Definitely a cool place to check out when you're downtown. There's so much to see and so many unique items. I went during Christmas time when it was extremely busy and packed walking around. They had an assortment of books, clothes, dishes, pins, beanie babies, toys, anything you can think of. There was so many unique items for a reasonable price. I expected the prices to be more on certain items because they're so unique. There weren't many people around to help because it was busy so you have to track someone down. When you're ready to pay you head towards the front of the store and they check you out. The cashier was very nice and asked me how my experience went and commented on my purchases. Mission Galleria Riverside, CA Date went 11/8/25 (Saturday) Time went 12:13pm (it was packed, and busier than I've seen it since my last two times I've came here) Atmosphere: I've been to 5 thrift/antiques stores in the Riverside/CA area in the past 2 days, and this one is by far the biggest and has the most to look at. There is literally something for everyone to buy in this 4 floor jammed packed store. Prices $ Mm this one is a bit tricky, while there are a lot of special pieces in this store I feel like there are some pieces that are overpriced (like fast fashion clothing items) juxtaposed to beloved and nostalgic beanie babies being priced for no more than $12.00 (which I expected the prices to be higher). So, honestly it's quite a hit and miss and dependent on your tastes. I'm not sure if this location haggles either as I have not purchased something from here yet. This is the only thing holding me back from eating it 5 stars. Worth it? I'd recommend this location to everyone honestly, even if it's just to kill time. My boyfriend and I spent around 3 hours in here easy, and I believed we may have met the owners (not sure) as well on the bottom floor organizing a display case. Every once in a while when I'm in the area, I stop by here to check out the selection. I feel like a few years ago it was a lot better. It used to be cute and kitschy, with some real oddities and unique pieces for sale at decent prices. Today, what I saw was just tragic. It's largely fast fashion branded clothing without the fast fashion prices, anime merchandise for the weebiest of weebs, mass produced trinkets/toys I recognized from the AliExpress catalogue, and some actually vintage items being sold at a price anyone familiar with the brands would never actually pay. With the amount of eyebrow-raisers that I saw, I didn't feel confident that items from other vendors that I'm not as familiar with like porcelain figures, glassware, jewelry, and paintings were actually genuine antiques or being sold at fair prices. I noticed a lot of young'uns browsing the store who seemed to be having a pretty good time, so maybe I'm just old and it's not for my demographic. In my mind though, this isn't what should be sold at an antique store. I would love to see whoever's in charge be choosier with their vendors. read more

The store is so big with great collections of literally everything: bed, bath, clothes, kitchen, vintage, modern, music, Disney, anime, jewelry, and so much more. The prices are very reasonable. It is best that you have a method or going aisles by aisles or row by row and note down the cabinet numbers. They have limited staff at the front so it will be long for them to get the specific keys to open your requested cabinets. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I usually try to leave positive reviews & highlight businesses that provide a good experience. In fact, I've visited this store before & found it to be an interesting place to browse through. However, I cannot overlook the fact that this store chooses to sell Nazi propaganda. There is an important difference between preserving historical artifacts in a museum for educational purposes & selling these items for profit. Seeing merchandise associated with a regime responsible for unimaginable atrocities being treated as collectibles for sale was deeply unsettling. I have a beautiful 1920s art deco buffet that I purchased here about 25 years ago. Recently was in the area and visited again. There is a seller with some WWI artifacts that were cool, but I was disappointed in how many sellers are dealing in reproductions or upcycled things. read more

