My chicken pho came out very quickly and first. This was delicious and I could tell it was made with so much love. I also loved the lemongrass flavor they added to it. It was a very generous portion for the price. Shortly after, my strawberry teddy bear matcha was served. This was just the perfect balance of sweetness from the strawberry and earthiness from the matcha. The teddy bear on top was the cutest touch. My personal favorites are the peanut butter cookie and the plain scone. They make everything there! I haven't tried the cakes yet, but it's on my list! It's a smaller space, but they've done a great job fitting in tables. I actually love that they're a bit closer together - it creates a more social, community feel. I've ended up having conversations with people around me (I've even practiced my French with a stranger!), which is something we don't get enough of these days. And we ordered a Green Tea Match Bingsu and got a massive bowl of shaved ice milk infused with mochi, a huge dollop of sweet red bean, surrounded by almond slivers and top with Bungeoppang (Taiyaki), a Korean fish shaped pastry that was split opened, smeared with sweet red bean and filled with green tea ice cream. Was it good? If you like your deserts on the sweeter side, yes it was. The shaved ice milk is richer than others I've had. The red bean paste is richer and very sweet. The mochi that is infused into the shaved ice adds texture as well as additional sweetness. The green tea ice cream is well, greet tea ice cream. And the Bungeoppang elevates higher. Is it my jam? It…read moreseems the place is still in a warming up phase before becoming recognized by locals and well known by coffee enthusiasts. I will say, the owner who is also the barista most days, is really into coffee and very enthusiastic with talking about his inspiration behind the business. My drink was good and of decent quality. It's close enough walking distance on a sunny day, so I'll definitely be back often in the summer
