came here once before for a yelp event for the original tiger sugar brown sugar bubble tea when it first opened and it was super good! now it's just ok. i was here last night bout an hour before they closed so there was no line and it was fast service which was good but i tried the mango sago today because i was in the mood for something fruity but it wasn't good. it tasted super artificial and it was more sago than tea. the proportions weren't balanced, even for a large. i would say to stray away and only get what they're good at - which is the brown sugar milk tea read more

Tiger Sugar inside the renovated Little Ferry, NJ H-Mart is a nice addition to the selection of mini-mall of stores that's inside. The staff if nice, and their drinks are yum too. My only little item of note is that there wasn't an option to select the sweetness level and drink size like other boba franchises have. I'm not sure if the staff just forgot or if it's just not an option at Tiger Sugar - maybe their drinks are all one size and one level of sugar? Fortunately, the drink size and sweetness level was OK for the boba mood I was in. read more

came here for yelp elite check in and tried the best seller!! my friend got the signature drink. they're basically the same but the best seller has tiger jelly in it!! there's no ice or sugar levels so with the brown sugar syrup, it's pretty sweet. i think they also intentionally make the boba different sizes which was interesting. otherwise, the boba is chewy ! shake well before u drink it too! i recommend coming here bc the hmart is also super new and fun to browse!!! and u can sip ur boba while doing grocery shopping, what is better than that? read more

I've visited all of the NYC locations, but it is about time for Jersey to get one. The location is inside an HMart, so I'll be tempted every time I visit. LOOL what a smart choice, though! Tiger Sugar has great boba drinks with a solid amount of brown sugar milk teas along with fruit teas. Their brown sugar milk tea drinks have some variation based on toppings, there is a coffee version, etc. Overall the drinks are great! They are on the sweeter side (which I like), the toppings themselves seem fresh and taste great, and importantly the boba has great taste and flavor. Another great factor is these drinks look too good to drink. Just picking up the drink giving it a good shake and thinking how you are about the ruin something that looks so good makes you do a double-take but trust me it's worth going in. The biggest con is mostly the price. The drinks are sitting at around $6.50 each at the time of writing this which is more expensive than the usual ~$4-5 you can find around town but you are paying for better quality. read more

First tiger sugar in New Jersey. It does not disappoint, the drinks taste as good as the ones in NY and they beat all of the local bbt places by a huge margin. My favorite was the number 4, it has a shot of espresso and it is just delicious. I'd suggest this place to anyone. read more

So glad a Tiger Sugar finally opened up in NJ! Now I can come back from a hike or eating food nearby and pick up some delicious bubble tea without having to go through heavy traffic of NYC. The location is very convenient and since it's in a H Mart, the store didn't feel cramped at all. PLENTY of parking space around the area and the staff was quick and friendly. Although the location was busy, I didn't have to wait long for my drinks at all. Service was great! Also loved how they had a variety of Tiger Sugar snacks available including the popcorn, pineapple cake, and egg roll. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area or just as a quick rest stop for those traveling somewhere else. read more

This is a cute little shop in the H Mart. I got their signature black tea boba drink. As a fan of bubble tea, one of my favorite drinks is black tea and they did a pretty good job with their signature. I was surprised with a coffee taste in the drink i wasnt expecting it. It was great nonetheless, and at a reasonable price for only $7 they made my drink quickly and it tasted great! I'll probably be coming back to try one of the other ones soon. read more

The first time I had Tiger Sugar was in Asia before it was popularized here in America. Comparing the bubble tea from here to there, there is definitely some inconsistencies. In Asia, it is more flavorful, the tapioca pearls seemed to be soaked in brown sugar more than the Tiger Sugar's here in America. I say if you are going to only have one flavor, you better do it right and be better than the competition. I went with my sister yesterday and we both got the #2 signature because the menu said it was a best seller. The #2 is Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Pearls and Coffee. It had a nice subtle coffee flavor and the pearls were warm so I could tell it was freshly made. I did not expect the addition of coffee jelly but it was a welcome addition to the overall drink. I asked if they can put less ice. And they said no! They have the most impossible answer and said because we're a Franchise we're not allowed to customize the drinks. I'm paying for my drink and this is my personal preference and them saying no with that reason is just stupid. You go to Gong Cha or other bubble tea franchise they let you customize your drink.