An iconic space in the heart of downtown. The mother-load for all things vintage. Even if you're not looking for a specific item it's a fun place to explore all three levels. Records, clothing, jewelry, books, vintage toys and memorabilia. Lots of nicknacks and thingamabobs around every inch of space. Tight turns with little nooks and cranny's of things you'd find in your closet when you were eight years old. Creaking floors, old library scent, giant chairs and yes Christmas decorations. If you're a collector you may be fan kicking your way through. Service is helpful and kind. Know your prices and you may strike gold. It's attached to Molinos coffee shop. This sort of indoor mall of antiques and unusual things is becoming a thing of the past. This space is vast, and made up of an open second floor space with furniture and clothing, and the main floor with dozens and dozens of small booths. There may be another floor that I missed because it would take the better part of a day to properly peruse everything here. I could almost state that if it exists, you'll find it here, but that may be a bit of an exaggeration. Still, you will travel down memory lane seeing things of your grandparents' era, record albums from every era, jewelry new and old, and a whole lot of everything else. Truly mindboggling and a little overwhelming, but oh, so fun. Check it out when you have a lot of time to spend. What can I say? There was most definitely not enough time to see all the things, BUT I came away with some goodies! This is FOUR VERY FULL FLOORS of everything you can possibly imagine...things you want, things you need, things you didn't know you need, and things to remind you of times past! Talk about a walk down memory lane! Definitely, there is a tremendous variety of "stuff and things" ranging from heirloom blankets, jewelry (fine and costume), clothing, sports and other memorabilia (who remembers kewpie dolls? - anyone? or vintage Christmas ornaments that come in the cardboard box? ), designer purses, and houseware items. Areas are "coded" to indicate who the vendor is, as it appears items are for sale on consignment with proceeds going to the donor of the item(s). This aspect is what I believe makes the checkout process take a bit of time -- so be patient when you're ready for purchase as the cashiers manually enter the information on the tags in order to give folks their due. I was able to see most of two floors and skim the others. I left with some fun finds: a Maryland "You are Here" series Starbucks mug (I really did visit!), two bracelets for my daughter - not thrifted, and some horror kitsch for my son. All happy campers. Don't come in here, unless you are already certain where the item you're looking for is or if you have at least two hours to explore the endless displays of just about every kind of collectible that one could think of. It helps to go in with a plan such as starting at the bottom and work your way upstairs or starting at the back and work your way to the Fred or some such thing so you make sure that you cover everything. Many of the areas have a particular theme so you'll know pretty quickly if a particular Spot has items in which you are interested but be careful once you find an interesting cubicle you could be there for a while, looking for that perfect vintage item. read more

I've been shopping here for years and always loved it, but I don't think I'll be back the past two times I've been in (within the last two months) there have been extremely offensive items for sale. Last week they had Nazi memorabilia & racist dolls prominently displayed near the check out counter. Selling offensive items may be good for revenue but it creates a market for it and I personally think that's wrong. Largest concentration of antiques and curios I have seen. We spent a good 1.5 hours of looking and exploring the Galleria. Please do not shop here if you have a sense for what is ethical! I was in awe of this store until I wasn't because they are selling a GIANT swastika flag in their downstairs area!!! And they also sell a bunch of Black face memorabilia!!! Smh. I was about to buy a bunch of things but then was stopped right in my tracks and set them all down when I saw that. We purchased a piece of furniture from Mission Galleria Antique Shoppe in Riverside after the sales rep twice assured us it was an older antique. That was the deciding factor in our purchase. Once we got it home, we did a quick search with Google Lens and discovered it's actually a mass-produced HomeGoods item, not an antique at all. This means the store either failed to verify what they were selling or outright lied to make a sale. Either way, this is misrepresentation--and in the antiques/consignment business, trust is everything. We feel completely deceived. If you're shopping here, be warned: Do your own research before believing anything they tell you. Our experience makes it clear you cannot rely on their word when it comes to authenticity. read more

Went today and as soon as i got there i found something i wanted to buy from a vender right in front on the right...went to leave it in the front since i just got there and didn't want to hold the whole time. Before leaving i went in line to pay...there was 4 employees 2 girls 2 guys. Never once greeted me once i got to the front...one duo was deep in chit chat in front of a register another girl was right in front of us never looked at us just continued to do whatever she was doing then a guy with a blank stare was just walking around the register area with no thought of actually working. I don't like the energy of this place. I feel like the energy is off. Mind you this place sells caskets and old vintage items with energy that is off. Also there is not a good selection of stuff here all you have is runned down Barbie dolls and other stuff. I also didn't notice any employee at this place. I guarantee if you could ask the employees if they've encountered stuff they would say they would. Overall I just don't like this place and its environment. Other than the Mission Inn, I can't think of a bigger mainstay of downtown Riverside than the Mission Galleria. I've been coming here to look at the sheer amount of STUFF for years. Even if you don't buy anything you'll have a lot to look at. Located on the corner of Mission Blvd across the Mission Inn. It has to be the biggest consignment store I've ever seen. Inside you'll find four (!!!) stories of antiques, books, records, clothing and other assorted knick knacks. They used to sell furniture but the fourth floor features a used/vintage clothing spot. The furniture is still there but I don't know if any of it is for sale. If I was in the market I'd ask. Now, the Mission Galleria is without a doubt a consignment store so if you want anything in the cases you'll have to go to the front and ask one of the helpful ladies if you really want that Disney pin, knife or hair bow. Some of the items aren't the cheapest either so you'll really have to look if you want a bargain. But some sellers also post sales around their stalls so that's another thing to keep in mind. The Mission Galleria is a mainstay of downtown Riverside and a cool place to spend an hour or so looking for whatever you're looking for. Sure, it can be a pain if what you want is locked up but I've never had a problem getting help. There's a good chance you'll find something you want and you're helping folks get rid of their unwanted items. Recommended! read more

