I have never been treated so poorly. Been coming to this salon for years every 3 months weeks for nails and pedicures. I have sent so many clients to them. Ever since my nail lady left to go work for herself they have treated me awful. I still gave them my business for pedicures. Tiffany is a money hungry woman who tried to rip u off every few dollars she can. They say its $7 for french but charge me $10. The last time i was there she told me my total was $60 then i handed her $70 and she refused to give me my change and said i gave her $60. I told her to check the camera and she did and saw i gave her $70 and didnt apologize just said ok and walked away like a coward snake. Today i called to book a pedicure because i do like going there. I usually book with Anna (who is a wonderful lady) because she does an excellent french. But today my nails are all broken so just getting a regular colour so i would go to anyone. When i walked in for my appointment tiffany said no we cant have any of the other girls do your pedi cause they aren't good enough. Wtf who says that about your staff???? I have never complained ever. Not once. And she said nope sorry only anna is allowed to do your pedicure. I will never be sending anyone to this place. Who says that about they're hard working staff in-front of paying customers. She rips people off and treats her staff like mules. Im sad cause anna does do a great pedicure and all the ladies who work there deserve a better boss and work environment. tiffany and john do better and be better humans. Alright, so this was my first time going here cause a friend recommended me as they have a ton of colours (which I was intrigued by) but oh man was that a mess. I asked for the blue flames I put in the picture. The colour is super accurate but the flames look super messy. They're all blended together and the flames are swively. Then they blamed it on the fact that my nails weren't long enough. AND LOOK AT MY SISTERS NAILS! She asked for a gem design and the lady put them in the shape of a dick! On top of everything they charged us a whopping $63 dollars EACH. On their website it's super unclear and says "fill $30" which everywhere else means with paint but apparently here the paint on top is $15 extra. Then the design was extra too (which makes sense if it turns out right) All and all, really bad experience. My nail tech even said she was totally capable of doing this design. I really wish she had said "no I can't" then attempt and over charge me for this. Really really disappointed. My sister and I can't stop laughing about how bad these are!! read more

Shame! Shame! Shame! I don't really post reviews online but what I saw today was crazy. I'm a regular at this place for the longest time but never seen such attitude toward a customer like this before. while I was getting my service I saw a very rude attitude from one of the workers toward a very shy and poor girl. the worker literally grabbed the poor girl pushing her thru the exit door just because she asked for little more work on her nails and the worker didn't like what she asked for. well! first of all you're in the customer service industry and with that, customer comes first. I know how hard your job might be but you must control yourself and be calm when customer asks for something even extra. I hope you, manager or the owner could reach out to that poor and shy girl and apologize for your behaviour. If it were me, I would call the police right away and have them check the video how the worker grabbed the girl. you were so lucky she didn't call 911 on you. However, you'll lose me as your regular customer and I'd never come back. read more

I really enjoyed my first experience here! I walked right in, was seated immediately. I showed some pics to the girl who was going to be my tech, Chloe, of what I wanted and she said no problemo. I was out of there in less than an hour with one of the best acrylic nail jobs I've had. I didn't have to correct her once. It was also very reasonably priced! The other thing I appreciated was that the chemical smell was very low and most of the time I didn't even notice it. It was also very clean. I spent a great hour at Tiffany's to get my gel mani and pedi and I can't wait to go back! The nail techs work efficiently, are very kind and the salon is spotless. As others pointed out, the manager, John, isn't the nicest business person (especially over the phone), but he constantly makes sure that everything is running smoothly and that you're given a good service. And that's what matters to me. Cash is recommended to tip the nail techs, but as I had just $5 on me there was no problem paying the rest of my tip with debit. I read of people that were treated badly by the techs or the owners for being a few minutes late, talking to their neighbors or wanting to tip with credit, and I was a bit concerned. I booked my appointment anyway, as I found Tiffany's because I asked a receptionist where she got her beautiful gel mani. And I'm glad I followed her recommendation: gel mani is just $28 and even though it's a bit of a long trip from East Van, I'll keep visiting this salon for sure! read more

