Three words - Don't do it! What an awful, terrible experience all around. My hubby and I were taking care of nearby errands and looking for a quick, casual spot. He mentioned he had dropped in once for lunch and it wasn't bad. When I walked in and saw the setup, I started to turn around. However, I have had some of the best food in hole in the wall spots, so decided to give it a try. I didn't check previous yelp reviews and should have. The service was terrible. Although the waitress was nice, she was preoccupied with friends in the bar area. Twice when looking for her for a refill and to pick up the check, she was SEATED at the bar (laughing and joking). The food was awful. We opted for the hamburger steak. I should have known better. It took a little longer than it should seeing as though the dining area was pretty empty. The rice was tepid and HARD. The gravy was clearly canned. The actual meat was not too bad, but I couldn't even finish half of it. The garlic toast was unimpressive. Yuck yuck yuck. Great place for lunch or watching the game and having drinks. Tiger Paw Daiquiris and Grill is several notches above your average daiquiri shop or bar & grill. First, it has three distinct areas. It has a full-service bar area with bar stools, a table seating area and then a separate area with four pool tables an air hockey table and one of those mini basketball games and they have two Golden Tee games. All areas have several large TVs for watching sporting events. I went around lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. I was quickly seated and Laura brought me an ice cold Bud Light and a menu immediately. I wasn't expecting an extensive menu but they have a couple dozen different items ranging from salads to Poboys and several different hamburger styles to a filet plate which is what I went with. The Filet Plate is two 4oz. filet mignon medallions grilled to your liking. I ordered mine rare and I received exactly what I asked for. The plate comes with a wedge salad but you can substitute vegetables or fries for no extra charge. The steak was absolutely delicious and as tender as any expensive steakhouse but this one is $12.99. A really nice place with great staff and food. I'll definitely be back especially during football season. read more

I've been here once before and it was decent. Pretty reasonably priced fried food, dive-y atmosphere but the service was friendly. The waitress even mentioned to check for the BOGO coupons they put in Valpak. Great! The newest Valpak coupon states that it does not apply to delivery. We were tired and didn't feel like going to sit in a restaurant so we decided to order for pick up. Nowhere on the coupon or in the fine print states that you can't use it for a carry out order. First of all, the menu was ridiculously hard to find online. It's not posted here, on their Facebook page, on any menu site... I did find it through the Waitr app even though we weren't using that to order. We call and order and the woman who answers the phone immediately states that the coupon doesn't apply to carry out orders. My husband asks for clarification and reads the coupon verbatim to her, that it states it does not apply to DELIVERY. She was pretty rude and said we couldn't use it for carry out. I don't appreciate businesses making up rules out of nowhere. Obviously if you're sending out BOGO coupons you need the business. But this caused them to lose a sale and customers. We won't be returning, coupon or not. We ended up ordering carry out from Dempsey's down the street and it was delicious, friendly, fast, and a decent price without needing a coupon at all. read more

Enjoyed playing pool with our 15 yr old son.. we were told food was great so we stayed to eat.. service was good... however our meal took over one and half hours to come out at which time we decided as we watched tables being served around us, they had forgotten our meal.. which waitress admitted they forgot to put ticket in.. we were told " kitchen will have your food out before the larger tables"... within 5 minutes we watched larger tables be served and still no meal for us.. my 15 yr old was quite hungry by now.. asked for manager and STILL had to wait! Then he proceeds to argue with us about the situation and offer "to go" meals.. we were comped all meals and my son was sent with a to go box at 9 pm (had been there since 5 pm and ordered food around 7:30) inexcusable and won't be back there for a meal... restaurants.. please stop using covid as your excuse!!!!! I work in the medical field and deal with it every day! It's not an excuse for poor service! It seems that the new management really wants to make this spot work! They are making lots of changes to the menu and the visual look of the place. My wife and I go there once a week since the owner change, and look forward to a neighborhood bar/grill that really respects there customers. They have officially lost our business. We used to come here frequently last crawfish season. They were always tasty and arrived quick to our table. Then towards the end of last season we had a party of 6, 4 of use ordered crawfish. After waiting OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF we cancelled our orders and left. We repeatedly asked what was going on and were assured "they be right out". They were not very busy in the restaurant but noticed people were coming in and getting to go orders consistently filled. Here comes the 2020 season and just the two of us decided to give them another shot. We waited for 35 minutes, saw several to go orders filled in that time. We wouldn't have been that upset if it wasn't for the fact about half our crawfish were ICE COLD to the touch. Not luke warm but COLD. In addition to this our service was terrible. Our waitress who was tending to 3 small tables consistently forgot to bring our drinks, to go boxes and check. We physically had to walk to the bar to get the things we asked for more than once. Against my instincts based on prior experiences, I stopped at Tiger Paw to get 2 daiquiris to go. I was surprised that all daiquiri options were available since in past attempts over the years, machines were broken and selection was limited. I was able to get the 2 flavors I wanted, only to get home and discover that they were not frozen at all. So in the freezer they went. The next day when we attempted to drink them, they tasted so awful that we threw them away. Sorry, but I've given up on this daiquiri place. I'll go the extra distance to Spanky's where I've never had a bad experience. read more
