; it is YOURS! I understand that there have to be guidelines. Perhaps these owners should have a written document that specifically spells out what "cutting services they offer in detail and regarding straightening! We as customers have to sign a written statement regarding ownership, etc. Let's make it a two way street. A bad reputation cannot be fixed easily. I rarely ever make any comments online good or bad; but this type of service needs to have regulations for the consumer too. read more

My sister is losing her hair so my other sister and I went shopping for a wig with her. She saw Tiffany for Women advertised online and made a reservation there. I checked the review and didn't have much confidence since it did not have a positive review, nor did I expect much. To my surprise we had a very pleasant experience. A woman whose name is Kara was the person that assisted us. She was extremely patient and knowledgeable. She took her time with my sister and my sister was very pleased. Kara did not rush us in any way. My sister walked out with her wig on and is very pleased. Her wig was pricey but she, my sister, felt it was worth it so she could go out without a cap on. This is the second hair piece I have purchased from this business. The first was when I was in my 20's. Back in those days the piece was called a fall. My natural hair color and fine texture was matched perfectly and I wore that thing for years until my hair turned gray and I started coloring. I loved it. Now in my 70's I remembered my old friend and I wondered if there was anything they could do to match what I've got left of my thinning gray hair, but I couldn't remember where I bought it! I tried a number of places through the years but the pieces all looked cheap and phony. Too much hair. Then a friend confessed she wore a hair piece that came from Tiffany's, and I remembered. I dropped in to take a look around and walked out with a beautiful (expensive) topper that matches my gray hair perfectly. It looks great and I couldn't be happier. It sits on top and I blend my own hair in the front and sides. I get many compliments when I confess it's a hair piece. These folks have been in business for many years they are professionals and they know what they are doing. If you are not sure, try one on, think about it and come back later.