Cleanliness - great. Ambience - n/a. Competence (nail techniques in acrylic, gel, lacquer) - seemed to be very good. We were also pleased that they were able to provide fast service, or at least in an efficient way. Professionalism (being polite/courteous/respectful/you name it) - lacking in this department. Unfortunately, our encounter with the male manager was very unpleasant. Privacy - nil. Not the type of nail salon where you should expect drapes, walls or dividers. Value - taking our entire customer service experience into account... nope, not worth the cost. My recommendation: keep looking for a different salon. read more

im so lucky to live so close to this salon, I love coming back here. The staff always provides such high quality service. Last solar nail set lasted me a month without any chips or peeling. I think I could've lasted another two weeks if my nails didn't grow so much. Last pedicure, I had EMILY who is so cute and sweet, I definitely will request her next time. she told me she'd take care of me, and she definitely did. Cherry on top is that the staff is hilarious and a joy to be around. You really get a sense that theyve maintained a long time clientele from the sense of community in the salon. I have a friend who will always do my nails, but she couldn't do it this week so after a few referrals I went to Tiffany's. My nails were long and when she asked for the length I told her to cut just how much they have grown, and instead she cut them sooooo short! When I told her that, she said: oh they look good... ‍ Then, the color I asked for is not even close! My nails look terrible, they are super short, they are all different shape!!! My mom came in with me since we were spending the day together and i got a lady named Anne. All I haveto say about Anne is she is very rude! She wouldn't allow me to talk when everyone around us were talking and everytime I said 1 word to my mom she would hush me. I asked for chrome nails but when she had finished the nail polish before chrome, I loved it so much that I asked to keep it that way and she responded angrily with " WHY WOULDN'T YOU TELL ME BEFORE" I feel this was extremely rude as I am a customer and I choose my nails not her. There are lots of scary reviews on here and I don't know why that is because I come here all the time and LOVE it. I usually make sure to book with Jessica, because she has so much skill and experience and is so kind. I also had Lily, who was very sweet! I only ever get gel mani so that's all the service I know The atmosphere is very nice and the staff are honest about their services -- they will warn you before you choose a gel that will last less time. I've seen them handle some pretty rude and demanding customers well. Their cleanliness is wonderful, they open a cleaned set of mail supplies every time and won't cheap on you, and they listen to me when I say I don't want my cuticles cut! My manicures from Jessica have lasted about 2 weeks but I stretch it out to 3. I wish they'd last longer but that's probably my fault. The BEST part is their prices. Cheaper than most places. Unbelievable. My daughters and I would always go to Tiffany Nails to get a manicure and pedicure. However, service has been steadily going downhill. They don't invest in the products, staff or customer service. It is just a money grab - how many dollars can I make while sacrificing the service for the customers already there. Our last experience was today and its' the final straw. My daughter received a mani pedi and I left early to find that two of her fingers were bleeding as the esthetician (shall I ever call this employee that) cut into her cuticles and skin. The bleeding didn't stop. In addition, the owner forced her to tip 15% - 15% for cutting into her skin! She is a young adult and when an aggressive male confronts her, she shies away and just tipped what he demanded. I would encourage anyone who hasn't been happy lately to move on as there are plenty of other Nail Studios that care. How they have remained in business this long, I will never understand. read more

I love getting my nails done here. I kept trying new places that were more convenient for me location wise and I regretted it every time. Tiffany's does the best work and is the cleanest salon by far. Every night they sanitize the tools in a disinfectant and then they are placed in an autoclave that further sterilizes them. Love that. This is now my favourite nail place on the North Shore! I love it that they obviously sanitize their equipment and everything seems so clean. The location is very convenient and the staff seem quite happy with good, polite and helpful management. The chairs are very modern and comfortable and it is classy place that seems to have a very popular reputation due to how busy it is. This place is so clean and neat, the staff is attentive and friendly and their massages are great. Katie gave me the best pedicure of my life, and the best thing was that I didn't tell her what to do at all. She was so patient and nice and after she finished my pedi and shellac application, she gave me a fabulous foot massage with oil. I booked a 30 minute foot massage for my birthday, and the aesthetician providing my service was practically falling asleep. She made it quite clear that the last thing she wanted to be doing was my treatment. She was yawning, huffing and sighing, rolling her eyes, and completely zoning out. She repeated the same technique (which I could barely feel pressure-wise in the first place) until my skin felt almost chaffed. It was uncomfortable in all meanings of the word. I can appreciate someone working hard and feeling tired, but when you're spending upwards of $40 for a foot massage I think it's fair to expect something at least a little relaxing and enjoyable, without a side of guilt, disappointment, and chaffed legs. read more