I love to come here with my friends every few weeks to see what's new, and the staff are very friendly. They some very unique items that would can't find anywhere else, my favorite are the interesting lamps you can find on the bottom and 3rd floor, and for the most part pricing is very reasonable. This is not the most antique-y antique mall I've ever been to. In fact, there seems to be just as many handcrafted, new items as there are old ones. The Mission Galleria has four floors, it's a busy location and somewhat understaffed, if you're interested in an item behind a locked curio, you have to go back to the cashier area (front door) to get some assistance. Overwhelm is an understatement but for antique hunters, this is haven. So much finds, gems, one of a kind, vintage or just unique character you can definitely find here. They have clothing, shoes, art, pre owned designer handbags, pottery, memorabilia, like I said, overwhelming. Service during Christmas holidays was definitely a long line but they do their best to move it fast. Some may say disorganization is part of the charm but I guess that's how it is for most hunters. The other thing was, although I'm only a novice when it comes to paying for antique but I swear, some things are ridiculously prized that even a holiday after I visited, they were still sitting where they were!! I was recommended this place by a colleague of mine after expressing how much I enjoy going to antique stores. This is by far the second largest antique store I've been to and definitely one of my favorites. There's a ground level, a bottom level, and a top level. It's not too well ventilated but there are fans in almost every other section. There's a 3% additional charge for credit cards so I'd recommend using a debit card or cash instead. There's a bathroom available on the ground level that's shared with the coffee shop right next door but it's not clean and the lighting was very poor, so that's a star docked off for that. We parked in a parking garage right around the corner that offered 90-minutes free parking and a dollar for every additional half hour. Very tight but there were plenty of spots available. read more

Was looking at some photographs, and one of the employees (bulky looking dude with glasses I believe), came, took the photographs and placed them back on the counter and sarcastically said "appreciate you for looking" after I had informed him that I was looking at each photograph. Then I'm responding to a text message, and he decided to sit and a nearby booth station and just watch me. I look around and I see him pointing his phone at me and the camera snap a photo. I was in disbelief and when I decided to not let it affect my cool, he decides to follow me but act like he wasn't. Used to come here all the time as a vintage collector. Never again. read more

First time here and probably the last. Honestly the stuff is ok but prices are insane. The store has/had a Lego set that target is selling for almost $100 less than this store is selling it for and that's absurd. Marking items up because people don't know any better is illegal and I can imagine is a lot of the items there. read more

Wow. Stopped by on a whim and was blown away. This antique mall goes on and on and on. Endless rows and corners and nooks of interesting stuff. Multiple floors. Let me tell you, I saw countless tea sets. It was overwhelming. Connected to a coffee shop. Prices vary by vendor but from what I saw, they were pretty reasonable. I LOVE this place. I am NOT a shopper. I DON'T collect antiques. So for me to love this place is unusual. The Galleria is across from the MISSION INN. Be sure to go into the hotel lobby. It's so lovely!! Riverside is my old stomping grounds and when I lived here I NEVER went inside this store. Now, every time we visit Riverside, we stay at America's Best Value Inn down the street so we can walk HERE. I don't buy much. I buy little interesting things. Today I wanted either a mirror or a picture for over our bed. I found a mirror inside a picture...the most unique piece I could imagine . I always find exactly the right thing. And today it was only $22! The pictures really tell the story. If you are ANYWHERE nearby, this is a worthy destination. Mission Galleria is located across the street from the Historic Mission Inn which was celebrating its 30th Anniversary of The Festival of Lights in 2022 in Riverside. Now anytime is Fun shopping in here for some antique treasures & finds but Christmas is really special with all the vintage decorations. This is an old Sears Department store with 4 floors of Antiques, Clothing, Collectables, Toys, Records, Glassware, Jewelry, Furniture & More. Imagine an entire 4 story department store filled to the brim with antiques. You can always find something Cool in here that you didn't know you needed but you have to have it! LOL! The Art Deco store was built in 1938 by Architect Henry Jeckel. They also have The Mission Galleria Cafe & in the basement is the Hideaway Bar. Every Christmas season they have their famous $1 Hot Cocoa @ the Hideaway - that's become a classic! It's so much Fun exploring all the cool stuff in here. You can spend hours in here. If you come during the week during the holidays you can usually luck out with some free parking on the neighboring side streets. What a Cool Store!
