Ohio has much better Turnpike rest stops than PA & IN. Since we travel with our dog, we like that OH rest stops have a dedicated dog area, often well stocked with poop bags. They also have lots of grass & a small fenced area where you could let your dog off leash. This one has EV chargers. It has Starbucks (though I was bummed they were out of cold brew & iced coffee!), Sabarro pizza & Burger King. The ladies room was immaculate. The floors through out were sparkling. They also have outdoor tables. And of course gas. read more

The service plazas in Ohio are great, good amenities, clean bathrooms and EV/gas options. Have stopped on this one several times in our travels through Ohio. Expect higher prices for convenience :-) But it's great to stretch, walk around and get the family what they need and want :-) read more

Stopped at Sbarro's .. 9:55. The kid in the back refused to look so I hollered are you open ... Still not looking he hollered back we open at 10 while eating pizza. It's the Last time I stop. Been coming here for yrs. Another customer pissed away. read more

As we entered the parking lot, my husband and I were both impressed by the number of EV chargers, Tesla and otherwise! The bathrooms were also relatively clean and of course the plaza is planned to have good flow: park your vehicle, visit the restaurants or restrooms, then get gasoline as you head back toward the highway. read more

When your traveling through multiple states it can very difficult to find a nice place to stop. This service plaza is one of the cleanest, welcoming public stops I've ever been to. There were plenty of places to eat and endless amounts of snacks and drinks. The bathrooms were very clean and every stall was fully stocked. This will be marked on my map as the place to stop if I'm heading east through Ohio. read more

Unlike *most* of the Ohio Turnpike Plazas, this one also has the additional A-Plus convenience store for snacks and drinks. As always, the whole facility is well-kept, clean and well-stocked. A travel information center provides brochures for Ohio attractions. For souvenir collections, a penny press allows for a genuine penny purchase for a dollar. Vending machines allow for the purchase of refreshments, next to the video games area. They have a payphone located next to the ATM, along with an AED and emergency 911 phone all located in the main lobby. The food court is smaller in selection s (currently Burger King and sbarro, with a Starbucks) but the seating area can accommodate hundreds of visitors, with tables for 2 and tables for 4. As has been the standard since around 1984 or so, they have showers for transient truckers at each plaza. They also have a nice trucker lounge with TVs and laundry facilities. read more

This rest stop came at the perfect time as we were nearly out of gas, phew!! Totally clean and spacious rest stop with a Starbucks and Burger King, that both came in handy. 7-11, a few vending machines, and a pizza stand, too. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Grateful!! read more

It seems weird to review a rest stop, but this is no ordinary rest stop. It's like a mini mall connected to a gas station. The rest stops I'm used to are just a place to park and pee. They have a dog walking area for your furry animals. They have a gas station. They have really nice bathrooms. They have a wet spot on the floor near the bathroom so don't trip. They have a Starbuck's that was slammed so took a little while but I'll forgive them. They also have several mall food court-eque restaurants. The place is massive. Great job Ohio. read more

Came here on my way to Columbus. I also realized this place is a copy and paste of the rest stop across the street. It's a great rest stop that I wish Illinois would do. The convenient store is utterly expensive. Half the places in the food court are empty. Bathrooms and parking lot are sparkly clean! read more

I know it's a travel plaza - but it's way more than that!!! They have a Burger King, Starbucks and really clean bathrooms. They also have ample parking lot so you can walk around and stretch your legs without walking onto the highway. Really good place to stop (and you should use this one becasue there are not a lot of service plazas along 90) :) read more

Was at Tiffin River Travel Plaza yesterday (9/14/2021) . The plaza was clean and neat. However one bad experience with Starbarks. Ordered Regular Coffee Medium and Cupperccino Medium.  I did not notice that the level was less than half of a Medium size cup after I got back to my car.  Just thought I should check before I left.  Today, I noted that the cashier had charged me Large for my drink.  Both 2 girls working there are not honest at all.  Watch out!!! read more

This review is just for Starbucks coffee at Tiffin River travel plaza at 5:28 p.m. June 22nd. I went in to get some coffee and two people were behind the register chatting away one was a guy and he was making a drink for another customer. The other was a young lady who was cleaning the back but would not acknowledge my presence even after I said hello. I don't know if it's because I was black or because she was just a rude individual but this type of customer service is not what I expect from Starbucks. Yes they were two white people working at Starbucks and I was a black person trying to get coffee in the middle of Ohio. This type of customer service is the reason why Starbucks had to do a whole day of racial training. So after the guy finished making the drink for the other customer he finally came over to me, and said hello how can I help you. I had already said hello to the woman looked her in her eye, and she proceeded to keep cleaning and ignored me until the gentleman came and said hello. I don't know if this review ever get to Starbucks corporate but you never know who you're speaking, you should always treat everyone with respect. read more

Sbarro closes at 6:00pm. We were there at 5:24pm and they said, " We are closed." We asked why when 5:30 seems to be a prime dinner time and he said, "we close at 6:00pm". He didn't have an answer for the fact that it was still before 5:30pm. read more

This is a decent service plaza. The place is newly done and makes it a good place to stop. The bathrooms were clean (yay!) and they have a Starbucks! We made a quick stop here for some gas, a pit stop, and the bucks. Can't complain, and I think it is one of the better places to stop along the way. read more

Nice clean bathrooms, a good open area for eating in, and a gas station. The only problem is the food options are Sbarro or BK or Sbux, but the lines are incredibly long. 1:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon and it took over half an hour just to get lunch. read more

I stopped for the Starbucks. It wasn't good. They literally had nothing. She actually listened to my friend and me talking about what we were going to get and then decided to tell us they didn't have it or couldn't make it. So we tried again...same thing! Then she apologized and said they were just licensed, whatever that means. When she gave us our drinks she didn't give us sleeves. I had to ask for one. Luckily this was just a one time stop. If this were my neighborhood Starbucks I would never go back. I guess that's what I should expect from a coffee shop in a rest stop. read more