Overall, I would definitely not recommend going here, unless you would like to be treated with such disrespect. I have never felt inclined to write a review, as I am generally very friendly and understanding and do not mind/almost prefer to sit in silence as I get my nails done, however, to be grunted at, ignored and treated as an inconvenience is not something that should be part of any service one receives and therefore I believe that potential customers deserve to know. I just got my nails done here with my mom this afternoon and was thoroughly unimpressed with the customer service. We were treated as though we were a complete inconvenience to them, we did not receive a smile or anything more than a grunt. I have gotten my nails done by quite a few different places and based on the Yelp reviews I decided to try Tiffany Nails, however, we were in absolute shock. I am not sure if the management changed or if the staff is now different, but the customer service we received was no where near even acceptable. The entire time I had my acrylic set done I was on edge because my nail tech seemed so annoyed with me despite my initial friendly smile and attempts at asking her my opinion on suggestions.In preparation I showed her a picture of what I wanted on my phone a few times in which she immediately assured me she would do for me. When she was doing my nails she got easily irritated by my suggestion to please make them a little bit shorter and later when she added the colour she did them incorrectly twice (of which I very politely showed her the picture again), I settled for a style I was not happy with but felt as though if I asked her to fix them again she would be completely rude about it. My mom had her nails done and eyebrows tinted and her experience was equally as horrific. The nail tech spent less than 20 minutes on her nails and ripped her cuticle making it bleed (who knows if they reused the nail buffer...). The woman doing her brows brought her into a back room which smelled of an appalling body odour and was instructed to lie down on a bed that had people's dirty foot prints on and a towel at the head that was obviously used previously and smelled of BO. The woman flipped the towel over when my mom questioned if she could get another paper towel to go over top of it. The overall cost of each of the services (acrylic set, basic gel manicure and brow waxing) was very unclear, as the staff added up some randomized numbers on a calculator. read more

I was a long time client of Tiffany's but not anymore!!!!! I would never go to them, recommend them, or give them a penny of my money. My boyfriend gave me a gift card for a mani and pedi and we moved and I mis-placed it.... I found it as I was un-packing and it had expired a week prior. I called to book my appointment with Tiffany's and explained the situation and was told that it has a year expiry date and I Couldn't use it. Since I was a long time client and had came in tons of times and paid in full I spoke directly to Tiffany and ended up arguing with her because she didn't want to let me use the gift card. She ended up giving me half its value after we had a heated argument. She was so rude and I will never recommend or go there again. Worst service ever!!!! read more

I came here a couple of times. Ultimately I won't go back. There is a strange vibe, I somehow feel like the staff are not treated especially well. There is an impersonal assembly line feeling to it. There is a chemically smell that is worse than other salons. The man that apparently runs the place is not friendly, nor is the atmosphere. This place was clean, presentable and sterile. I saw the sterilization room they had in the back and everything looked up to snuff. The tools they used came in sterilized pouches. I had no appointment but was taken in about 10mins on a Saturday. I got a manicure for $30 and was well looked after. This is a no nonsense place run by a Vietnamese man who is also no nonsense. So if you expect western hospitality, you will be disappointed. However, in a nail salon cleanliness and quality work is what I look out for the most and this place had it. They had great massage chairs, and a drying station that you could sit in after your mani/pedi to further dry your feet. They also supplied their own nail files and flip flops to the patrons. My friend and I were in the area and as we finished our errands early, we decided to get a regular mani/pedi. We walked into to Tiffanys and lucky for us, they had some appointments cancelled so we were able to get a chair right away. The place is clean and the chairs are comfortable. We had Hanna, Christine and Kelly and they were great! Very nice and friendly ladies with great skills. One of the things I appreciate from this place is that they don't rush you. By the time our nails were done, all the chairs were full. Instead of rushing you to leave, the manager kindly took us to another table area that's for drying which I appreciate. Also, I noticed that the manager promptly and thoroughly clean the chairs we were sitting in prior to prepare for the next customers which is good practice - clean equipments right away before bacteria multiply. All in all this place provided an overall great experience and I would for sure go back. read more

