4.5 stars Overall I had a great experience working with the owners of this place and booking a bridal shower for my friend being out of town. I called, they gave me a quote and several days to decide. Once I decided, they send me a contract through email and I mailed back the contract with the check. The place is amazingly beautiful. The room was decorated very nicely. The staff were all very young, probably high school students and greeted us outside in the cold. Once everyone was inside, they service our food. The scones were delicious, tasted home made and the jams and creams were equally tasty. The sandwiches were okay, a little dry but the deserts were just as good as the scones. My only beef about the whole experience was that they used Stash tea bags for the afternoon tea. I mean anyone could buy those tea from the supermarkets. If you go to a place designated for afternoon tea, you would expect at least some loose leaf teas allowing the customers to smell, appreciate, and enjoy all the different tea flavors. If they had loose leaf tea, it would elevate the whole experience ten fold. Also, they had some sort of punch on the side, with no explanation and the punch pitcher did not work so guests couldn't really enjoy it until the very end. The house can host two parties, one on the second floor and the other one on the main floor. The owners live in the same building. There are plenty of parking at the house and also across the street because the owners own that too. read more

I am so glad I chose this venue for my best friend's Bridal Shower. From the beginning, Corrine was amazing to work with and was so accommodating in meeting all of the requests I had regarding the date, menu, and decorations. She was always available to speak and no detail was too small for an instant response. The day of the shower went seamlessly! I arrived early to add personal touches, but the entire space was set up for me as soon as I arrived and the staff was so accommodating in helping with anything I needed. As the guests began to arrive, they helped to greet everyone and it was both causal and formal at the same time as the staff passed around breakfast pastries for our brunch and refilled mimosas for everyone to grab upon arrival. When it came time to move into the next room for brunch, one of the two waiters working with us that day made the announcement and helped to guide everyone to their tables. The tables were set up beautifully! We chose to have the "mismatched tea cups" instead of the white ones and every guest commented how adorable and unique they were. The waiters brought a box of assorted tea bags over for each person to choose and everyone loved it! Originally, I planned to use the silk flowers as the centerpieces for the tables, but we upgraded to fresh cut. Even the silk flowers were beautiful and elegant- Corrine has beautiful taste in every piece of decor. Throughout the entire event everyone kept asking how I found out about The Tiffany Juliet House. Everyone was so impressed with the amazing service, the attention to detail ( the light fixtures, the carpet, the window treatments, molding- everything is beautiful inside). I cannot thank Corrine and her team enough for helping to make my friend's bridal shower such a wonderful and memorable event for everyone. They went above and beyond in planning and executing a flawless day and I can go on and on about how spectacular everything was- the food included! read more

Was looking for a venue for my bridal shower that would have a "tea party" theme. With all my searching, this was one of the first places to come up! I had no idea this place existed and I am so glad I found it. We ended up having a Bridal Brunch on a Sunday and it was perfect. Mimosa table right as guests walked in, omelet station, etc. My bridesmaids were able to do all the decorating themselves, but you don't need much with the character in this historic home. Everyone was impressed when they walked in. Great venue for a bridal shower, baby shower, etc. Parking is a bit of a mess but staff is very helpful when guests arrive. read more

