They had an assortment of books, clothes, dishes, pins, beanie babies, toys, anything you can think of. There was so many unique items for a reasonable price. I expected the prices to be more on certain items because they're so unique. There weren't many people around to help because it was busy so you have to track someone down. When you're ready to pay you head towards the front of the store and they check you out. The cashier was very nice and asked me how my experience went and commented on my purchases. This is a cool store to visit and shop at if you're ever nearby.

There is literally something for everyone to buy in this 4 floor jammed packed store. Prices $ Mm this one is a bit tricky, while there are a lot of special pieces in this store I feel like there are some pieces that are overpriced (like fast fashion clothing items) juxtaposed to beloved and nostalgic beanie babies being priced for no more than $12.00 (which I expected the prices to be higher). So, honestly it's quite a hit and miss and dependent on your tastes. I'm not sure if this location haggles either as I have not purchased something from here yet. This is the only thing holding me back from eating it 5 stars. Worth it? I'd recommend this location to everyone honestly, even if it's just to kill time. My boyfriend and I spent around 3 hours in here easy, and I believed we may have met the owners (not sure) as well on the bottom floor organizing a display case. I can't remember the man's name, but I believe the woman's name was Jodi and they shared that they've been married for 30 years.

I am so delighted to post a review of my experience with Strokes on Kanvas. Everything was better…read morethan I can imagine! I was desperate to find an activity for the kids at our family event. Something memorable than the typical bouncing jumpers. There were many mobile canvas paint companies to choose from, but my initial contact with Strokes on Kanvas made my decision so easy to move forward with them. I received a prompt follow-up call to confirm their availability, followed by personal messages to solidify the details. This husband/wife duo are nothing less than professionals. They were great with the kids. They were attentive, patient, knew when to give them breaks, knew how to gather them back and re-focus, and just had the kid's (and adults) excited about their painting skills. I had to keep a few adults away from joining the kid's experience. Stephen and Diane, I am so happy we worked together and created a lasting memory for my family. Next up... an adult paint party! I came here on a Saturday afternoon, after having brunch in Arcade Downtown next door, for a fun and free date in downtown Riverside. You can get your fill of the museum in about 1 hour. When I visited, the third floor was not open but I say it takes about 30 minutes tops to view each floor with ease. The place is very spacious and cool. You get to see displays of old cameras and there is even an interactive piece where you wear goggles to get the full affect of the image. I came on a Saturday afternoon and the place was not crowded at all. More times than not, you are able to have an entire room to yourself to admire the pieces alone. You can find free parking in the parking garages nearby. The nearest one is on Orange Street. There is free all day parking on the weekends for Garages 1, 2, and 3 in downtown Riverside.