This was my regular pedicure place, on several occasion recommending them to my friends. Well all that stopped once I have fun Christmas nails put on. It wasn't clear to me when they were glued on that I would have to wait until the nail grew out until these little gems could be removed. After three months of fills I finally asked for them to come off. Johnny, the owner, was very unpleasant and I was left with a mess. Still months later my nails are chipping, splitting and soft. Hey I get my nails aren't great but I did expect better customer service as I had been a regular client. Moved onto Pure Nail Bar at lower Lonsdale and so much happier there. read more

I went to Tiffany Nails for the first time on Monday, after a friend recommended it to me. I recently moved to Vancouver and have been looking for a new nail place. Well, I think I found it at Tiffany! I do see how the negative review on the manager guy is here, because he is quite short with clients, but I think that is just his demeanor, I do not believe he is trying to be rude at all. I got an appointment only a few hours ahead, which is awesome, I am very last minute. My appointment was with Micheal, and he was amazing! removed my old nails in like ... 2 minutes. Quick and painless! I opted for the solar nails as they told me it is healthier for your natural nail. Michael was awesome, I've noticed with other salons you usually either get quality, or speed. Michael gave me both! Beautiful shape, thinner, more natural looking nail, and beautiful color! Michael wasn't too chatty (that bugs me sometimes) but held just the right amount of conversation and was super friendly! The only thing I might say, if ANYTHING at all, is it is a taaaaad on the more expensive side. Mine ended up being around 75$ after tip, BUT you get what you pay for! I got some amazing nails! Hi everyone First of all I would like to say that Tiffany Nail and Esthetics is very nice looking and clean, and the workers there seem pleasent. I've been coming here about 1 year now, but in the last two months things has been happening that I very disagree about. Well most most the employees I have met and have done my pedicures for me and they did an ok job, but one of the employees that stands out the most her name is Christine she is very nice, and very friendly and most important is that she is extremely good at what she does with many years of experience. When she does massage I feel really relaxed, I dont want anybody else to do my pedicure for me, only Christine. Theres a couple of other things that I'am upset and bothered by. One of the issue is that everytime I make an appointment for Christine the guy always says shes busy and tries to book me to someone else thats better than Christine, one time I really needed my pedicure done so I said ok, then the guy made me an appointment for someone. So when i came for my appointment the employee who did my pedicure her name was Kelly, I dont like her because she was always on the phone and talking loudly I couldnt relax and also she didnt even give me a massage I didnt like that at all, at the sametime I saw my favorite employee there "Christine" she was not busy when i came there or maybe she was just waiting for one of her appointments to come, but while I was getting my pedicure and 30 min after I still saw her sitting in the chair I found that quite odd and confusing. The other incident is that I bought a gift card for my mother in-law, she too made an appointment for Christine but once again the guy said she was busy so she made a booking for someone else, but when she arrived for booking she saw it was not busy inside at all. She was very upset. Overall I dont like it and i will never come back, I will never recommend this place to anybody. Thats not how you run business, this is not the right way. Actually appalling. I go in there wanting to get one nail fixed (simply repainted because it got smudged) done by a different salon, I was just in the area. The lady refuses me, saying they don't have the color. I say that's fine, as long as there is something similar. She said she won't do it! She wants to take all of them off and repaint all of them to charge me the full amount. I say I'll pay you $10 to repaint this one nail. She says she won't do it. All the other girls are just sitting on their butts in the corner whispering to one another. I simply walk out of there without even saying goodbye. Seriously, worst customer service ever! I understand not wanting to fix someone's tattoo but to take 1 minute to repaint a nail and have to be so rude about it? Don't even bother going there to give them your business. read more

Hi there! Just thought I would post something about this salon. I honestly never do this and have been here twice before, once for a mani-pedi and another for an eyebrow tint. This time I came in for an eyebrow tint and the esthetician said I also needed an eyebrow wax. I knew that I did but I usually just pluck after the colour is done because I've been unhappy with the results more than once. My issue is that I like to have thick, full eyebrows, as they seem to frame my face and let's face it, I get lots of compliments as well and who doesn't like compliments?! Anyways, she convinced me that she is fantastic and so I figured why not? She sounded confident which is definitely a plus but like usual my eyebrows are TOO THIN although the colour was great. I just wish she would have listened because now I have to pencil them in to be like I want which defeats the purpose of having them tinted. I'm disappointed to say the least. read more