I came here for a friend's wedding. It's not my cup of tea- too many separate rooms. If you want to sit at your table and watch the dancing, it's not an option. The bar was in one room. The dance floor in another room. And the tables in a third room. Just very choppy. However!! Food was great and service was great, so if you don't mind the separation, it's a great option. I hosted a Bridal Shower at Tiffany Juliet House on 4/2/16 and it couldn't have gone more perfectly. Corrine and her team were super welcoming, helpful and attentive. Bill even went out of his way to sooth our nervous bride who doesn't like being the center of attention. We did an afternoon formal tea with soup, salad and finger sandwiches with a champagne welcome and the food was wonderful, the drinks were perfect and we couldn't have had a better day. Corrine's attention to detail made everything go smoothly and we never felt rushed or out of place. My mom and sisters had my bridal shower here this past weekend and it was just beautiful! The house itself is gorgeous with perfect windows, floors, fireplace, and couches. What makes it extra special are the little details. The little hidden corners, the individual teacups at each place setting, and the food...oh the food. There were many things that stood out about the food but the best thing I ate was the ricotta and strawberry stuffed french toast! It was heaven. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Attended a Bridal Shower here recently. (35 guests). This was my first time here and I was so pleasantly surprised. From the moment of arrival we were greeted with fresh mimosas in the main lobby. We were seated in the lovely dining room and served a nice fruit cup. The wonderful brunch consisted of fresh made omelet station. Everything was well orchestrated and went along without a hitch. The bride to be opened gifts and then guests were offered a lovely tray of petite fors & coffee to wrap up the meal. All rooms of this venue are decorated in lovely fashion, even the restroom. My mother and bridal party recently threw me a "Breakfast at Tiffany's"-themed bridal shower at the Tiffany Juliet House and I could not have asked for a better location for my bridal shower to be held. Every guest left saying it was the "best shower they have ever been to" and gave rave reviews about the food! THE SPACE: The house itself is absolutely beautiful- it's over 100 years old and Corrine and her husband, Bill, have made it into a beautiful event space-- maintaining the charming, vintage details while being modern and having a perfect layout for hosting events(it's also a green building and environmentally friendly!) It's obvious that this venue was a work of love as evident through all of the fine details-- from the silk-wrapped light bulbs, beautiful chandeliers/light fixtures throughout, custom-designed curtains, perfect full-windowed alcove for displaying a cake, and the list goes on and on! On the day of my shower, after walking up the stairs, onto the porch and through the front door, you step into a beautiful, light-filled room with a table set up full of mini scones, muffins and croissants with sweet cream butter and jam, coffee/tea and additional tables/couches for seating- so guests can mingle and enjoy refreshments-- there's a charming china cabinet with vintage teapots/cups on display and a fireplace where childhood photos of us were displayed. Walking back into the main ballroom, there's ample space( I believe it can seat somewhere around 80+ people?), chiavari chairs, and each table had the most adorable vintage teacups! Overall, the entire space was perfect space-- it was so bright and airy (every photo was beautiful because the lighting was amazing)! One of the best things about the space, is the privacy- the entire venue is yours for your event. THE FOOD: DELICIOUS!! For my shower, there were two options chosen for meals-- Eggs Benedict over Crab Cake with Charon Sauce or Strawberry and Ricotta Stuffed French Toast with Vanilla Infused Syrup(my mom said that she was given a long list to choose from with a wide range of options). I had the strawberry and ricotta stuffed french toast- it was probably the best stuffed french toast I've ever had(often times with fillings- they tend to be overkill and so sweet that you feel sick after eating)- it was the perfect ratio of strawberry/ricotta, the french toast was perfectly cooked and not soggy! The bacon was nice&crispy(I ended up trying to steal some of my friend's bacon if they weren't fast enough-- I'm the future bride, I can do what I want ;-) ) As for the eggs benedict over crab cakes- it looked delicious, I didn't get to sample this but everyone said it was delicious! My Aunt and one of my bridesmaids have celiac and they were able to prepare absolutely delicious gluten-free variations! SERVICE: As I hadn't planned the shower, my mom filled me in and said that Corrine was so quick to respond to every email/phone call, was very flexible willing to do whatever you wanted and an absolute pleasure to work with. Throughout the entire event, Corrine took a very hands-on approach, making sure that everything was running as it should/making sure everyone was happy. I just had my daughter's first birthday party at the Tiffany Juliet House and it was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish my dealings with Corrine were so easy. She is easily one of the nicest most accommodating people I've ever met. I told her exactly what I wanted and she went above and beyond to make it happen, even suggesting more details to make my vision perfect! The party was Shakespeare/ medieval themed since my daughter's name is Cordelia! We went over twice where all the decorations would go and how the food would be served, how we were going to set up the tables! I just loved being included in those decisions. On the actual party day, Corrine told me I could arrive early to set up so I took her up on that offer. I was allowed the entire upstairs which was huge! To get dressed in my medieval garb and get the decorations ready to be hung and placed. Once we got all that done, the party started! The passed butternut squash soup shooters were delicious and the cheeses were so yummy. There was sharp cheddar, Gouda, blue cheese, and Havarti dill with a different yummy cracker for each cheese... so not your average regular cheese plate by any means. After cocktail hour we went to the dining room and were called up by table to the pasta station where there was make your own pasta with delicious fresh ingredients and your choice of sauce and sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked. There was enough food for everyone in my party (48) to enjoy seconds! The wine was delicious all the food was great! After we sang happy birthday to my precious girl, they cut the cake we brought and brought out coffee. Everything was wonderful, we played charades and the kids enjoyed themselves. Everyone had fun. At the end of the night, Corrine let me choose one of her awesome teapots that she had setup as the centerpiece for the table. So my daughter got her very first teapot. I could not be more pleased with how everything went. I felt like I was home for an evening being catered to. It was great! read more

