I remember people used to line up for this. I googled it and they were known for their 8-hour method for cooking the syrups and tapioca pearls. The bubble tea isn't bad but honestly I've had it a few times, they are just ok, nothing particularly special. I like to be able to taste the tea but this is more milk heavy. I paid a little over $7 for a large which is fair. You'll probably what you would pay the same elsewhere. Service is ok and it is at the H-mart food court.

Good place for boba tea. The standard Black Sugar Black Tea with Boba cant go wrong, its the safest choice. It comes nicely looking with brown, cream, white color; and remember to shake it until everything is in a uniform color and then enjoy the drink : )

Keep coming back to this Tiger Sugar for its amazingly delicious drinks. The brown sugar and bubbles have such incredible taste. Service is always excellent, drinks are served within few minutes.

I'll occasionally order milk boba teas from Tiger Sugar for us after grocery shopping at H-Mart, where this drink shop is located inside. It's a small counter closer to the ArtBox shop and further away from the other food court spots. The drinks are well made and the staff are friendly. My husband's preferred drink is the Black Sugar Boba Pearl Jelly Milk with Cream Mousse. I like T9 - Vintage Black Tea Latte with Mochi Boba.

That new menu listing just stopped me in my tracks. I am once again a tiger sugar fan. Passion fruit brown sugar boba 5/5 I've got to come back! The hot tea menu also had interesting things such as drinkable mochi as a topping.

Soooo, if you come here, come for the brown sugar bubble tea not their flavored drinks. It was awful, no flavor and a waste of money. We got the brown sugar lemon tea, but it came with no brown sugar and no lemon, just oolong tea and lime. The mango tea was good, but too sweet and more toppings than juice. Overall stick to the brown sugar bubble teas, you can't go wrong.

Requested for Two Signatures with oat milk, less ice, and sugar level to be less sweet.

We ordered two Signature drinks and a third, their latest Tiger Mango Sago. The Signature drink is the OG for brown sugar bubble tea and we substituted the oat milk and had less ice. We were also able to ask for it to be less sweet. It was very good. I prefer plant-based milk and was glad to they offered alternative milk for an additional $0.50. I wish more bubble tea chains would offer that. I also loved they had two sizes of bobas in their Tiger Signature bubble teas: medium and small. It was like a party in the mouth! I had the Tiger Mango Sago which was their newest drink. You must love mangos if you order this. This had real finely diced mango bites in it, along with mango juice. They had creamy sago milk which made it nice and thick and it came with golden crystals. It was enjoyable as The Kid and I swapped our drinks mid-way so we could try each other's drinks. The store can be found inside H-Mart's food court and when we went, we found the service to be quick and efficient.

I ordered T2 with boba, but the portion of boba was like 1/3 portion than usual. And ordered T10 w/ jelly but there's no jelly inside...... Disappointed

Phenomenal bubble tea! The creators of the brown sugar bubble tea is now in NJ and everyone should grab one or two or three. Originally created in Taichung Taiwan and first seen in NYC. It was all the buzz and lives up to the name. Located in the brand new H Mart off of route 46. The staff is super sweet and helpful and worth dropping a tip their way. My favorite is #5 brown sugar bubble tea with pudding. Cheers! #ThankYouThursday2021

Tiger Sugar at Hmart, Little ferry

Okay, this visit and this branch in Hmart, Little Ferry made me appreciate Tiger Sugar better! I had first tried this some time ago in Flushings NY and unfortunately my experience there was not as good as the one here. Back in Flushings, the bubble tea was mediocre and was not even worth the trip, not sure if we just came in on a bad day that time...but well not in this branch! Hubster and I visited 11/2/21 and there was no long line yay! Place was still festive looking with their balloons since they just had their grand opening. Anyhoo, staff that night were great!! (Thus the 5star! And hoping this rating stays a while). They were so friendly and knew their products well! I loved that we were told they have the pearl pineapple cake otherwise I would not have noticed the other items they sold. The cake was good! It had chewy boba filling. The Milk egg roll reminded me of "Stick-O!" Haha only with like a "caramelly", "brown sugary" taste. Even the popcorn was a delight to snack on. Yes we brought a lot on this visit! Including 3 bobas. I loved and enjoyed my No. 2 order! The jelly was a perfect match and a great add-on aside from the usual boba that I always get. Its a bit disappointing and a relief at the same time that this store isnt the closest branch from me otherwise I'd most likely keep coming back even though im not supposed to! Whew!

Ok I'm all for this place. I've tried a lot of bubble tea places (all over Asia) and have never had a chance to try Tiger Sugar - and the opportunity came up after I went good shopping at the H Mart located in South Hackensack. They open at 11am so their boba was FRESH. We ordered #1 which is their signature brown sugar boba (I forget the actual name) and it is DELICIOUS. The perfect amount of sugar and the smaller size boba is SO much better than the ones that are the size of golf balls. I definitely like this more than Kung Fu Tea, especially since I don't need to customize my drink for it to be perfect. Definitely worth the hype- not the BEST location but if they work fast enough to get through their line, it's not that big of a deal. Will definitely come back as soon as they open to try the other flavors!