I live in Glastonbury and every time I drive by this elegant and impeccably maintained charming and old world home, I wish that I could be part of this. I was a restaurant manager for years in a lovely upscale restaurant in Marblehead Massachusetts. This feeling of nostalgia is all encompassing as it reminds me of these wonderful days. We had a Baby Shower for my niece at the end of April. Corinne was extremely helpful with suggestions for the cocktail/guest greeting time. She suggested pink champagne for the guests, which was very nice because my niece is expecting a girl. My niece is "gluten free" along with a few of the guests and Corinne was helpful with meal suggestions. The food was amazing and the staff was friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. The venue is warm and welcoming. We were able to decorate it with items that are meaningful to our family. I would strongly recommend this venue for any type of celebration. I recently attended a wedding at this facility. It has a romantic setting in a nice location of Glastonbury. We had a great time and I think the couple did as well however there are things I wanted to address for people who want to have a ( WEDDING ) and not just a brunch. The food was good, as well as the service. The actual house is 100 years old and has some character to it. However as a bystander at this wedding, I noticed ( whom I now found out to be the owner ) to be disruptive, outlandish, I noticed she rushed the couple and for that fact of the matter the evening, and it just created such a negative setting not to mention many of the guests felt she should of been out of the picture and just should of let the evening play out. She acted like she was a wedding planner whom was trying to control every moment of the evening. This is a great place, if your in your 20s, to gather with your friends for a brunch or small dinner. The owner of this venue cannot handle more than that nor can the venue itself. So beautiful inside and out, but for the money I would invest in spending more time to find some place that cares and caters a little more than I saw for myself. I hope this couple did not lay out good money. In the end I think its a waste if they did. read more

Lovely, quaint and intimate, this is the perfect location for a shower. I visited from out of state for a baby shower today and was very impressed by the quality of the food, the service of the staff, and the cleanliness/decor of the venue. Even the bathroom was impeccably clean with modern finishes- a nice touch. The table of mimosas in the sunny front room was elegant and decorative. My only complaint was that they ran out of ketchup for the hash browns and eggs, a must-have for breakfast! read more