Had to celebrate the year of the tiger at Tiger Sugar. This is one of my newest favorite bubble tea spots! I have loved every flavor I have tried so far. So today I had ordered the #5 which is the black sugar boba +pudding milk with cream mousse. My sister had ordered the #4 which is black sugar boba + pearl coffee latte with cream mousse. I love the brown sugar syrup of "tiger stripes." We were told by the employee to give the boba a good shake before drinking. And honestly the drinks are too pretty to drink. This boba had both pudding and soft and chewy tapioca. Our order was made fairly quickly. The employees are so patient as my sister and I debated on what flavor to get. They may not have as much variety as other boba spots but you definitely do there for that tiger sugar experience in the drinks. Also with the Lunar New Year I was given a red envelope and inside was a coupon for my next drink. I will definitely be back again!

Delicious, quick & friendly! My son & I came to try out a Yelp promotion at Tiger Sugar and I'm so glad we did! We LOVE bubble tea. My son has been obsessed with it since he was 2! We'd never tried the chocolate kind that they had at Tiger sugar and it was so yummy. There was a line of people waiting for drinks, but because it's in this great Hmart shopping center, there's lots of little shops and things to look at while you're waiting. We bought some Tiger Sugar popcorn while we were there and it was super yum. We had never been to this Hmart, but we will definitely be back to enjoy more Tiger Sugar and all the great businesses in this location.

They do have bathroom and small seating area as well for those that wants to eat inside the store. They have variety of pastries, cakes, and bread to offer as well as coffees and drinks. We ended up getting few pastries to try. We got mocha bread, bulgogi croquette, creme brulee bread, and garlic cream cheese bread. The bread was all good and good quality. My personal favorite was the bulgogi croquette i had wish that i asked to warm up the bread before eating which they do offer. Service was good and i can see that they maintain the place nice and clean. Overall it's a solid bakery that offers good asian bread and pastries. The price is on higher side but quality was good. We ordered a classic sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll and this time, I also wanted to investigate their bagel game. Food comes out fast. We both watched admiringly from our tables as the short order cooks moved like tornados at the grill, furiously beating bowl after bowl of eggs to fulfill the counter endless string of orders. That's another thing. During the whole half hour we dined at a table, things never quieted. As soon as a table cleared, someone else would grab it right away. Over the years, I've found that when in doubt, it's best to follow the crowds. On most Saturday mornings, it seems this is the place where all the crowds in Ridgefield Park are congregating. This breakfast spot is as local as it gets. As a lover of small business, I can't tell you secretly happy I get to see lines at the door here while the Dunkin Donuts across the street languishes.

Java Day Cafe came up and it was really close to both of us so we decided to come here. The place is nestled in a small strip mall with other stablishments so luckily that means there's ample parking. There's also a fair amount of seating. You order at the counter and let them know if you want to take your food to go or if you'd like to dine-in. I was pretty hungry coming off a 12-hour shift so I got the Hungryman sandwich with a hash brown on the side. They have a few options as far as French toast goes and my girlfriend decided on Nutella stuffed. Our food came out rather quickly considering how busy they seemed to be. A few other parties were dining in and a good amount of people picked up takeout. My sandwich was much bigger than I anticipated but it was delicious. The various meats brought the saltiness and savory flavor I was looking for and it all paired well with the eggs and cheese. The bread it was served in had a nice crunch to it which is always appreciated. The sandwich was great but the next time I get it I have to add the SPK (salt, pepper, ketchup for you non-Jerseyans). I also tried some of my girlfriends French toast. It looked really good and I think I saw them take a picture before bringing it to our table. I'm not mad at that, as a Yelper I'm a firm follower of phone-eats-first! The French toast was delicious. It wasn't overly sweet and the bread had the all-important crunch. Walnuts also added good texture to everything. I think the only thing stopping me from rating this place 5-stars is the price. It's definitely on the pricier side. My girlfriend and I got coffees with our food and everything came out to a few bucks short of $50. Nevertheless, a very solid breakfast spot. I could see myself coming back. I found it weird that they have such nice plates but they only have plastic utensils. Not a knock on them, just a quirky thing I noticed.

Atmosphere is cute and vibes are great, definitely has modern and traditional Korean vibes. However, I would not say that this is like a traditional tea house? Having been to A LOT of tea houses in Korea, their menu and concept is definitely far from what a traditional teahouse is like. For instance, a traditional teahouse would have assorted rice, cakes and traditional, Korean desserts, however, I feel like this place used modern French pastries, and put a Korean twist on them, which I would say is not very Korean in reality. Baked goods were OK. It tasted stale. Losing a star for that as well.