What can I say, Corinne and her team were meant to host our special day! This venue is spectacular and had everything I could have ever wanted to have the perfect wedding setting. All of the guests were comfortable and felt as if they were at home when greeted by the warm fireplace, Jazz music echoing through the house, and the brightness of the smiles from the staff who were available for valet services and assisting guests into the house. The ceremony was completed without a hitch and Corrine was able to play my very own wedding song when walking down the aisle. She was even able to play our exit song which really got the crowd going! The breakdown of the ceremony staging and the set up of the brunch staging went quick as we were reintroduced into the area once the set up was complete. Every menu item chosen for the food was amazing and having freshly made omelettes were the icing on the cake! Speaking of the cake, divine, and perfectly designed. So delicious, perfect amount of sweetness, and was easy on the tastebuds. I could go on and on about this venue as I truly picked the perfect place to have my wedding. Perfect venue for a rehearsal dinner, shower or small wedding. The house is beautifully renovated with lovely woodwork, very light and bright. Great layout keeps guests together for various stages of the party so as to maintain a good energy level. Food is wonderful - I went for a bridal shower brunch and everything was delicious: omelets to order, stuffed french toast, fresh fruit salad, and no shortage of thick-cut bacon. I attended a baby shower at the Tiffany Juliet house today and I have nothing but wonderful things to say! First of all the location is so lovely, the food is incredibly DELICIOUS, and with delightful touches (heart shaped pancakes) and terrific service. I do have to say that the people working there are just super kind and dedicated people. I arrived extremely late, and someone came outside to greet me, show me where to park and walk me in so I wouldn't disturb the other guests. I was very flustered, as I had been lost, and was so sad that I missed half of my friends baby shower, and they treated me as if i was THIER friend or family member coming to the event. They had even set aside a plate of food for me so I didn't miss out on anything. It was really above and beyond hospitality and service and just really kind and caring. I said to the mother to be, that I felt like she was having her event at a restaurant that was hers, as everyone was looking after her (and me, the latest guest!) so well. I rarely write yelp reviews, and I was planning to send the team a card to say thank you, but wanted to share this so others know what a great choice this venue would be for any event. On Saturday, May 20, 2017 I hosted a bridal shower for my daughter. We had an afternoon tea with cheese and crackers, wine toast, stuffed french toast, quiche, salad, fruit salad, scones and other treats and we could not have been happier. We had a bridal dress cake made from cupcakes which was beautiful. Corrine is very willing to help you plan your event and understands the vision you have. She is very experienced and provides good suggestions as well. She is able to see what you are hoping for and makes it happen. Corrine, Bill and their staff work very hard to make sure everything is perfect for you. The venue, food and presentation are excellent. Guests were complementing on the shower all afternoon and continue to talk about it days later. At the end of the shower my daughter said it could not have been more perfect. read more

All my guests have been raving about how beautiful everything was and the food was excellent. As guests arrived they were greeted in the foyer where there was a table with mimosas, orange juice and cranberry juice. Petit fours and mini muffins were also on display and a beautiful fire was lit in the fireplace. After a while we moved to the dining area where each place setting had it's own individual Victorian tea cup. The room was bright with antique accents and more than enough space for our party of 35 guests. The chef was on standby at the buffet area explaining what each item was and everything was absolutely delicious! The staff was helpful and attentive, assisting people by carrying presents in , telling people where to park, taking guest's coats, clearing plates, refilling coffee......... Top notch in every way. I could go on and on. When looking at venues for this shower, we wanted something special and something different. Tiffany Juliet House really fit the bill. We had a wonderful brunch with mimosas, made to order omelets, and many other wonderful treats too numerous to mention-except for the ricotta stuffed French toast, a universal favorite! Hostess Emma is amazing--personable, outgoing, and fun--as she helps move people to the front of the house for a group picture, through the buffet, and through the entire event. Paul, wearing white gloves, was so classy and attentive to serving guests, while Mike was so friendly as he helped guests park their cars, escort them to the house, and bring in their gifts from their cars. The Tiffany Juliet house itself is such a distinctive, lovely Victorian house decorated elegantly with little touches like a fire burning in the fireplace, china teacups, and soft cream walls, curtains, and sofas. Your event will feel as if you are having it at home with these warm touches. My guests raved about the food, the service, the setting, the whole event! Above all, my daughter felt so special and pampered; the entire shower made her so happy to see her guests so delighted.
